Thanks for watchin and if you like the braaaap content and haven't yet please consider following along. From the Crested Butte side the trail head is Brush Creek. You enter it just before coming into town to the north. You can see a sniff of it at the end when I return to the van. Here's a super fun trail that's in the same area and on the way to Perl Pass. Take a look and if ya can't find it let me know and I'll send a pin on the map. ruclips.net/video/9x8fNz8j6bA/видео.htmlsi=PB-Z3e5RBvDd6PUK
@@mikecolesvids couple more. What we’re temps like for you, and what time of day? Did you go up and back same way, or cross over from Crested Butte toward Aspen? Lastly, what sort of GOS device and trail files are you running? Thanks, Mike
Thanks Hank, it sure does provide some dramatic views. This spring I added a DJI Mini2 to the mix. As the summer progressed I got more comfortable using it on the trail. It tucks really small and fits in my hydro pack. I’ve yet to carry it on a group ride or on some really challenging trails. For fear of inpatient riders or smashing it during a get off.
@@mikecolesvids that's the same one that blancolirio recommends so it must be good. Can if follow you down a trail or does the operator need to do that?
@@hanklee6529 I’m not familiar with that channel but this drone will not follow ya. It only has sensors on the bottom for landing so no collision avoidance. It does have some pre set flights where you highlight an object and it does a circle, helix, launch. And thanks for following along I appreciate all you new subscribers. I honestly enjoy the entire vid process aside from self promoting. I’m just kind of boring like that and don’t like spamming my content 🙏
@@motomatt450 it’s a step up but yet to ride with it. The night time lapse and night photos are cool as well as being able to switch from time warp normal and back is fun. It has some quick set features so ya do t have to make as many frame rate or other adjustments. I’ve yet to use the timer but you can set it to turn on/off at a designated time. I’ve only scratched the surface but very pleased so far!
Looks like an amazing ride! Was there a specific trailhead you went to go on pearl pass? Looking to go ride there!

Very well done video! what go pro did you shoot it with?
Thanks I appreciate the feedback! This was shot with a GP7 and edited on the iPhone. But I’ve recently added a 9 cause it was on sale 🤓
@@mikecolesvids How do you like the 9?
