I’d HIGHLY recommend not using angel numbers and instead use Hebrew and Greek strong! It is so much more precise and filled to the brim with intent where angel numbers are pretty trivial. Andie- there’s a huge difference between narcissism and somebody with narcissistic personality disorder. NPD is no joke. It is the worst abuse imaginable that kills a person’s soul. So, personally, don’t appreciate riddles. I do not appreciate trying to figure the state of confusion out for so long. But I will never get all the answers I so badly needed at one point. Fact is a person has no choice but to try to release it without the clarity so desperately needed for peace of mind.

This reading def hit home for me.. I am going through all this, and seeing the reality, the truth before me. The people in my life currently, spouse included-he’s the other energy you’re talking about, all have narcissistic traits, I am very familiar with NPD having a mother who is a true narcissist, I cut her off years ago once I started to awaken and see what was really going on. Sadly all the hurt, pain, sadness, loss, gaslighting, and all the other narc traits have been my biggest teacher, I know deep down I will prevail and move on from this toxic relationship and environment, it’s not an easy task however I’m ready for whatever comes as I know my power now.

That popped into my head near the end of the reading, after you pulled the initiation card.
This reading was intense for me. I resonated with almost everything that came through to the point my jaw was on the floor. What's funny is that I did pass the bar exam and was ignorant for a long time about someone in my life (REM rules!) - (although I knew who this person was, I felt that I couldn't be in my own power around them, I had to make myself small to maintain the status quo). I feel that I have been in an internal battle with this person my whole life and because of who they are in my life, I was told by this person what my worth was...which was always below them. I have recently found my voice and realized that this person has kept me in a cage afraid of me flying away and taking away their ability to capitalize and take credit for the person I have become (which has been a lot of internal spiritual work which has led me to realize the internal power I have in myself that I never thought I had.) This is so divinely appointed at this most divine timing in my life. As I journey thru my ascension I have had an individual, who's energy is that of Narcissus, reach out and grab my attention. Thankfully only holding it for a brief moment rather than wreaking havoc for months as before. Their energy is chaos and they are truly struggling thru life in a very dangerous way. In cases of genuine narcissistic abuse, there are ways you can feed their supply without interacting, they can impact you through family and friends. You are lucky to have never encountered a legit narcissist, particularly in childhood. Please be mindful that there are loads of narcissists in the new age community spreading misconceptions like this which victim blames and allows them to feed.

I had the most beautiful dream recently and I thought of it several times throughout the reading.

Not sure why, but rant on: You touched on something very important. What folks should remember is that true narcissists love themselves more than anything, and thus may do harmful things to others with no regard to anyone but themselves. But most... "abusers" hurt others because they have been hurt themselves, and more so, they severely dislike themselves. This excuses nothing and, like flight instructions, one always needs to look after oneself' safety first, but it sets most... negative people apart from true narcissists. It's a term that is used far too easily these days, and anyone hurt tends to lash out, so is easily a target to such a term. Let's remember that true narcissism is a pretty serious dark trait of someone who is psychiatrically troubled and truly feels no empathy for others. People who lash out because they feel deficient in some way, or out of control, can't be narcissists by definition, because they care about how people perceive them. However, never stay in an abusive situation, no matter how much you comprehend the cause or the pain underneath. One can only help an other when one can help oneself. Rant off. x)
I don’t understand the difference. Beneath any narcissistic behavior is pain and trauma and the psychological problems were born from that place. They may not be conscious of how they have reacted to their pain but living on autopilot like a lizard. I don’t think that there is a human on earth with the kind of lack of soul you describe. We shouldn’t hold our breath’s for their spiritual awakening though. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re trying to communicate.
What you’re saying is correct. And it is hard to see this in a person that you care about. You don’t want them to be like this, but everyone reacts different to childhood trauma. The person I know became a narcissist. I became an empath. There is nothing that I can do because they will never acknowledge what they have become.

@@IcelandicFaerie13 Unfortunately there are. They are called psychopaths and sociopaths for example. Those are not simply psychological conditions, they are psychiatric conditions. People are born like that. Narcissism is a very common trait here, but these conditions do not stem from trauma. Like the pre-serial-ender-kid who enjoys squishing small animals. They are mental conditions people come into this world with. Hence I believe we should stop calling every nasty ex or selfish traumatized person a narcissist. My point remains; If the bad behavior stems from trauma, it isn't narcissism. It's selfishness and probably a skewed form of self-protection. A true narcissist won't have too much trouble admitting it either. They only care about themselves. Not about the opinion of someone else, whether one agrees with them or not.
Please google narcissism in relation to childhood trauma, self-worth, and self-love/self-hate. Narcissism almost always comes from childhood trauma, and they most certainly do not love themselves. Anything resembling self-love is a facade to cover up their deep insecurities and deeply buried self-hate.

Girl! I feel like this is a message for me: my birthday is 8/31, year 69. The narcissist in my life is my mother- a Sagittarius. I am currently writing my second book, the first one is about to be published, it’s my story about letting my mother go. A-yup. It took multiple years to emerge out of the dark night of the soul, but spirit has called me to make art and share it for even longer. I'm finally in a place now where I feel brave enough to get started on a big project.
Prior to my dark night, a "friend" with narcissistic traits tried to take credit for my success. It's taken me so long to feel ready for this journey because I didn't want to be like her, and I needed to spend a long time in hermit mode to heal the wounds she left on my heart.
She's no longer in my life, so I'm not worried about her trying to undercut my confidence anymore, but the memory of her energy has definitely been bubbling up as I embark on this new project. All of those old "what if"s are resurfacing, but I know that I'm divinely protected. Spirit has been calling and calling and calling me to this path for a reason. I can trust spirit and myself to stay safe - and if something happens, I'll handle it.

By the way, my birthday is August 31st, I am a writer, and I am in the “writing stages” of a poetry book… Lately I became friends with a girl and she introduced me to her husband, who is a theologian and philosopher. They are both Christian. I like them, but felt like we are on different wavelengths, especially me and her husband. It felt like we are talking with a completely different language. Actually, that meeting triggered a lot of thought in me and made me face parts of my shadow, because I saw things in him that I did not like. For example, this typical Christian attitude of thinking your way is better than other people’s ways & having some sort of dogma that you yourself don’t even follow but you preach to others (hypocrisy). He made some comments about the fact that I’ve taken psychedelics and had spiritual experiences through drugs that rubbed me the wrong way. Talked a lot and generally seemed really sure of his view and his stance. I came out of it in a very unsettled state. Feeling closed down, feeling like I need to re-center and focus on expressing the truth of my soul rather than following dogmas or rules just because they might remove ambiguity from life. I became grateful for my life the way it is, my partner the way he is, and felt like I need to be careful to not become too much like this theologian, and eventually I realized that how he presented himself is my shadow that was showing up as being closed up to ambiguity and to other people’s views and being so sure that my way is the right way. I had this massive fear about saying what I truly think and believe in, in case they would say that I am “operating from the Devil”. I will invite them to my place next week but I decided I’ll leave my tarot cards in plain view. I’m not going to hide who I am just to be accepted. If they don’t like it, then they don’t have to engage with me. But I also won’t judge them by the label of “Christian” and I’ll be curious about their beliefs, because that’s how I want people to approach me in the first place. I talked with this guy about my struggles to find paying work and he suggested I become a ghost writer. He didn’t offer anything to me but the whole time I felt a certain encroaching energy, exactly this constricting energy you described, like he is there to “reform” me and to “show me the truth” when in fact I have had my own journey towards the truth and I want to share what I have learned on my own path and continue to discover through my experience in my own way. It all made me realize I need to be true to myself, to my voice, to my Being, to my soul, otherwise I will be consumed by other people, by dogmas, by energies, by theories. So I cannot give up on my creativity and my writing out of fear or limiting beliefs. I need to allow what’s inside of me to come out, regardless of what other people think, whether or not they approve, sometimes even regardless of what I think. Wow this reading was pretty wild for me. It immediately caught my eye when I saw the title and I clicked it out of curiosity but I didn't think it would resonate like it did. It was quite cryptic for me at first but then it started to make sense. That song you said was also sampled in Katy Perry's song 'Swish Swish' which I randomly thought about last night and as soon as the reading mentioned the sample I made the connection and revisited the lyrics for that too. The song infamously references Katy Perry's feud with Taylor Swift and keeping receipts which related to when you heard the sound of paper rustling. For me, I feel this is a metaphor for what I went through earlier this year when I was in a tight friendship circle and it fell apart unexpectedly. I also found out that they were using me for what I could provide for them and take credit for it. I believe this disorder needs to be introduced and addressed in assemblies at school, so that young girls as early as 12yr have some knowledge of what to look for to protect themselves. I feel it is vital due to the dangerous increase in personality disorders since social media was introduced.
The teachers should have the maturity to handle those issues on an individual basis rather than letting young children fend for themselves without guidance. making people aware of disorders they may not have may placebo them into thinking they do have it which is just perpetuating the problem. half the time as a kid, if I had a proper role model to emulate, it was much easier to fit in and ignore my own issues. proper parenting should be taught to parents so they teach their kids instead of buying them a phone and letting that do it for them.

A few days ago, the same thing came to me out of the blue. Spirit told me that if I still feel like I need a deeper understanding of my life experiences relating to the essence of "narcissism", then I could go back to mythology and the various interpretations passed down through the generations. Plan to revisit the old stories of Narcisse(?) and loving his reflection in the water (its been many many years since I even thought about that story? time I read it).
