Hi Todd!!! what an awesome year 89 was and you have the records to prove it.... loved all the stuff you showed The Cult's masterpiece, Kreator, Exodus, Dangerous Toys, Overkill, Testament, Sepultura and the list goes on. Nice to Sabbath with Tony Martin and hearing they're finally doing a boxset with his releases. cheers and be well

You have a nice list as well. A bunch of these I like, but not enough to put on my list. Others I just don't like.

Awesome picks for 89' Todd!! Has to be one of my favourite years for Metal, so many fantastic releases! You showed all my favourites; Exodus, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Overkill, Sepultura and Testament. Really must get the Kreator album on physical! I need to check out that Voivod and Annihilator, and I've heard great things about that Black Sabbath album. The only one I would add is Flying in a blue dream by Joe Satriani. Great list! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I've got to say, that Overkill cover, and even the one of their albums that I own, is so ugly. Overkill has easily the ugliest covers. Every one of their covers looks like Domination.

There were a lot of ugly covers in the 80's not gonna lie. Even into the 90's. What do you find ugly about it? Domination from Morbid Angel? Some Slayer covers are ugly in my opinion. They look like they were drawn by a six year old. Everybody has their own opinion. Otherwise the world would be pretty boring.

@@ToddGuyTheThrashingZombie Yeah, you're right about Slayer, lol. With their stuff, though, it feels more artistically ugly, lol. With their stuff (Overkill) and, yes, Domination by Morbid Angel, I think it's just like a regular image that has been so fried with graphic design that it looks horrible. Lol. Not a commentary, on the music!
