Balinese - as all Indonesians, by nature are beautiful people inside and out. And I am not saying this because I am one. As Indonesian myself and although I fully understand where it came from, I am still often in awe with the beautiful soul I found in my fellow countrymen, and the ingrained grace and acceptance of things that life has thrown at you. I think there is an English subtitle option in the original video. There are three (snippet of) songs in there. The first two songs before Tanah Airku (the last song with the cute little girl) are Balinese folk songs, and sung in Balinese language. Whilst Tanah Airku was sung in Bahasa Indoneaia (Indonesian language). The first song is titled "Mejangeran" or more known as "Jange Janger". This is the one with the girl in the ocean. While the second is "Putri Cening Ayu". Mejangeran - freely translated or interpreted as 'an invitation to dance', is a folk song born out of agrarian tradition, and tells a story of after a long hard work on the field people will gather and have their reprieve during their break through singing and dancing before getting back to the grind. Hence, its upbeat tempo and lyrics. The CGI effect showing that big creature represents the bad evil spirit who will always chase us in life, but our mother nature as well as the cultures inherited by our ancestors will protect us.
