    Wow, $400. I should have quit working for the military gone back to yard work. I was doing this from age 11 to 18 back in the mid 1960s to 1974. Then later throughout the years till 2006. Whether there was anything like you have today, I only knew about a garden hoe, garden rake, leaf rake, shovel, and mowers. So, yea, I knew about the mower and blowing leaves like this. But it's great seeing younger people learning to do this like inventing such. It truly proves time repeats over and over. yard looked great. Think with all those trees this will produce a month later another $400.

    Blowers and tarps are even faster; you just have to angle the nozzle in such a way that it's not blowing up the edge of the tarp, but once you get you get one egde of the tarp full of leaves you can go ham until the whole tarp's full. The only time I _might_ use a rake for a leaf cleanup is to put something heavy on the tarp at the very very end, like pine cones or sticks or pine needles.

    Those are alot leafs family. You might want to look into a mulch system to go on the stand-on mover.

      @Thelawnbae  Месяц назад +2

      A lot of leaves indeed :) I had a mulch kit on my sit down mower, but Drake didn't want it on the stand on. We did get a bagger though, which was super helpful towards the end!

    Ok... ok.... ok.....
    You got to do a VIDEO on that "bagger attachment" 🤔
    Because....
    have one for my HUSTLER Super SF and when place the attachment on, *all that thing seems to really do is push the leaves 🍃 over to the side!* 😡
    Whatever it run over....
    yes it will suck up & leave a CLEAR PATH but it will push a bunch of leaves 🍃 over to the LEFT SIDE.
    Basically....
    it's like you gotta go FORWARDS and then REVERSE down the yard backwards, to keep all the leaves in order. 🤔
    Ps. So far I'm not a big FAN of them.

    • @Thelawnbae
      @Thelawnbae  Месяц назад +1

      Omg I had these SAME thoughts the first time I used it..but I learned that it works best when you go fowards and backwards (like you said) 😊
      I’ll do a video next to show it in action. It’s pretty nifty once you get the hang of it. The only downside to me is the dust that blows through the holes..it’s pretty bad 😅🙁

    • @invisiblerevolution
      @invisiblerevolution Месяц назад

      @Thelawnbae
      LoL.. yes that dust is NO JOKE!

    • @Pure_KodiakWILD_Power
      @Pure_KodiakWILD_Power Месяц назад

      Gotta mask up. The holes are the only way you get leaves into the hopper because of airflow.
      And the other thing with those side baggers is they seem to fill up lightning fast, so maybe the reason you're getting kick out is because it can't take anymore leaves, so it's basically just mulching at that point.

    • @invisiblerevolution
      @invisiblerevolution Месяц назад

      @Pure_KodiakWILD_Power
      True... they do fill up FAST.
      Personally.... I only think they good for lawns lightly covered with leaves 🍃
      Think the ZERO TURNS are better at bagging leaves 🍃
