- Decluttering: Welcome to my homemaking motivation video where I take you on a Tour of my Tiny Mobile Home. My old trailer is 455 square feet. To get my mobile home in better condition I had to do a living room makeover. My small mobile home may not be big but it feels larger because of how I set it up! This video is different from what I usually make like food pantry hauls but I do hope you enjoy it! I also have some frugal living tips in this video as well as a Small Home Tour. To some, it is a Tiny Home Tour! I hope you enjoy this day in the life of living in my office trailer. Living in a one bathroom trailer can be a challenge. I bought the best single wide I could afford. It needed a good old fashioned mobile home cleaning plus renovations. My renovation budget was too small to do the house design I wanted. Instead I put in endless hours of mobile home cleaning. I hope you enjoy my mobile home vlog!
Decluttering and Organizing Tips!
Decluttering: My Singlewide Mobile Home is not big but it's a great opportunity to make the most out of what I have! My home decorating ideas for my living room is focused on furniture placement and colorful fabrics with patterns. I applied an interior design principle in my trailer that may not be obvious because I do not have the finest furnishings. I used symmetry! It works in any home on any budget. You can make a nice space for yourself, it takes creativity when your budget is low or non-existent.
Decluttering my Mobile Home!
Decluttering: It is a blessing to have a home that I can offer homemaking motivation videos to help you make the most out of what you have! In my mobile home spend the day with me you would find me tidying up and putting things in designated spaces. Mobile home homemaking means making the best home I can using what I got! I use fabric storage containers housing off-season items and supplies under the bed. This is one of my interior design tips for Storage so I can store items out of sight.
DECLUTTERING
This video is a day in the life of mobile home living! One necessary step I must take is keep the floor space clear. I make my home look more neat and tidy by putting things away. When you live in a small home, try to utilize space the best you can so you can safely walk within your home. Create a defined pathway to avoid tripping. If you would see a mobile home clean with me then you'd find me clearing the path in my home, so I can safely walk around! The struggle is real and it's important to create a routine that works for you! My floors are down to the sub flooring. It may not be the prettiest but it's what I'm working with.
Declutter How To!
The space is a minimalist home tour but the amount of things I have do fill up the space quickly. I had to figure out how to maximize a tiny space. I make my space work for me and improve as I go. When I can, I upgrade items to better quality items.
Mobile Home Clean With Me
Keeping your floors clear will help your home feel large! Design your space with storage in mind so you can get the most out from your furniture. When I moved here, I had very little furniture, it took time to build up to what I have today.
FRUGAL LIVING
Living in a small singlewide mobile home has challenges. It would be easier if I had a "junk room" but I have to work with what I got. I have one closet housing a water heater. The closet has room to store items which I utilize to the max. Use what you've got, buy what you can, and make the most out of your home whether you live in an apartment, in a mobile home trailer or any other kind of home. You can make a nice home! Going to the thrift store and dumpster diving to decorate your home takes time, so give yourself plenty of room to be creative!

We live in troubling times. Watching your videos I'm thinking how lucky you are. You're not bitter and angry, you make it work. Your home is small, but it's yours and it feels like home. You bouild it piece by piece. You got things that you enjoy, food in your kitchen, clothes on your shelf. So many these days can't say the same thing. And you did it by yourself instead of getting angry with the world. Not many people can. It's something to admire.
Thank you! I love my little home and making it the best I can. Shopping at the thrift store helps a lot. This home came into my life at the perfect time, and I am grateful for it. I rebuilt my clothing wardrobe a lot from the thrift store and glad to have all that I do. Right now I'm especially happy to have the $5 shelf unit for my bedroom!
You can adhere the felt pad to the feet of the plastic shelf by removing the white tab on the felt pad.

Thank you! I like the black curtains, too! I got a great deal on the curtains some time back at the thrift store. It's like a fake linen fabric. The little baskets make the top shelf look better, so glad they fit. I hope you have a great weekend!

I bought some baskets (Not like yours) at the dollar tree to store those small bags of chips in, I also use them under my bathroom sink for cleaning supplies and first aid supplies, I have them in my pantry, they come in handy. Friend, looks good but maybe you should get rid of some furniture. You have limited space and lost of furniture that you really don’t need. Just a suggestion.
I have a somewhat expensive pair of thermal work boots that the soles were coming loose. I got a glue from a lumber yard. It is flexible and it's holding them together great and I sealed some cracks that could leak. I'll look for the name and post it later.

Just did some cleaning out and decluttering. Started a box to donate and found some old embroidery work I could use as decor😊❤

Yes, the $5 shelf unit really helps for clothing storage. I'm really glad I bought it. Moving my furniture does freshen up the space. When things start to feel "blah" it can make a positive impact. Have a wonderful weekend, too!
Love your videos. I noticed the little blue birds in the previous video.Happy March!! St. Patties Day is coming. Very cold in West Virginia. 30's tonight. Yeah I could use some of that acoustic caulking. Everyone owns those wild muffler trucks here. You can hear them on highway and byways. Hard to deal with at times. Nerve wracking. Everything looks nice.💚💚💚

It seems to be the season of decluttering! I'm doing the same in my home and it takes a lot of time I find. How much stuff we can collect! I like what you did in your bedroom - moving the shoes made the hanging clothes section look a lot neater. And the shopping baskets above the shelf in the kitchen made things look a lot neater. We really do need an updated tour of your home sometime!

Sara hi. I think those felt pads should have sticky surface when you take off the white paper. One side is sticky to adhere it to the bottom of the table leg or chair leg or your shelf. There is no need to use tape to secure it to the legs. The sticky part should do the trick. I’m fairly certain that your pads have this feature. Give it a try. I could be wrong. But the ones I use in my house have this. The pad side will face the floor as you have done.

Sara yes. So you need to pick the pads closer to the size of the bottom feet of your shelf. Too big is not good and too small is not good as well.

If I get a dresser one day, then I'll have more options for storing folded items, but an open shelf works out great for now! I like how the top of my pantry looks, it feels more "visually" appealing. Hi, Love the furniture moving 👍looks, great. For the shoe boxes I would try to put all on the top shelves there is a lot of space unused. It would be beneficial to store the shoes in those boxes you use the least. This way you have more use of the shelves for other bigger items. The cabinet you moved to the other side of the window you can light it up by taping a nice big colored picture. Blessings
Thank you! I like your suggestion on the shoe boxes. Some shoes i don’t wear often but want to keep if a special occasion. So far I like the new location for the wardrobe by the plants, it’s working out well. It’s serving as a living room border. Very excited for all the changes!

hi, sarah - those baskets are genius as it cuts down on the clutter, imho. the 5 dollar shelf works well too. i'm interested to see how you finished in the living room area. i'm sipping on a cup of decaf. i like coffee better as without of sense of smell or taste i can pick up the slightly bitter edge of the coffee but still sleep tonight. see you on tuesday!

Instead of masking tape on the feet, were you not able to peel the backing off to make it stick? The foot is not real thick but it should be thick enough to hold the pad
The pads were larger than the feet and I did not want to expose too much sticky side. One subscriber recommended I use felt pads that are not so big. I might try that!
@@CareFreeLivingChannel I use them alot to protect my wood floors and they are easy to cut. I have to cut them often. That way if you have to move it, it will glide easy. I love the way black baskets worked perfectly up there. Can't wait to see the living room.
