shout out to every single person that helped power level him. while rav might not be a long time wow player the community really got together to support this event.
He did all of this with just a dozen videos (for us outside) and some good natured fun (on the inside). That's what most wholesome in the whole thing.

I honestly was so immersed into the story that i actually thought i was there.
Your dedication to level another character back to 60 in 34 hours was insane.

I cannot actually explain the amount of dopamine these videos provide me. I've been in a pretty bad place mentally with all the stuff that's happened in recent years. Getting out of the military, Counseling has been a huge part of my life. But honestly, coming home from work and watching Rav's wow videos and starting playing hardcore/ SOD has really opened up a new chapter for me weirdly enough. Him and asmongold have been GOLD in giving me laughs lately. I've met a lot of friends along the way in both servers as well and that really helps my mental health. Thank you Rav, and thank you to everyone I've met so far along my journies as well

What an amazing ride from start to finish. I've never played WoW before but the plotline of Rav the Avatar got me hooked. Honestly, for as long as I've been watching here on RUclips, I can barely think of a series that has put me through such an emotional rollercoaster. 1000% one of the best content creator on this platform from video editing, script, and the character you play as. Awesome. Just absolutely awesome. Can't wait for more content, whether it be the game we all hate and love (league of trashcans) to a game many of us want more of (chad WoW). I haven’t cared about Wow or watched it my entire life, but rav had me super invested and I’m almost sad to see the series end.
This series has all the nostalgia, we all had for Vanilla WoW. Took all our unique experiences with the game from our first playthrough. This captured that amazing feeling of story and adventure that we all yearned for when Classic was announced.
You have captured that feeling and created a unique experience that will be remembered just as fondly throughout the years. You provided us all with that feeling that Classic nostalgia alone, was not able to fully fulfill.

I'm a grown ass man 28 years old and never played WoW before and I was getting crazy emotional. I been with Rav since a few months after he started RUclips and hes one of the best and most unique content creators out there! So glad are people are starting to realize just how good he is.

I really hope this journey and series skyrockets you up the charts, Rav!!! I waited for this video day to day and finally seeing the finished product, I realized I got way too invested lol. Teared up and laughed multiple times in the span of 20 minutes. Rav the Avatar is also an emotion bender!!! I'm sad it's over but hey, the series doesn't have to end there if you don't want it to!!! There can always be a sequel or season 2, and I'm just glad you broke away from the toxic League community, even if just briefly! I'm still working on that myself, as I love League but hate the community... Bravo, Rav!!!
Possibly one of the greatest World of Warcraft pieces of creator content that has ever been released. Oxhorn, Lv70Tauren Chieftan, etc. This series has been up there with some of the greatest, and an incredible finale. Here's to hoping that you aren't done with World of Warcraft, Rav. League might miss you, but WoW would miss you more.

Wait. This can't be the end. They still need to do BWL, AQ, and all the other raids. NO RAV! DON'T STOP HERE!
Its not that the content itself is that hard, but you easily can die. No prob in softcore, but you cant always do a powerleveling session as shown in this vid for every dead player. Eventually youll run out of geared chars. Especially hunter is the worst class out there to survive, because they are totally dependend on others. E.g. Ret Palas can bubble, an off warri has shield and shieldwall etc. Hunter doesnt have any meaningful tools (deterence doesnt really work as in retail) besides a healthpot every 2 mins.
Sure would be entertaining to see, but he already died on a pre raid quest, so obviously a raid provides more hidden "features" you can die from. :D
Well series has to end at some point. Maybe there would be some funny dungeons or outside quest lines left to do some cool stuff, but even then I don't think this means he wouldn't go to BWL just that he might not make a video about it (or he might, but who knows if they have big wipe there, which means not much stuff to make a video about).
Dunno if this guy deleted his post, but just to differentate:
#1 there is leveling, where hunter obviously is op because of feign death and a tanking pet and there is
#2 raiding, where the pet does sh*t and is no help at all besides some pulls. Blizz did its "best" to make them unusable for raids. @ Feign death: still useful, but doesnt mitigate incoming damage, so aoe effects will still kill you. Hunter has no good healing and mitigating abilities in Classic. If there is a problem and the heals have to go crazy, you dont have any chance to self heal. Hunters will die first.
Obviously you NEVER did raid at all, otherwise you would know this.
Can't describe how well done the pp part was. 8:14 The suspense is so reminiscent of people's experience in WoW. When you came across a (somewhat shady) person that takes you through some crazy ish while you wondering to yourself "bro you've done this before right? we' won't die?" The vague replies like "yea np" or a similar reply is so iconic lol. also them being a gnome just made it more funny

I remember back in 2019 I got back into classic, that was one of my most fun years playing any game, wow builds a community so well, its designed to do so. Glad you enjoyed the leveling experience too and make a story out of it.
broo that shit was so f*cking good. i cant believe it turned out to be even more epic than it was going to be in first place. the ups, the down, the fun and eventually the brutal defeat one hair away from the finish line. you were so close. i could have never moved on after this heartbreaking death, would feel completely hopeless and defeated. but not you, you saw there was still a chance to make it. even though it was only a slim chance, you were not about to give up no matter what. and then you actually pulled off the most insane grind ever. man the dedicated and perserverance, insane. im sure that took some serious work/effort, manpower and teamwork. like hats off to you, you have my respect. extremely impressive. the whole series was a real masterpiece. cant get much better, when it comes to youtube content. congratz. 🔥🔥

a bit about hunter pets for non wow players: (spoilers)
hunters have to tame a pet and then level it up with them by getting xp, with the pet actually fighting stuff. you can't just have him passive at your side to lvl him with the mob tagging. the highest lvl black boars in the game are lvl 10, or one rare spawn that's lvl 50 (and can take days to find). so at lvl 60, lvling a pet from 10 to 60 is very time consuming, which is why Rav had to tame the grey boar that was already lvl 60 for the raid.
so at the end Rav is lvl 60 with a lvl 9 or 10 baby Howard that will have to be releveled to 60. totally worth it. what a great story!
I legit cried 3 times and laughed too many times to count… what a masterpiece of a story inside the game I have played for decades… truly amazing!!!
