Great set from MRS. The “On Fire in Toledo” release from MRS is out in green and pink vinyl variants. Another great release to hear some unreleased ‘56 live material on.⚡️
A single MRS *CD Release* (in a simple Cardboard Sleeve) is also available! An absolutely GREAT & BRILLIANT Sound-Quality from MRS👌 Thank You John and Jamie!
The sound is leaps and bounds better than before. If you only get an MP3 download of 'Witchcraft/ Love Me Tender', then do that (or I am thinking of the 'On Television' set? - Can't remember, now!!).
Wasn't the "Gold" Vinyl Pressing of "Golden Records 2" a canadian one...?! Thanks for the Review on "Welcome Home Elvis" as I remember; the superb Sound-Quality (complete Timex Sinatra TV Show) was from Sammy Davis Jnr personal Collection😉 Thanks John and Jamie!
I think MRS is now better ftd there packaging is far more interesting, as for the dress blues Elvis wore on the show I saw them yesterday at the London exhibition
So now we have two versions of this show - FTD and MRS. All very cool but more money!! That was so funny about you coloring the gold LP with a black sharpie :-) Reminded me of what I did to my father's stamp album when I was a kid - ripped out the dirty little bits of paper....fortunately I was caught before too many stamps disappeared. Did you find that photo of me you requested? On my community page. Feel free to lift it if you want to use it, although I can't imagine why you would want to!!
- - - - - - - - - - Elvis just towers of frank, both in stature and vocally. frank comes across really plain. one of the inside photos looks like it's either an obtuse angle or someone cropped frank to be on par with elvis' height.

Of all the Elvis channels on RUclips I find yours the most informative and interesting. Superb video as usual!
Just wonderful to see the two legends together in any format, Jamie! Great packaging! 👌👍😊
That is cool, especially if the sound is improved. Beautiful little set

Excellent review guys. I will have to get it now. Isn't it a shame that Dean Martin was not on the show?

I have the Memphis Mansion and have been happy with it. This version looks sharp. How much better does it sound?

Elvis was at the peak of his powers in 1960, Frank was sliding into his more complacent years.
