Thanks so much for sharing! It’s very helpful to hear from a fellow entrepreneur, and have you share so candidly your own journey with your small business! You’re smashing it, and it’s very inspiring!
Excellent video and good figures. Perhaps now you may need help in the form of a mentor and even getting someone to help you with day to day stuff. But i appreciate you have to be comfortable to take those steps. Keep up the great work.
@WILDRACECO thanks for the fast reply. To start selling on amazon as a candle maker and how to make products do well like you do. It seems most of your revenue comes from amazon.
@@adebankeaboaba675 A huge amount of my revenue comes from Amazon. I’d say, top tips for Amazon: 1. Great photos, always have the first photo with a plain white background or it will get removed. 2. Clear titles, use keywords. 3. Start by sending maybe 20 units to prime and then if they sell top them up. This way you don’t waste sending them if it’s an item that doesn’t pick up and sell well. This is normal, not all of my candles do well on Amazon. So the ones that don’t I just don’t send anymore. 4. Trial some ads or use VINE reviews or get friends to buy and review so you have a good rating, this helps sales come in. 5. Don’t let things go out of stock, Amazon hates this. 6. Do the A+ content for the descriptions. It makes the whole listing look and perform better. The same with registering as a brand and making brand content. Hope this helps xx
Hi Jordon, thank you for your lovely videos. Your story is very similar to me- I have health issues and have been looking to start a candle business for a long time.. What’s your top 5 points to get started other than making the candles? Love and hugs x
@@Dehname Thank you for your comment, it’s definitely a bit harder for us but we are built with a lot more determination! 1. Be determined, but not stuck. Don’t be afraid to change your ideas or redo things that don’t work. 2. Try as many new things and say yes to as many as possible in the first few years until you find what works and what doesn’t for you. Markets, wholesale, Etsy, Amazon, websites, NOTHS. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, maybe even RUclips haha. Try it all! 3. Try and create something unique. Something people can only get from you! 4. Reinvest every single penny for as long as you can. Money makes money! 5. Take time out when you need it. It’s hard enough with health issues but it’s especially hard to feel creative when you’re unwell. Reset, rest, then come back stronger x
