She is of the same cloth as Whitney, Mariah, Celine. She just didn't have the best people behind her and the musical landscape changed quicker than she could follow. It's a fickle business and when you are not writing your own stuff, you'll always be hustling.......anyway, I think she does a terrific job all things considering; she is knocking on 60!
