I think they have multiple different questions prepared depending on how the person is doing and if they decided to actually go for the million dollar question. The questions are always easy when the person drops out.
You've seen Meghen Miles, the Ph.D. student, reach the Million Dollar Question. This time, Meghen's dad, Rev. Rick, reaches the Million Dollar Question, but decides to fold at $500,000.
Finally! A brand new primetime episode! Thank you very much!

Theat priest knew the million dollar question for both him AND his daughter, and STILL he is forced to say he's not smarter than a 5th grader xd
Father Rick Miles wanted redemption & to redeem the family name.
He did by winning 20 times more then what Megan won.
Doesn't anyone agree with me?
39:46 I can tell she new the answer cause she said in her last appearance that music was her favourite subject
Both father and daughter are smart.
Hold up. The fourth grade question… one of the “harder ones”… was asking how many eyes a cyclops has.

Stop being a spoiler, we want to find out ourselves.
How do they choose the contestants? Is it stage? it's so unfair to the others.
How can two person from a family participate within such a short period, what about those who are waiting for a long time.
