You are so very kind. I’m ageing.. My teeth are crumbling, my eye sight is letting me down and my hair is turning to candy floss.. But you and embroidery are putting some beauty back into my life. I’m going to have a go at embroidery ❤
Thanks for being so gracious with letting me use your pattern. I'm the one with the friend who didn't want the gift I embroidered, so I'll donate to you. Nancy Ouellette🌹
@@MichellesHandmadeCreations I had asked her to be honest and she was so I wasn't hurt. Otherwise it would have ended up in a drawer and I didn't want that.🙂
I am staying for the ginger cat! Can’t believe he isn’t on top of your work. My boy loves to jump on me when I have a needle in my hand. He usually leaves after a quick cuddle. My stitching often includes cat hair. 😅
Good Lord, this is delightful, I have watched it twice now. The finished look is just lovely. I have started practicing on the stitches, I really would like to have a go at this one, it would make such a lovely gift. Thank you Sarah for taking the time to show us your wonderful skills.
I really enjoyed how you have brought the earlier tutorial forward from a flower sampler to a beautiful piece of art that could be adapted to a number of uses. It also demonstrates that you don’t need many stitch types to achieve wonderful results, which is great for those, like me, who are still learning.
You are my "go to" when I want to stitch something real! Slow stitch is another release for me, but the real knowledge of embroidery is beautiful and we can proudly display. It is the true art form of embroidery. I love your videos and the knowledge that you share with us. Thank you, dear friend, for my education!
0:07 "And today we present Cute Orange Cat...Oh wait, did the hooman want to say something?" Tips about design are very useful, thanks so much. Works out beautifully!
Such a beautiful piece of embroidered art. I especially love the thistles! And Ginger Cat brings joy to the session. Thank you Sarah for all the lovely work you do for us.
So thoughtful of you to create this new design using the flowers that your taught us to make last week. It is a beautiful bouquet. Thank you for the free design and the instructional video filled with great tips! 💖
Thank you Sarah! This is the only flower tutorial I have ever seen that teaches you how to make a beautiful bouquet by combining individual flower techniques. Great composition, pattern development and stitching tips! I absolutely love the subtle white border and the way you tied it all together with a silk ribbon bow! ❤😊
Can't decide what I like best, the beautiful embroidery and your wonderful tutorial,or Ginger cat😊. Maybe Ginger would like his portrait done in embroidery.
Hi Sarah, I have only just found your tutorials but love them. I do lots of needlecrafts but never embroidery but I will now. I have printed off your patterns and hope to start using all my threads I have soon. Thank you so much
Oh, Sarah, I really enjoy how you let Ginger Cat just hang out with you and that you talk about Ginger (him? her?). You're like me in that way, because my Cali Rae, my 55 pound boxer girl, is my constant companion and whom I talk about all of the time. This is such a well done tutorial. You're very descriptive and easy to follow. Every time I watch another of your tutorials, that project is the 1 I want to start. But since I'm such a beginner, I'm definitely thinking the slow stitch sampler needs to be my first project. However, this little bouquet has me enchanted, so hopefully I'll have the confidence to go for it when I feel I'm done with my sampler or I've at least practiced the stitches used in this project. Oh! I have to say that I was amazed at what a single thread can do in the right stitch. I just love those daisies! BTW, thanks for the pdf! Currently, I'm in the middle of paying off some rather costly auto repairs and dental work, but once I get passed all of that, I'll be happy to see what extras I get as a Patreon member of yours. I feel it's only right to donate to your cause and for your instruction, otherwise I'd be paying for kits with instructions anyway. Since the shipping from you to me is so costly, I need to buy my supplies here in the US. For now, I'll glean what I can from your videos and your wonderful Facebook group.
Any support you give me is appreciated Michelle 🙏. Ginger Cat (he) likes to sit with his people, so as long as he doesn't eat the threads he can hang out with us!!
Thank you Sarah for the video. It was good to see how to take the flower sampler forward into a completed picture. Thank you for the inspiration. I am not quite sure if Ginger cat 🐱 wants to stitch or be a film star, the old saying I am ready for my close up came to mind at the start of the video.
ohhhhhh...... this is going to be fabulous..... I can tell just from the first 5 minutes. Real life beckons, I'll be back this evening to watch every minute.!!! Thank you Sarah.......... this is going to be lovely....
This is really gorgeous. Will be giving some of these a go. The thistle technique is great, looking forward to that one in particular. Will be back to your shop again soon, too.
I am so glad I found you. I have always wanted to learn how to embroider, but it was always too intimidating. I love the way you explain things, it really makes me feel like I can do it!
Hi Sarah I’m so thrilled to rebscribe to your channel my granddaughter wanted to learn to embroider. So I started her off on little kits and referred her to you and she’s amazing as to what she has done . My hope is she stays inspired in her stitching she is 16.
This tutorial is so valuable to me Sarah!! Using the three hues of purple on the alliums really makes a difference!! I’ve never really been able to do the stitch for the forget-me-nots either, but seeing how you do them and so close up has made it so clear to me! You’re invaluable dear!!!!
That turned out so beautifully, Sarah. It was helpful to see how stitches looked using the DMC variegated floss. Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. Take care, and happy stitching, Arleen
Thanks
💖
I love watching your videos. Your cat is so calm ..the whole experience is so soothing for me. You are the best teacher
...and we love Ginger Cat.

Thank you so much Nancy! x
That's so sad that your "friend" didn't want your embroidered gift. I'm afraid my feelings would be hurt if someone refused a gift I made for them.
@@MichellesHandmadeCreations I had asked her to be honest and she was so I wasn't hurt. Otherwise it would have ended up in a drawer and I didn't want that.🙂
Thankyou Sarah. I'll work on my framing. ☺️

Ha, same here! My girl seems to have decided that me breaking out the stitching kit means it’s time for snuggles. Ginger Cat is a lovely assistant!

Your work is so beautiful Sarah. You are very talented, and such a good teacher. 😁
New subscriber and I think I’ll have to watch your videos a few times as I spent most of this one watching your gorgeous cat 🙂
Very helpful for beginners, or someone that doesn't embroider very often. Thanks so much for showing how you design and think about placement.
