Solo Camping on a Deserted Island

- Join on me on this gorgeous sea paddle and solo camping adventure to what I call "Turtle Island".
Came to Bahamas to visit my parents who live here. Couldn't say no to another adventure.
With minimal camping gear onboard, some basic safety equipment, a little food and 5 litres of fresh water, I set off on a 8km sea kayak paddle to the Island.
Enjoy the healing, soothing beautiful sounds of nature. Lapping waves, crickets serenading and the crackle of the fire... relaxing under the stars, enjoying some high quality solitude in one of the most beautiful of places.

I watched again on my other account. Enjoyed again!
What a star double thank you mate ❤️
We really enjoyed this video Eze. It’s true, we all benefit from being outdoors and it’s good to notice the simple things in life which are often free don’t you think ? I (Selina) also collect rubbish from our local beaches when out on our walks, it’s incredible what you find but for me party balloons 🎈 are the worst thing. Thanks for another inspiring video, we are always so pleased we found your channel, Tim & Selina
Right on guys!! Thanks for the positivity, which I'm resonating right back to you guys!!
Keep up the good work and enjoying the outdoors! Much Love,
Eze

THANKS FOR SHARING
❤️❤️💛💛💚💚💙💙
Thanks for watching!
Go on duuuude
hahah thanks brother!!
You inspired me to kayak to a local island here in South Florida and clean is up a little. Managed to fill a 13 gallon bag and found two other bags filled by someone else but left behind. Managed to take it all out.
Wow that's so awesome !!! Well done you!!! That makes me so happy in 2 ways: 1) that you got out on an adventure and 2) that you cleaned up a ton of rubbish. Hopefully someone saw you and you may have inspired someone in turn!
Absolutely love this video
Wow thanks brother! 👊
Of all my favorite RUclipsrs I watched tonight, you were the only one not camping under a tarp, at -25°C, somewhere in Canada 😆
Great video Eze! Thanks
Hahah yeah I was looking at that... seeing what everyone else was putting out and was like.... hmmmmm ok this is different... lol.
Thanks for watching brother!
Thats the way to adventure eze, I had to laugh when you were collecting fire wood, the famous saying came to mind. Your guna need a big boat 🤣🤣. Pity you had to still clear up people’s rubbish tho. Keep up adventuring. Maxxx
Hahah yeah luckily I responsibly gave my lifejacket to the firewood to hold it all in place lol... Wasn't too much rubbish on this one and always feels awesome to leave it better than finding it :-) - Thanks for watching max as always!
Great video
Thanks Don!!
Wowww good job
Thank you!
Another brilliant video Eze. Such a fantastic location, a wee bit different from Affric eh? Less midges for sure 😆 Great channel bud thanks for sharing.
Nice one mate thanks so much! Glad you tuned in for this adventure, yeah big contrast with Scotland for sure!! I ended up being too hot to sleep lol! Keep adventuring !
What a beautiful island, really enjoy how you stop everything to appreciate any animal, mammal, insect or scenery you come across and share that with us. Thank you for helping to keep the island clean from rubbish. This kind of living is perfect, actually no it’s a necessity for healthy mind, body and soul. Great video Eze 😊
Thank you!!! Totally agree re healthy mind, body and soul - we've lost our way unfortunately in this modern society and we need to try get back to our roots..!!
Best video yet really enjoyed it. How do you find time to go away 😁
Thanks David! Appreciate that!
So my parents live in Bahamas and we managed to go with the family to visit them. Then I escaped 1 night 😂
That mangrove wood is the best ever for friction fire. try it sometime if you have not before.
aaaah didn't know that - thanks for telling me, I'll give it a play next time!! Really would love to learn that skill someday!
@@EzeAdventurer bring some back and have some of your buddies try it. who was it that went on the Canadian trip recently he does friction fire.
@@downeastprimitiveskills7688 I gotta bring some back next time!
Another beautiful Eze adventure 👍. I like what you said about noticing your emotions. I too pay a lot of attention to mine, and can see a striking difference depending on my location, exactly as you described it. With that in mind I keep searching and experimenting for ways to create some bliss even when I’m in a funk. I’ve had some modest successes, but still working on it.
Hey buddy thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate you sharing your own thoughts on this. What works for you? I try to get out on walks, that seems to help 😀. Any tips welcome ! It’s amazing how huge of a shift in emotions and feelings we can experience with a change of location.
@@EzeAdventurer I’m also on a quest to reduce anxiety. Here’s where I’m at so far…
When I’m wild camping, or sitting atop a mountain, or reclining by a pool on a hot summer’s afternoon, my internal vibe feels… calm? composed? blissful? These words felt accurate until I typed them, but I think you know what I mean.
In any event, I’ve identified that during such experiences my entire sense of self improves: my energy is boosted, my food intolerances disappear, I even become more sociable and laugh more; in contrast to my normal grumpy self.
*So here’s my insight:* I’ve been meditating for a number of years. Despite that I’d never really felt significant benefits until about a year ago. Now, in random moments during meditation I’m able to capture some of that bliss vibe. When I achieve it I get that same sense of wellbeing in my body. So I now intentionally affirm my meditations for that bliss, and it works, intermittently. It’s not as potent as wild camping. It’s the ‘low-res’ emotion of a wild camp. Not perfect but good enough. If you have any tips I’m all ears 😊👍
Very qualitative and inspiring video. Thank you for leading by example in removing plastic from nature. friendly from france
Thanks so much and sending you best wishes my French 🇫🇷 friend!! A bientot!
Hey Guy i know that island like the back of my hand coral harbor area it was my back yard growing up, nice video... also just out of curiosity at 18m 15s while you are at the fire there is a glow and seems like smoke coming from the tree, almost looks like a spirit lol
What a beautiful little island no? You must have very fond memories growing up and enjoying this area!! Hahah yeah that weird light is some kind of effect my the camera lens when filming !
That looks like a blast! I never even thought of tripping in the warmer parts of the world. Great video!👍
Adventure is everywhere! 😂
This is like my ideal kayak camping trip, nice one!
Glad you like it Stevie mate! Yeah was such a beautiful little adventure, really enjoyed it!

Hey there bud!! Thanks I really appreciate that!! That's what it's all about, getting outside the comfort zone and getting that reward! Happy adventuring brother!
Haha nice man glad to know you made it safely and also inspired me to post on youtube… 😎
Awesome one bother was nice to meet you and your partner. Look forward to seeing your stuff!
Love that island! ☺️
It's a special one!!! 🥰
Cool adventure!!
Gracias godaaaa!!
Hi Eze, congratulations for your channel and greetings from Yucatan. I have been with this solo camping via SUP or kayak and finally that moment has arrived, so I prefer the Inflatable SUP for easy transport and I like the board a little bit more, but I wanto to know what do you prefer? if you have a strong preference for the kayak let me know. Thanks in advance.
Hey man! The SUP is definitely more transportable so that's a big plus. I guess the kayak gives you more protection too and perhaps more suited for longer expeditions, where you'd likely be carrying quite a lot of weight. In the end, use whatever enables you to get out there and have an adventure! The gear doesn't really matter :-)
Thank you very much@@EzeAdventurer
Looks like a horrible place, not jealous at all 😂
18:14 looks like the tree is smoking green
Nothing like drying you feet by the fire 😂
What a beautiful camp! Would love to visit these islands, thanks for sharing it mate
Absolutely horrible haha
I knowww I saw that when I was editing and was like... WTF? Couldn't figure out what the heck was going on! Didn't see it in person though so maybe a light thing with the camera?
One day maybe we can do proper long expedition there.. would be amazing to do the exumas islands by canoe... but maybe quite a few open crossings... lol
No one knows for sure IF someone iS SOLO!
I guess you never know for sure!
