@@Ashton.everydaycarry congratulations and good for you that was a great deal. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY YOUNG MAN YOUR A GREAT MEMBER OF THE KNIFE COMMUNITY THANK YOU
I've got that same Slim Select 112 and I think it's safe to close one handed. You'd have to flick it really hard to get the blade anywhere close to the danger zone where it would close all the way on your hand. Also, I don't think the studs rotate, but it just feels that way because of the grooves in them.
Thanks for sharing about your Buck knives. I really liked that little Budgie knife, very cool. I also have a Bantam, dandy EDC budget friendly knife. My favorite Buck is my 119 Pro in s35vn. Take care and Cheers!
That first Buck knife you purchased is such a beautiful knife. I remember in 1976 I was 7 years old I got caught at school with a knife I brought to school but it was a knife I stole from my father needless to say I got whooped then I went and stole a knife from a local hardware store yes I was a very bad child. Great videos buddy
You need to reconsider how you measure blade length. It's not at all how long the piece of metal is, but how long the sharpened area is. For example with the bantam nano you gave it an additional 33% over actually blade length. That is a significant amount of error.
From what I undertsand, that is not always the case in certain areas, where blade lengths can be measured differently. And I was just giving a rough estimation from a quick glace, but partially why I use the mat with measurement markings is so you can see for yourself the dimensions. Thank you though and I will try to do better in the future.
Nice selection of Buck moderns.
Thank you!
Oh ya budgie quite small but quite pricey they are. That’s a freaking awesome knife. 😊
Yeah they are quite pricey, but I was lucky to be able to get in on sale for $50. But it's a great little knife!

The Budgie is on sale at knife vendors now. Looks like a clearance sale, so it's probably a discontinued model.
