Mainly because a large number of the record buying and video watchers are millennials that aren't willing to have an open mind when it comes to genuine music, no matter the genre. Although most of these millennials' are children of Gen X, a large number of us, grew up on 70's & 80's music. Again, they've probably been exposed but they don't like it. Thank God we have a few that recognize real music and musicianship and keep it from dying!
It’s because the music industry is now solely about business, it not about talent it’s about how much money they can make by marketing and promoting a product.

Oh, this is such a wonderful cover in any way. Jessica is an amazing singer. - which is also very, very evident in this band's cover of the Ray Charles cover "night time is the right time" .... along with another great vocal from, I think she is called, India.

Beautifully played and arranged. I don’t mean to be a buzzkill but as a drummer myself, I have to to comment on the drummer not staying in the pocket and with one groove. He changed the groove and the feel of the song at least three times.find a groove that feels good with the song and stick with it. I guess the bass player is used to him switching and changing that way. Shout to the lead guitarist…. You found a funky,sticking groove that sit in the pocket and made it feel good.
For that tune ... how can you improve on the original drum groove...? If he had simply played that ...o well....
James Brown once said, nothing can beats good solid groove. In my world, no one can beat me holding a pocket and sticking a groove.
