Because they don’t train to hold their rifles up for extended periods of time. So they revert to a mag well grip. It’s a failure in their physical fitness to hold up the rifle. Granted you don’t need to be holding it at the ready all the time but people should really train more.
I think this is a personal preference, for me, even for a short match the magwell is terrible, i can't handle well the gun, i feel it so slow, i prefer havig my hand near the end of the rail, but like i said, i think it's a personal preference, even just for the way grip looks (sorry for my english, im'italian)
Well, Magwell grip is the CQB grip.. But only in IRL because that exposes less of your arm when rounding a corner. Sorta making you blindfire if you end up making contact.
Honorable mention(in my opinion): forward grips. Even tough they dont help with recoil control, since there is no much, if any recoil in airsoft, but they realy help with leading and sholdering your airsoft gun, making aiming slightly easyer, plus bonus points for looks.
They help with holding the gun up for long periods of time. And allow for a more comfortable grip so you can shoulder the gun better and hold it steadier.
I get a lot ppl advocating against sites and they are usually using crappy stock guns with no range or accuracy. Magnification isn't really necessary considering you've almost ever shooting at anyone beyond 250 feet even outdoors, but if you don't think a good dot or reflex site is essential esp in outdoor woods ball, I think you may be doing something wrong 😄 Sure, at short distances or CQB you're tracing your shots and walking them, but in outdoors woods ball, I prefer to know my first shot is going to hit exactly where my dot is aiming. One and done. 🤘😎🤘
yknow you can do that with properly zeroed iron sights right? im not a fan of optics as i run old school weapons and glass on them feels wrong to me. ive not had any issues with hitting things using irons in the past 10 years, to the point i no longer own weapon mounted sights, just have a monocular to spot targets at range.
I'm another blind as a bat player so a 2 to 3x magnified optic makes life a lot easier for me, far fewer TKs for starters :) I wouldn't bother going above 3x though, even on a 200 acre site you just don't need more than that, better off with a monocular as they'll be out of shot range anyway.
here is my top 5: 5. A good 1pt sling 4. Good midcaps 3. A good comfortable, non wobbly stock 2. A foregrip(i prefer short vertical grips like the bcm and moe ones) 1. A good optic(i use an acog clone from china, and it even has the real trades)

Suppressors transform looks. And I think for most people (in countries other than the US) that the asthetics of the RIF is the most important part. Of course performance is important if your trying to win, but when it's up on the mantle, A good looking gun is what really matters;
Here in Australia, we unfortunately don't have Airsoft in 5 of our 6 total states (and the 1 that does have it, doesn't even have any fields or stores yet). In 2 other states, we have Gelsoft (almost identical to Airsoft). The number 1 most useful attachment for us is probably a gun sling. It's great for those moments where your secondary will save you a trip back to spawn or a few minutes (more like hours) waiting for a revive. A custom mod I was able to achieve was a homebrewed tracer for my pump action shotgun, using a UV LED and a AA Batterybox.
Thats awesome man, so sad that your oppresive government deems these sports ban worthy. Honestly makes me wonder why average citizens cant have firearms but every time i see a politician they are surrounded by bodyguards with guns. just seems odd, why do they need protection but average people don't?
I personally disagree with tracer units being number one because they can reveal your location at night; someone can very easily see your tracers coming, duck into cover, alert teammates, etc, your location is compromised whereas with white bbs it's much more unlikely to happen
Gun sling I’m using Magpul ms3, that’s very useful! Due to use gbbr, red dot sight choose Aimpoint T1 and Comp M4, durable under the recoil and high lightness under the sun Fore grip using Magpul RVG and MVG Flashlight using surefire’s
"Please have at least some dignity" *Me in my loadout of all scarlet red colored armor and helmet with a m132 microgun* Me: My dignity was shot out in a field long time ago
My second most valuable attachment is a good quality red dot, this is only beaten by my sling from Ferro Concepts. I'm one of those players who will use iron sights if nothing else is available but I find these to be a real struggle due to being cross eye dominant. I have found that with a red dot I am able to focus on my sights and consequently the target I'm aiming at whereas with iron sights this is very difficult most the time. Beyond the optic side of things I also run a high quality flash light but these get left at home if I'm doing an outdoor event which is solely outside and during daylight hours. I've also found that I'm quite reliant on foregrips due to the comfort factor and I've found the right foregrip reduces the strain placed on wrist and arm. Admittedly I'm not a fan of the Stanag (M4) magazine adaptors as I find them to be immersion breaking and they often detract from the characteristics that particular gun is meant to have. If you find yourself running a Stanag magazine on your pistol or shotgun perhaps it's time to swap to a compact AEG/GBBR/HPA weapon such as an MP5K or PDW style weapon. I'd also argue that running stanag magazines on the P90 defeats the point of running the platform too.
I struggle to focus through some ironsights so an sight of some description is essential for me. On the subject of mag adapter on a G3 to fit a drum mag to make an HK11 it is ok as finding G3 drums are difficult, where m4 drums are easy.
I love that classic look of the M16 with an under barrel grenade launcher. Personally I am not a fan of modern m4's, but that classic look is awesome.( The M16 that Arnold Schwartsaneger has in "Predator") It just butters my bread.
One thing that I use at airsoft fields is a buddy equipment system for me and my friends so basically grenades are on the back of my vest for my friends to grab like ammo, grenades, extra guns, battery’s, co2 anything really. As well as a flip sight for your scope.
After you said putting an EOtech on a raffica, my boredom was replaced, especially over lockdown, I did it using 3D printed parts and plasticlay (a homemade mouldable plastic) to make a raffica that’s more like an assault rifle after I put some mag adapters on.
another good mention is grips and handguards/rail covers, like slings, anything that makes your gun more comfortable is a help in nearly every scenario
As someone who wears glasses while using his red dot, i can agree. Kinda wish they made an actual 4x ACOG in airsoft (without me spending a fortune on a real one from trijicon).
With the sights and optics. Some, such as NCSTAR have a lifetime warranty that if they get destroyed by a projectile, you can send it to them and they will replace it.
Grips can be a great attachment. For real-steel rifles, they're used for recoil control. However, for airsoft, a grip can make a rifle more comfortable to hold.
@Shaun Kemp I belive the one I have was under 20 bucks, CVLIFE on amazon has a pretty good deal for a solid 2 point. I would stray away from the slings that can be both, and just buy one of each and see which one you like better. Those interchangeable ones tend to be unreliable.
Giving sights a spot on this list is crazy, my first thing ima buy for a m4 or something is a sight, like you coulda put another attachment on the list, some people just really don’t like sights
I mean why not use the iron sights? I love certain types of iron sights like Honey badger sights and Lancer tactical (as bad as it sounds) I love they're sights they put on their m4s
@@BrainEatPenguin I literally just threw that army surplus sling out because my padded BFG sling showed up. You never know what you are missing out on till you step it up.
@@recording_closet9100 damn bro, where are your guns coming from? Glock? Airsoft guns DO NOT have an effective range of 328 feet or 100 meters. Some sniper rifles might be able to reach out to that distance, but it is far from ‘effective’.

I love my tracer unit ! I have a specna arms ak 74 and it has sights that are adjustable .I put a tracer on and adjusted the sights to be exact to where the BBs go .Its more useful I think to have a tracer on my specna arms AR C PDW as with an adjustable red dot as where the bbs go can be seen with the tracer and dot can be adjusted to be in line with where they go .GBB , NBB and Aep s are great with their sights without red dot add ons and tracer bbs go where I align my fibre optic sights .
If you’re looking for an airsoft sight, look for something not made out of a lot of metal it’ll cut out some weight. I have a knockoff metal 4x Bravo sight it makes the weight of my gun so much worse. I got a $10 Holo sight with Eotech marks from EBay has the red dot and is completely plastic so no added weight. Works for me 👌🏻
Eh, more of a preference tbh. I prefer metal since its more durable, plus my sight is a replica of a 4x ACOG (running a GBB replica of a standard US Army SOPMOD), so having it be made of metal makes it more realistic. Plus too much plastic on any gun for me just makes it more like a nerf gun.
I only ever ran a sling if I was doing outdoor play. Indoor play, I never and I do mean "never" switched to my side arm. If I was low in the mag or ran out, I'd take cover and do a mag change. If I felt I was low and was not in a good position to do a proper check, I swapped for a fresh one. I usually ran my Cybergun FAMAS F1. Was my first gun, but I spent a lot of time with it, even upgraded it's internals and did some other work. Slings for outdoors makes sense when you're possibly covering a lot of ground and not expecting to be shot rounding a corner where as CQB games it was different. Optics... Well there's a lot of optics that are not the most useful and thus I didnt waste time on. But, having a decent red dot or illuminated magnified optic was generally more helpful than harmful. Hell, even a non battery powered tritium powered sight works pretty good as well. Magnified optics for outdoor play can be useful if you didnt pack a pair of binoculars with you to identify possible targets at ranges they cant engage you at and for CQB, they aren't called "Reflex Sights" for nothing. I never used a mag adapater as many just look silly and add a lot of extra bulk to the gun. Now, if there were some good mag well conversions out there... Like say, converting that FAMAS to use M4 mags, I'd have been fine with a product like that. Alas, most were silly and not the most functional. I view flashlights much like that analysis to the end of the presentation on them. I didnt use them to act as a "tracer" effect, I used them to identify targets in dark areas or to see. I did use them from time to time for their blinding effect as if you get the drop on some people, disorienting them works pretty well and a bright enough light would most certainly do that. So they have their place and are worth having. Launchers and Tracer units... Never got any of them, cant say I ever wanted to either. So I can't really comment about how good/bad they are. I hear merits of theirs a lot but I also hear the down sides. As somebody who likes to have weapons kitted out appropriately for a given scenario or to mimic a military build I could see where I'd want a launcher at times but generally I think like some other things, the added weght and bulk wouldnt be what I wanted. I've been out of Airsoft for a while though. Been wanting to get back into it but in my area it's more or less died. Don't have the luxury of traveling too far to play either anymore. One of my favorite guns for outdoor play was my Echo 1 VSS Vintorez. I'm the sort of person who uses real gear to play the game and I put a military grade PSO-1 scope on it off one of my rifles. So not only did it look the part but I could have the luxury of knowing it wasnt going anywhere once I mounted it and if it got bumped or banged up. The chevrons in the scope for drop worked rather well too, at maximum range with 0.25gr BB's the 100 meter drop marker is where they fell so finding my drop was easy, just had to account for windage at that point but I could eyeball that. It was good times.

Zeroing your optics.
That's not a bad idea! Thx man.
If you want to zeroing many optics, maybe better start with laser projector zeroed with shots than adjust the optics to the laser for cost saving bbs
That doesn't work, only if you wat to zero many optics to the same gun, rails are not aligned well.
this will not apply to upgraded outdoor airsofts as they use heavy bbs. most tracer bbs stop at 0.28-0.30g...

I personally disagree with tracer units being number one because they can reveal your location at night; someone can very easily see your tracers coming, duck into cover, alert teammates, etc, your location is compromised whereas with white bbs it's much more unlikely to happen
lmao, staying hidden is my main priority so i have dark green bbs so when i play outdoors they wont see em coming
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like tracer units
most night games require them
Congrats on 200k. Awesome video. Thanks
9:16 can someone introduce me to these true warriors.
Gun sling I’m using Magpul ms3, that’s very useful!
Due to use gbbr, red dot sight choose Aimpoint T1 and Comp M4, durable under the recoil and high lightness under the sun
Fore grip using Magpul RVG and MVG
Flashlight using surefire’s
AYEEE my footage made it in thanks!
Changing bbs color based on mag capacity is so nice damn.
The phantom force clip at 4:05 is showing footage of the field I play at

When he said “tristan I know your watching this” I’m like how 😭😭🤣🤣
Love you Scott. Keep up the good work my man
Jesse H will do and thanks for the support! 🙏
Any recommendations on cheap tracer units? Just bought my first gun and load out
Yeah, ACETECH AT1000 is the cheapest I would go. I love mine, although if you have a few extra $$$ to spend try and get one of the super small ones
LAB Speedsoft Team which summer small one?

@@ONLYBEAST-rd1yj No problem and this is the one I believe he is talking about www.evike.com/products/86873/
I struggle to focus through some ironsights so an sight of some description is essential for me.
On the subject of mag adapter on a G3 to fit a drum mag to make an HK11 it is ok as finding G3 drums are difficult, where m4 drums are easy.
Try focusing on the target itself not the sights that will be your best bet
I love that classic look of the M16 with an under barrel grenade launcher. Personally I am not a fan of modern m4's, but that classic look is awesome.( The M16 that Arnold Schwartsaneger has in "Predator") It just butters my bread.
Really? That stock is just so ugly on the original M16, everything else, cool, but that stock needs gone
One thing that I use at airsoft fields is a buddy equipment system for me and my friends so basically grenades are on the back of my vest for my friends to grab like ammo, grenades, extra guns, battery’s, co2 anything really. As well as a flip sight for your scope.

@@adamdillon2851 who can stop you? It’s stealthy
@@thebaetomato cant argue with that
@@adamdillon2851 you can, but only some fields accept it
A good starter tip i have, is buy a simple Grip and a Red dot or Aimpoint. (I started with a Red dot with a built in 5mw laser)
4:12 wouldn't that just make it an m14?
I miss the old lord
After you said putting an EOtech on a raffica, my boredom was replaced, especially over lockdown, I did it using 3D printed parts and plasticlay (a homemade mouldable plastic) to make a raffica that’s more like an assault rifle after I put some mag adapters on.
I gonna put a m4 magazine adapter on my m4
Absolute Madlads.

another good mention is grips and handguards/rail covers, like slings, anything that makes your gun more comfortable is a help in nearly every scenario
My cousins in this video at 7:17 lol I did expect that
Ayyy I’m in the 801 airsoft group I was low key not expecting to see that clip at the end
@USairsoft appreciate the shout out!! that’s my “phantom force” clip. Phantom force is my team, my channel/ig is SNORKJUUICE 🤙🏻
That scene with the Glow in the dark BBS was beautiful
It is pretty dope
It was scary too
I think that magnified optics are very important for people with less-than-ideal vision
As someone who wears glasses while using his red dot, i can agree. Kinda wish they made an actual 4x ACOG in airsoft (without me spending a fortune on a real one from trijicon).
Congrats for your 200k thx for all the ussfull vids

With the sights and optics. Some, such as NCSTAR have a lifetime warranty that if they get destroyed by a projectile, you can send it to them and they will replace it.

Fuckin airsoft man LOL
Grips can be a great attachment. For real-steel rifles, they're used for recoil control. However, for airsoft, a grip can make a rifle more comfortable to hold.

CONGRATS ON 200k!
. “I couldn’t hit him because I didn’t have my foregrip” or “he only won the gunfight because he had a red dot” said nobody ever.
i did miss the bipod in the top 5. i think its better than a thumb grip. or a simple grip.
then again most people grab the mag.
To be honest you make the best airsoft review videos
Honestly I run an m4, and couldn't run it without a sling
@Shaun Kemp for my airsoft setup, a cheap amazon 2 point sling works great.
Is it just me But i never buy slings, i just use some rope or some shit
Paul Hök it’s just you
I do the same
Whatever works for you, dude. However I use an M249 sling with everything because the extra padding makes it so much more comfortable.
I found a $9 sling at an army surplus store. Has held up for a couple years quite well.
@@BrainEatPenguin I literally just threw that army surplus sling out because my padded BFG sling showed up. You never know what you are missing out on till you step it up.
Totally didn't think about using red tracer BBs as a low ammo indicator. Genius.
- why don't you have a sight on your gun?
- the same plastic gun that has effective range of 50 meters?
No, they can have an effective range of upwards of 100 meters...
@@recording_closet9100 damn bro, where are your guns coming from? Glock? Airsoft guns DO NOT have an effective range of 328 feet or 100 meters. Some sniper rifles might be able to reach out to that distance, but it is far from ‘effective’.
I mean, it looks cool tho
@@mitchellsheridan5252 Playing airsoft for a decade has taught me that the VAST majority of people are absolutely terrible judges of distance. The amount of people that have sworn to me that their rifle can reach to 150 YARDS is hilarious.

Fore grips don't even get an honorable mention?
Ha love the spas I just got mine I'm working on a stock for it now I love it but man sometimes an addaptor would be nice. Also really surprises you didn't mention grips or anything I mean a used mag pull runs like 15 bucks around me and made my RIS AK feel so much better to hold and move with
How recoil be like in movies: 2:46
do u mean 1:42
I love my tracer unit ! I have a specna arms ak 74 and it has sights that are adjustable .I put a tracer on and adjusted the sights to be exact to where the BBs go .Its more useful I think to have a tracer on my specna arms AR C PDW as with an adjustable red dot as where the bbs go can be seen with the tracer and dot can be adjusted to be in line with where they go .GBB , NBB and Aep s are great with their sights without red dot add ons and tracer bbs go where I align my fibre optic sights .
Any high caliber magazine looks just stupid on a pistol...
My opinion!
@Deadpoppin hey can you read he said and I quote "my opinion"

I run a DMR role with the secutor rapax m2, barely any attachments other than a sling, red dot and a 3x magnifier flip up sight. Does the trick.
Corona brought me here. I never ever in my life touched a air soft gun
Airsoft one word
"you guys are getting attachments?"
It was good times.
you forgot one: *the attachments you get with a cheap springer*
I like the commando foregrip, it’s just cool
