- Ho hum. This disassembly is like so many other ones. Take all the screws out, pry a lot, pop!

Captive screws, that don't come out or fall on the floor or get lost or go in the wrong holes. They are a GOOD thing !
When held by circlips, yes! But these were not supposed to be held, they're just an accident of the metal flexing, so they could fall out anytime!
Thank you!
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me a lot!
It would be nice to know what era that PC is from, what OS it came with, size of HDD and memory etc.
It's not that old (2017). www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/dell-inspiron-15-5000-2-in-1
Hey just discovered your channel and you mentioned in the windows 11 video that you're working on a video of the rise and decline of UI. That was a year ago, where is that video? Not sure if you released it already or not.
I am working on it. I wasn't working on it as much back then as I am now. There's a ton of stuff that could go in it and picking what to show isn't the hard part; it's picking what to exclude or drop.
What's the point of the nvme drive? You mentioned that both could be installed. How do they work together? Why wasn't a nvme included?
Can this laptop run 32gb ram?

Man, I wouldn't shake screws over the open laptop with connected battery. Maybe it's just me, not an expert :)
I like living on the edge.
