    Congrats on the purchase! Definitely some good bones on this. We are in full reno mode on our 86 Odyssey right now, trying to film the process to help others. Looking forward to see how yours turns out.

    How’s the renovation going? That is a good buy that you got. I don’t know what you paid for it but it’s a good motorhome that you got. I wished I could find something like that around here. Are you find around here is newer and high priced. I would need to go east.(east Texas.) to find something. That’s where all the older country people are, lol. Once I have the money and really serious about buying one that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to check out your other videos though.

    I'm a believer in electric refrigerators over a propane one. All it took was a tour through an RV wrecking yard to see all the burned out RVs from propane refers blowing and burning the RV!

    I didn't like these at first, but now I see the benefit of having an overhead sleeping unit because it gives me more options. Do you still have this one, and have you done updates to it?

    I put a duck decal on RV front passenger side of the overhead bed out side and a small sticker of a duck on the passenger side window to remind people to DUCK when getting in or out my son in law almost knocked himself out 2 different times and I have had other friends who hit their heads getting in or out I personally did it once and learned my lesson this is my 3rd Toyota rv and have warned people and with the duck it does help to remind them.😮

    I have a 89 Toyota dolphin, rebuilt, engine and interior in 2006. New front tires for back tires are very good, the paperwork and manuals are with it. 93,000 miles I’m having problems finding someone did you just little things in it nothing structural at all is needed. Thinking about reselling it. The things I have to have done are because I’m partially disabled. It’s going down the block to have its safety inspection which it’ll pass. So far everything I’ve tested works air conditioner works really well. In 2006 they put in a new hot water heater. Believe it or not I just bought it and if I can’t get these things done it’s no used to me. I feel sad about it. I want a different 12 V fridge put in it., I want a different toilet because I don’t want to mess with the water tank, The counter replaced, and one side of the booth I want storage built-in for my art in its place on the side that doesn’t hold the pump and last I want a Lagun table. You would think people would want a little bit of work. Wouldn’t take long a couple weekends. Pray I don’t have to sell it and I find somebody to help me. I can paint it myself I could decorate it make curtains I’m a mixed media artist, but mostly a fiber artist.

      I hope you find someone to help you out! One thing I know from experience, once you start changing things out, there’s always something more. It can be like opening a can of worms… have a look at the whole remodel I did. It can go from good to very over whelming fairly quickly.

    I see one listed in California. Supposedly has 63k miles on it. They want $9,000 for it which seems high to me but ive never looked at this type before. Any thoughts?

    • @JRESHOW
      @JRESHOW  6 месяцев назад +2

      What is the condition? If there is no water damage in the walls or anywhere else, it’s a deal… check thoroughly. Does everything else work? Fridge, AC, water, heat? Any leaks? Feel for soft wood EVERYWHERE. If it checks out, it’s easily worth that, if not more.

    • @KitKat-kw4ed
      @KitKat-kw4ed 6 месяцев назад

      @JRESHOW they say it does and I'm waiting on more information. The reason I'm drawn toward Toyotas is I had a Toyota truck for 8 years that had over 190,000 miles on it. That truck ran like new. I never would have sold it but one of my friends told me it couldn't handle the snow in chicago. I wish I still had it

    There are two things l enjoy watching on you tube Toyota Hiluxes especially when they are similar to my 1997 Toyota Hilux rwd single cab aluminum trayed manual with the 22R engine and mobile hones camper vans and you did mention that your camper van has a V6 but there are a lot of Toyota camper vans with tge 20R and 22R engine and the dashboard is the same but configured for right hand drive and the cab is very similar to the cab on my Hilux the exterior l am talking about a l so no rust a bonus mine has no rust issues at all
