Excellent work with the special effects and character development! I knew exactly why every character was there, and that's an accomplishment. Well done!
This was awesome, much more inventive and interesting than a majority of short films out there. The acting wasnt as cringey as a lot of the other short films too, it was actually really believable.
Saw this for AAHSFF and it was really good.Just one point of critique , though. I myself have made period piece short films many times in the past, and until I saw the description of this video, I never had any idea whatsoever that this was supposed to take place in the 1960s. The way I saw it was simply as a group of hipsters. Overall it was very well-made. My only other complaint is that some of the dialogue felt pretty heavy-handed in trying to have significance. At times it felt like some of the dialogue was pulled right out of an episode Full House. If some of it was a bit more subtle it could've been more impactful. Don't take this as me hating your film, take this as some advice from someone who enjoys making films himself. You can always get better.
Hey my school talked to you guys at the opening night party, didn't realize we were talking to the best overall film winners! Any-who I was wondering what you guys shot this on, it looks incredible! I'm tired of filming pasty shit, this stuff's incredible.
Dialogue didn’t remind me of full house at all. No, I would never compare it to Tim and Eric, i would say its essence was much more a movie ahead of its time, in that stranger things really took a lot from this. Quality film over all.
No words....just that good!
