@@Anonymit Money for what? Daycare? There are subsidies for daycare, especially for poor single teenage mothers. As for a job, I truly think Teen Mom enabled them enough to not get jobs. If there was no Teen Mom I'm sure they could have handled working. IN fact, when Teen Mom first premiered after 16 and Pregnant, Caitlyn had a job, in a clothing boutique I believe.

You can’t blame teen mom entirely for them not working. Caitlyn suffers from depression, among other things.
And from the looks of it, it seems pretty bad sometimes. Her job most likely wouldn’t have lasted long.
@@AlastorsShadowDemon I do believe depression can be circumstantial sometimes. It's been proven people feel most happy when contributing to society, such as in a fulfilling job, volunteer work, etc. Cate sitting around the house smoking all day definitely didn't help matters, and I do think MTV was partly responsible for allowing her to live that life. Not to mention how the fame and tabloids might have effected her mental health. I've also suffered from clinical depression and generalized anxiety disorder and my therapist is always on me to join a class or just do anything. It feels uncomfortable putting yourself out there, especially when all you want to do is curl up in a ball of funk, but I think is nourishing to the soul in the long run

Jo and Ryan acted just like how my baby daddy did. He ignored me constantly, screamed at me when I had mood swings, made it seem like i was joking about my symptoms, and just looked at me when I was crying. People are always concerned about how your partner acts after the baby gets here but no one ever talks about how they treat you during the pregnancy.
I'm so sorry you had to go through that. No matter how old some men are, they're so immature even when they know they're about to fathers.

Joe became a good guy, once he matured. Tyler was always a good kid.
Gary stayed good hearted but should never have stayed with Amber. Cole is not a birth father but he definitely deserves praise.

As a child of adoption, i especially admire how much they kept in contact with their daughter and her adoptive family. I love how their future worked out so well for them.
