- Welcome to the ultimate 4K DIY gaming home theatre setup that I recently put together powered by the incredible Hisense PX3 Pro! In this video, I take you step by step on how I transformed this master bedroom in my home, into a home theatre for next-level gaming and entertainment that left me with nothing but a smile on my face once it was completed!
I kept this setup as simple as possible to showcase just how easy it is to build an immersive & fully functional home theatre thanks to the PX3 Pro Ultra Short Throw projector from @HisenseCA alongside their Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) screen.

I bought that Projector for my living room with 120" ALR screen over blk Friday with a GREAT DEAL i got & F*n LOOOVE it😘👌👍🙌
NEVER go back to regular TV again maybe for bedrooms only, Hisense makes GREAT projector & TVS hands down👍, ALSO HAVE Their 75U8K model TV for my bedroom, Pic & blks is stunning

I have similar setup (with 132 ALR screen from Nothing Projector).
My suggestions:
Get rid of these lamps. They are counterproductive in case of projector.
Focus on sound system instead.
Move power outlet behind cabinet.
Use motorized slider tray for your prijector.
That’s awesome! Yes my plan in the future is to get a motorized projector platform from Vividstorm! Might also get an actual media unit, one as long as the screen. The lights just happened to be there originally so I’m gonna keep em for now haha
Nice set up. I don't know why more people don't use UST in Home Theaters. I am building out a dedicated Home Theater right now and I will be using a UST and a 7.2.4 sound system.
Yeah it’s so much more convenient than a long throw projector in my opinion! Coming from someone who has tested both out. Also, that’s so exciting! I need to get a sound system hooked up as well at some point.

Yeah the next step for me is probably getting a dedicated surround sound Atmos system in here! The built in speakers work great for now tho, but yes, it’s in the plan 🙏🏼

The speaker sounded ok but would be Extra awesome with a proper 7.2.4 set up either by marantz Denon or onkyo receiver with either focal speakers or other top of the range THX certified
@@charleswrigley yes the speakers that are built in do sound really good in person. But I agree, it would definitely wrap up the home theatre with a proper system! Hopefully one day.😄

How loud is the Fan of the Px3 pro?
Thank you! It remains really quite actually! Can’t hear it over the audio at all. 36 decibels from 1 meter away is the official spec

Ohhh these were actually installed when the house was built 15 years ago. Robinson Lighting I believe, a local company in Canada
Can you turn off motion smoothing with the projector? Because it just kills the cinematic visuals on Avatar and Avengers.
I’m not sure off the top of my head but, this projector has so many customization options when it comes to the picture settings! Please bear in mind that the picture you are seeing from my camera recording is nowhere near accurate to what it looks like for me in person. It is difficult to record an ALR screen through a camera lens

I was thinking about it too. But i got a 4K 88" Micro-LED from LG for 3400€, because at the End this isn't real 4K, it's just e-shift upscaled full HD.
Fair enough! I really can’t tell the difference between this and my 4K Mini LED 75 inch Hisense TV, the picture is incredible in person and the screen is massive!
@dadrianca IWhere i bought my TV zhey hd both of them and i watched them both and the Hiesense couldn't win against the LG tv and at the end i decided for the tv because, the Hisense fidn"t han VRR, i have a PS 5 too and with VRR it looks amazing. By the way this was in 2022 maybe the Laser tvs are much better now. But iwhat matters is that you are happy with iz
SO awesome. Please get a ps5 pro and show us some gaming footage on it! and maybe play some 4k UHD blu rays instead of streaming to get the max quality

@@dadrianca need more spending lol. get a Panasonic 820 or magnetar 800. I have lots of 4k mkv files too. Need to test them on my new Xgimi aura 2.
2 hours of fiddling to get it square. Uh. I know these USTs are popular but I feel like traditional projectors and even short throw (not ultra short throw) have such a massive advantage in terms of price.
I spent a long time trying to align it because I didn’t want to use automatic keystone correction! I could have had it setup in 10 minutes with auto keystone but I wanted to do it manually! Long throw projectors are awesome as well.

The px3 pro doesn’t do 4k 120hz. It only outputs 60hz
@@MrRovoLova it actually does do 4K 120hz through its two hdmi 2.1 ports, and RTINGS.com says the same as well on their review. I plan on hooking up my PC to further test this at some point! I’m not sure if the other versions differ, but this is the USA version with 3000 ansi lumens and I am receiving a 120hz signal in the game bar when hooked up to my ps5 at 4K
yes Input 120hz but it doesn’t output 120hz, so it’s effectively useless since it still outputs at 60hz. All UST projectors output at 60hz

“It's important to note that although the PX3-PRO accepts a 4K/120Hz signal, as with earlier Hisense projectors that feature wide-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, these signals are eventually down-converted because the DLP chipset tops out at 4K/60Hz onscreen. This issue is universal among DLP manufacturers while they await a new hardware solution from Texas Instruments.”

@dadrianca ya 1 day is impressive. I was using the ps5 from a blu ray player. I got a high-end Panasonic now.
@@travisgarland840 oh nice! That’s what I am using for my 4K blu rays right now but it doesn’t support Dolby vision. Looks like I will probably need a dedicated player at some point
