HUGE credit to Generalisk for creating those faces I used on the flat screens, the textures for mr puzzles' faces are cropped as to fit onto his TV head nicely, but this means placing the faces on anything else always looks bad. He also created the 'please stand by' and 'no signal' faces for me.
Thanks to Musion for recreating the worried mr puzzles face from the movie.
Gonna place this video in the NO NULL SERIES playlist, its not really apart of it but i'd like to place this in a playlist somewhere.

This is what Puzzlevision should’ve been. This video really gives Mr. Puzzle an ominous vibe which really fits his character when he’s first introduced in It’s Gotta Be Perfect. A being that is willing to destroy the livelihood of others for his “Perfect” show.
This Animation Looks as good as SMG4 So much that it's scary, btw Mr Puzzles needs to come back!!!!

(Mario wakes up back at the showgrounds, not remembering what happened. He sees a destroyed pizza outside, remembering the infamous 2022 episode)
Mario: Everyone, I'm sorry for ruining your world record!
(Everyone turns to face him, but he notices that they're smiling and don't seem angry. Their smiles aren't the normal type either. They're more like the creepy emotionless sort of smile. Almost like corpses brought to life)
SMG4: (In a stiff almost robotic voice) Why would we be mad at you?
Meggy: Yeah, we love you Mario. We never want you to leave us.
Bob: Besides, you make us happy!
Tari: And why would we abandon you? We'd be devastated if you were left out.
(Mario could only feel weirded out by this as everyone seemed... friendlier today. He could get SMG4 and Tari acting nice, but Meggy acting nice after that incident? Their voices also sounded... off. They way they talked sounded too drawn out to really come off as natural. Something was up. Mario went to SMG3's cafe where things seemed even weirder. Karen was working, but she was also smiling like the others. She didn't seem to be grumpy at all. What was going on?)
Mario: Uh, Karen, is it just me or is something off about the others?
Karen: (Creepily stares at Mario's soul with an unnerving smile) Why do you ask? They seem perfectly fine. Why don't you get some coffee? (Mario looks to see everyone else in the cafe looking at him with these blank smiles)
SMG2: Yes Mario. You look tired. Why don't you just sit down and talk with us?
SMG1: Indeed fellow meme guardian. It's good to rest after a tiring day.
Kaizo: Would you like some cocoa to go with your coffee?
Karen: Isn't it fun being happy?
(Boopkins, Luigi, and Shroomy are playing baseball before turning to look at Mario)
Boopkins: Hey Mario, want to join us in a fun game?
Luigi: It'll make us really happy!
Shroomy: Being happy is great for your health!
(Mario is now officially freaked out. Something was just wrong with everyone. Their voices just sounded so lifeless and dull, almost like they were computers trying to simulate human speech patterns, but barely succeeding)
Mario: No thanks. I'm gonna go to the mall!
(At that point, Mario runs out and heads towards the mall, trying to rationalize the situation. Maybe everyone is just experiencing joy right now or perhaps they were sleep deprived while he wasn't. There had to be something going on. Everyone seemed off. It was like they were mindless robots. Hopefully, Melony could explain the situation. Once he arrived, he saw Melony hanging out with the anti cast, Luigi, SMG3, and Saiko reading manga)
Mario: Melony, useless side characters, 3, and Saiko! Everyone is acting so weird- (He gets cut off when they turn around to stare at him with the same blank smiles)
Melony: Hello Mario, would you like to join us in reading some manga?
Mario: What's going on?! You all are acting weird!
Kaizo: Weird? Mario, you must be experiencing stress. Come join us.
Saiko: Yes join us in reading amazing manga books.
Luigi: They'll help keep you happy by distracting you from reality.
Whimpu: Yes, join us and be happy. Studies say happiness increases your life expectancy
SMG3: The whole world is nothing but happiness.
Melony: Yes, happiness is the best medicine the lord can offer us!
Mario: (Nervously looks around) Uh, hey look at that, I gotta get back home! (He tries to run, but Luigi blocks him)
Luigi: Don't go. I made a dinner reservation with a special someone.
SMG3: Surely you wouldn't want to miss that would you?
(Mario's eyes widen)
Mario: Alright, I'll stay (He heads to the diner where Karen serves him spaghetti)
Mario: Can't wait to see my big date!
(A figure arrives at the table. It's Peach no longer mutated)
Peach: Hi Mario!
Mario: Hi Peach! (His eyes open wide as he is now freaking out even more. Not only did Peach have the same creepy smile and acting calmer than normal, but Mario remembered how last time she saw her, she mutated into a feral beast. How was she back to normal???)
Mario: Uh, Peach, why are you no longer a mutant? I thought we left you in the demonic goop! Also, why aren't you nagging at me?
Peach: What goop incident? Also, why would I yell at you? I love you since you make me happy.
(By this point, Mario can't take it and goes into a breakdown)
Mario: Stop please! This isn't making any sense! Why is everyone suddenly happy?! Karen, shouldn't you be grumpy? Why is Peach no longer a mutant?! Why is everyone acting all emotionless?! I am not happy at all!
(Everyone turns to look at Mario, but their smiles are gone and they're glaring at him. The glares weren't the angry type though. All of his friends were just glaring at him with these blank expressions as if they were corpses)
SMG4: Sorry Mario, but we are now forced to use this.
Mario: Wh- What's going on?! Have you all lost your mind!?
Meggy: Relax Mario, this is going to quick, but painful. After that you'll be happy like us. You'll forget your troubles.
Mario: I don't want to be stuck as a happy person! I want to have emotions!
Peach: But Mario, wouldn't you want to live in a utopia where you never have to worry about anything and stay with me? Your girlfriend?
Depresso: Come on Mario, join us and we can live in a place free of trauma. No more death, no angst. Nothing but happy happy joy joy [Yes, I did a Ren and Stimpy Reference right there].
Mario: No! I want things back to what they were! (He breaks free and watches as the crew now turn to look at him)
SMG4: We were afraid to do this (All of the crew members suddenly point their fingers at Mario and unleash screams that are more akin to sirens in an invasion of the body snatchers shoutout. Everyone in the mushroom kingdom begins chasing him all the while chanting "Imposter not Happy!" Mario hides behind a dumpster where he is grabbed by the real Tari who snuck into the digital simulation)
Mario: YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE! (The light in the room turns on as Mario sees Tari, but this Tari is actually showing emotion that isn't just happiness)

Mario: Okay, you are the real Tari since you aren't acting like a zombie. Anyway, what's going on?
(Clench activates)
Clench: Funny story...
Mario: (Surprised) HOLY SHIT YOUR HAND JUST TALKED!
Tari: Clench, stop! (Sighs in embarrassment) Mario, this is Clench, my talking arm. Clench, this is Mario.
Clench: Hi there.
Mario: Hello? Anyway, what's going on Tari? I was knocked out for a day and now everyone's gone crazy! It's like they're zombies!
Tari: Mario, you're in a simulation! You've also not been gone for days, but months. SMG4 and the crew have been on a long search party for you!
Clench: Yeah, they assumed you just went out to get spaghetti, but realized something bad must have happened to you when you didn't return for months!
Tari: Clench activated randomly so I went hiding for a bit. He detected you to be at some abandoned warehouse which I went to investigate. Inside, we saw a large set that looked like something on tv and your eyes were just static. Mr Puzzles wasn't around, but we knew he had something to do with your disappearance.
Tari: We realized Mr Puzzles trapped you in a simulation where everyone you know are alive and none of those arcs happened.
Mario: That explains why I saw Peach back to normal.
(They then hear crying on the other side and look into a mirror where the crew are looking for him)
Luigi: Brother, where are you?!
(Mario and Tari turn to look at each other before running out. They are soon cornered by the fake lookalikes of everyone with Tari coming face to face with her lookalike)
Fake SMG4: Going somewhere Mario?
Fake Meggy: Why the rush? You don't want to miss out on the fun do ya?
Fake Depresso: Yes, stay with us. We can do all sorts of fun.
Mario: I know what's going on! This is another one of the tv guy's tricks! You all are just fake lookalikes of my friends! I want to get out and see my real friends!
(The clones suddenly shift into a more angry sort of happy)
Fake Melony: (In a creepy monotone voice) Why do you wanna go back with them? They're just gonna treat you like crap.
Fake Tari: Yes like when they abandoned you for pizza.
Fake Melony: Or when I chewed you out for unintentionally killing Axol Jr...
Fake Swag: Here, you can be happy anytime and we won't berate you!
Fake Peach: Wouldn't you want to be in a world where we can agree on anything? No more unhappy endings. We can live life however we want
Fake Belle: So join us!
Mario: No! I know the real crew treat me like crap at times, but I know they do care for me in their own way! They went out of their way to save me from Zero and I repaid them by saving them from Lawyer Kong! I also know the real Peach nags at me, but I do care for her in my own way. I still can't forgive myself over the fact that me and my real friends left her to die in that goop. Yes, the real glitchy crew may be not be perfect and I might argue with them, but at least they are capable of understanding my anger and apologize for what they do. I'd rather be with friends who genuinely like me than fake programs who were just programmed to like me! It's better to be a free thinker full of emotions than just being happy all the time!
(The fake clones smiles turn to frowns as they slowly walk up to the crew. Their voices now become more robotic)
Fake Meggy: I'm sorry Mario, but we don't take no for an answer.
Fake Chris: Defective unit! Must eliminate!
(All of the fake crew members chant this as their eyes suddenly become red. A fight soon ensues...)
@@creeperplayz5742 (Mario and Tari are fighting off against the lookalikes. Mario uses his avatar powers to knock off a few of the clones while Tari turns her arm into a cannon to shoot at other fakes. A fake version of Meggy gets super close to Mario until Tari uses her arm cannon to blast the clone. Mario and Tari see part of the Meggy's clones skin torn off to reveal bits and circuits)
Mario: They're robots?!
Clench: Gee, what gave that away? The monotone voices?
(Suddenly, the Meggy bot reincorporates its flesh-like armor to continue capturing Mario)
Tari: Mario I don't think we can destroy them!
Mario: (Uses a brainblast and comes up with a plan) Brainblast! Tari, can you use your powers to blast us out of the simulation?
Tari: Well, I could but that would take too long!
Mario: Alright! So, here's what we'll do! I'll distract the creepy robot clones as much as I can so you can start up your teleporter! You power up that teleportation device as fast as you can!
(Mario grabs the attention of the robot lookalikes)
Mario: Hey over here! you guys want me? Come and catch me! (Runs off)
Fake Peach: Get him and don't let him get away!
(The robot lookalikes chase Mario, but they prove to be quite slow which allows the red plumber to get the upper hand)
Mario: You can't catch me!
(Tari's teleportation device is unfortunately going too slowly to work)
Tari: Mario, do another brainblast thing! My teleporter is taking too long!
Mario: (As he runs he sees a river and comes up with a bigger plan) Brain blast again! (Gets Real Tari's attention) Real Tari, I'm gonna lure the robots to that river there so they can short circuit! The voltage might be enough to power that thing! I know it's a big risk, but it's our only shot!
Real Tari: Alright!
(Real Tari runs to the other side of the river without the robots noticing her and hides behind a tree. Mario soon jumps to the other side of the river as the robots follow him)
Mario: Hey buckets of bolts, I'm right here!
(The robot lookalikes go right towards Mario, oblivious to the water they're about to walk into)
Robot lookalikes: (Chanting) You will be happy! You will be happy!
(Soon enough, all the robot lookalikes walk into the water, causing a massive shockwave of electricity)
Mario: NOW TARI!
(Tari puts her hand into the water and she experiences a massive shock, but ends up surviving and the teleporter machine is now at full power)
Real Tari: It worked! The teleporter is at full power!
Mario: Alright, let's blow this joint! (They hear crawling as they see the robot clones slowly walking with their fleshy parts now destroyed, revealing tons of wires and circuitry)
robot clones: Capture him! No more sadness!
Mario: LET'S GET OUT OF HERE NOW!
(Tari activates her teleportation device and they escape the simulation. The robot clones can only look at where they once stood)
Robot SMG4: Don't worry. They only escaped the inevitable.
Robot Meggy: I love happy endings.
(Mario and Tari are now back in the real world as the red plumber is just happy that he is now back with his friends. He turns to see the crew in the factory and runs up to them in tears)
Mario: GUYS YOU ALL ARE BACK! I MISSED YOU!

(He notices that the four are having a book club meeting with Funky Kong [who is now Lawyer Kong], Francis, Depresso, and Niles, Waluigi)
Mr Monitor: Oh hey Mario. We were just having our annual book club meeting!
Chris: Why don't you sit down and join us?
Depresso: Yes, we are reading some interesting stories.
Swag: Did you bring any interesting books for us?
Mario: No! I demand to know what's going on! Why are you four hanging with them? Did you forget that Francis nearly kidnapped Meggy? Or how Lawyer Kong nearly DMCA'd you all? Or how about when Waluigi started a T pose apocalypse? And how is Niles here? He only existed in Melony's head and tried to destroy our world!
(All eight couldn't help but laugh at what Mario said)
Niles: What are you talking about? When did I ever do that! We've all been friends!
Francis: Lawyer Kong has been telling us about this amazing book! It features a young woman who must find a way to marry her rival family's boyfriend! A modern take on Romeo and Juliette!
Lawyer Kong: It is so heartwarming! You should bring a book for us to read!
Waluigi: Yeah, any new novels for us to read?
(At this point, Mario was beyond weirded out. It was weird seeing Karen being cheerful, it was weirder how Meggy didn't yell at him, and it was bizarre seeing Peach back to normal. However, this was where Mario drew the line. Seeing his comrades and mortal enemies being friends with each other)
Mario: But Meggy was turned into a human and you four villains nearly killed us and- (Cut off by Hal Monitor)
Hal Monitor: You're probably thinking of another show.
Niles: Yes, come on, be happy. It's never fun to be unhappy.
(All eight in unison) Join us Mario!
Mario: Uh, would you look at the time, I gotta feed Yoshi!
I wish they actually had something like this in the actual movie
The fact that Mr. Puzzles would rather disintegrate to ash than work with Mario to solve an issue Mario usually solves in his games really sums up his pettiness. I wanna see where this goes next.
Speaking of which, how did Mario not become brainwashed?
He escaped from the tv during the gameshow when mr puzzles sent him into a no no zone cage (& placed it outside of the tv border)
When he got desperate for 5 stars, he dropped all the gameshow modes into the tv which caused the tv to start glitching (& also free mario during the process)

I love this, both the creative control animatic and this gmod animation made me speechless
This kinda leads to a theory that Mr Puzzles still has them trapped in a simulation. He's intentionally gaslighting them into thinking they are now free from his terror. Mr Puzzles already finalized the episodes before Mario corrupted them, explaining why we see characters like Karen in the shows even though she was never targeted by Puzzles personally.
This ties in with another theory that Mr Puzzles was lying about why he wanted the crew. He didn't find their show to be stupid, but he knew that all of those characters were popular meaning they could help him make money by profiting off their adventures.
There's another fact I should mention. Remember how Mr Puzzles states that Puzzlevision is an in universe show made to satisfy his programming's audience. The question is, who could this audience be? Well, prepare for a deep analysis, because the audience he's referring to are US, the viewers. Ever since IGTBP, Puzzles has been hijacking the channel and inspecting us to see what we enjoy about these characters. That's why he brought them to the showgrounds was so he could put them in a place where they are unknowingly under his control. He's setting SMG4 and his crew up for danger because it's entertainment, specifically entertainment he knows the audience will consume. Mr Puzzles hired One Shot Wren and Marty to start of WS and WOTFI 2023 as specials for us to consume, not caring about how the characters were affected mentally. Mr Puzzles wanted to see why these characters resonate with us to see if we would like the specials. We loved these specials which allowed him to control the channel, but Mr Puzzles failed to understand the bigger reason we resonate with these characters.
If you thought it was over, the rabbit hole goes even deeper because I think the Mario we saw wasn't the real one. Rather, it is an imposter of Mario that Mr Puzzles made so no one would question his absence. Mr Puzzles based this Mario off of how he believed the crew viewed him; a wild unpredictable animal. The real Mario is still out there fighting off Mr Puzzles because he knows the war isn't over yet. Mr Puzzles probably took over the world already before the events of WOTFI 2023 and is just gaslighting the crew

I kinda do wish in the movie, Mario could have treat Mr.Puzzles more like a threat than a pushover. This alternative route is great 👍
Mario: Look, I know how scary life can be, but this is the wrong way of going it! You should realize that you're forcefully turning these innocent people into mindless drones! You need to understand, everything isn't always gonna be sugar spice and everything nice! There will always be terrible moments, but those shouldn't determine our worth. We should remember that there will be hope in the future!

Mario: Well yes, they have at times, but I know they still like me and want to apologize for their actions. They did leave me before, but I risked my life to save them during the DMCA thing. You can't do this to everyone! It's violating basic human rights! These people and everyone I love are innocent.
Mr Puzzles: You know the way they treated you at times reminded me of my father which makes me hate them more.
Mario: You were abused by your father? I understand how that could affect you, but that doesn't justify taking your anger out on others!
Mr Puzzles: Maybe. Maybe not. I honestly don't even remember my past. Not that it matters.
Mario: I've seen guys like you who want a perfect world, but I am trying to make you realize that perfection isn't a healthy obsession. You need to realize that you're doing the wrong thing!
Mr Puzzles: Me? DOING WRONG?! Please, you're just too stubborn to realize how cruel reality can be. With my powers, I can help people become better. No more sadness, no more anger. Just pure happiness!
Mario: That's the problem. It's not healthy to constantly be happy. It's okay to be happy, but there's a time and place where sometimes it's okay to feel sad or angry. Those are natural emotions. You can't force people to act how you'd like them to. It's better to life in a world where stuff constantly changes than one where everything in monotonous and repetitive. I understand you have somewhat good intentions, but, please, you need to realize that you aren't doing it in a good way.
(Mr Puzzles is pondering on that for a bit, but refuses the chance to redeem himself)
Mr Puzzles: Shut up! I see what you're doing! You're trying to tell me that I'm wrong and you're right! I ain't falling for it!

Somehow, this 5 minute fanmade short is better than a full length movie made by professionals! At least this one didn’t have plot holes and an anticlimactic ending. Only flaw is that there was no musical number.

The movie was alright, but it definitely felt rushed. This helps give Mr Puzzles a unique characterization of wanting to make a perfect utopia where everyone is happy
@@SorielHDTBers nah like fR they did the puzzle vision arc dirty 💀 the only part I could say I enjoyed was the western spaghetti mini arc cause not only it had ties to puzzle vision but it had ties to meggy’s arc back in 2019 which really helped connect things 😭 the smg4 its gotta be perfect mini arc was also kind of rushed ngl and the Marty mini arc was alr since it was made to be comedic and not at all to be taken seriously…but men they really dumbed down puzzle vision, should’ve maybe made the puzzle vision series longer

How did you do the voice for mr puzzlevision?
He actually voiced Mr Puzzles himself, he's done some amateur roles on Casting Call Club before and successfully got the role of Endo #1 on the Five Night's At Freddy's World Reanimated project before it unfortunately got cancelled.

So basically this is a mix of a more classic style of SMG4 animation, bad writing for Mario (his dialogue feels forced), and a whole lot of the Creative Control animatic by Opossol just shoved in this.
And it doesn't make much sense with what SMG4 has created in canon. It works in Opossol's work because it's supposed to be a prequel separate from the SMG4 crew's plot, but it doesn't work with the build-up SMG4 made in the Puzzlevision arc since this this is a completely different story inserted in this entirely different context without much thought.
So, sorry to say this, but besides the animation this is pretty bad. The Portal reference is great and could have been in the actual SMG4 show, but that's also something taken from Opossol's animatic.
Maybe it could have been better if you used your own ideas instead of relying so much on Opossol's work. The way you just just shoved it into the current story doesn't work in my opinion.

No Null took it and placed it within the Puzzlevision's arc, and it makes no sense in its context. And also that doesn't excuse the forced dialogue for Mario.
@@writer6659 Yes it is. No Null titled it an "Alternate Route". If you make an alternate route, you have to really think about the events of that route.
If he titled it "Animation practice", I would have no problem with it, but he didn't.

I appreciate constructive feedback, but this is just meant to be a fun animation recreating Creative Control, so I'm sort of confused as to why you're thinking so deeply about it? It says in the title that this is a remake, so its also weird that you point out how a lot of elements are borrowed from that animation, considering that's the whole point. But i appreciate that this isn't just a hate comment.
