you need to check whether the developer unit is in good condition, check gear's
Thank you tomasz, i changed developer unit as well... checked gears as well... new developer unit and new toner and still the same problem out of toner / change toner.

You can not just disconnect FINISHER because the machine knows it has it.
You must enter the service mode and make FINISHER OFF in the copier's memory.
But I do not remember which SERVICE MODE.

Hi i have a problem with ir2018 after a 15 or 20 copies a message appears put paper correctly i verify paper and it ok i dont find where is the probleme can you help me?
Hey. First, check if the paper rolls are not worn or dirty. You can first clean them with alcohol. If this does not help, replace the rollers. If the rollers are worn, the machine is jamming.

is that a developer or toner ?
Developer is not found in the Canon. The Canon toner only and the container in which the mixture is called a developer unit, but there is only a toner, but name is Developer Unit :)
