I just watched nearly 50 minutes of unboxing from one of my favorite Mounties and didn't learn a dang thing about him...I'm kind of devastated... TTussle is definitely up your alley, hope you love playing it!
I have the bags on top of the character boards, then the two game boards, the the booklets and finally the mini tray. The booklets fit in the well of the tray. That seems to get the box the most compact (not completely flush but very close). The card box is underwhelming but there's a lot to love there and it's still better than something like Summoner Wars 2E (which is, "how do you like all this empty space - good right?). Enjoy your Tussles!
Yeah it's easy to nitpick but I love that panic role cared enough to consider the storage space rather than the "throw it all in a box and let them figure it out" mentality of a lot of these other games haha
Hey loved the video. I completely relate to this experience. You get a game and are so excited and those one or two little things kill some of the excitement. Great video!
Very entertaining and great to see your insight into the box and components. You may just see my name on the side of the box and inside the rule book. 😉
Super glad I backed this one! Overall production is solid, art is on point, and the minis are great but I am surprised at the gametrayz. I have other gametrayz and they are always awesome (we don't talk about super fantasy brawl, lol). But these just seem to be off by millimeters in various places and notches where they don't line up and others that arent there that should be, also my lid for my minis doesn't snap together so it's loose which is annoying. All that to say is I see what they were going for but unfortuantely didn't quite hit the mark. Game is still fun though!
Yeah these ones are selling like hotcakes. I'm interested to see what the reprint will entail. Kind of fun they put the "Fantastic First edition" on the front, because they knew it certainly wouldn't be the last haha
@@RoomandBoardReviews yeah I just seen your note to past self lol. I comment as I watch, which is a mistake, but I can't help it. I really love these minis too. I'm not usually impressed with minis and have stopped putting much emphasis on them but they're very cartoonish in this.
@@nipzie oh no please comment as you watch for sure :) my memory doesn't exist anymore haha, I definitely didn't remember even writing the note or not, so I appreciate the help!
How do I go about doing group pledges in my area (finding people)? Maybe a video? Or at least a comment about it? I'm disappointed about this game. Will pick up in 2nd kicktarter.
Try searching your city name, then bgg group buy on Google, I always find it hard to find these interfaces on board game geek, but there's one Geeklist for Canada where people post all their stuff or you can start one, usually there are discounts or you get some discount in shipping. That's how I got in on this one, and then offered to do a second group since there was no discount on more than 4 and it was an easier side of the city for people to pick up.
The card holder is horrible. I noticed the same issue with my copy as well. I'll probably just toss it and create my own system since as is, it really feels like I'll be damaging the cards. Sub-par storage system aside, the game itself is great! Very happy I backed.
Yeah, so strange to see, but ultimately it won't affect the game itself, can't wait to get it to the table :) I may also chuck it as well and add my own foamcore or something that gives it a bit more room
Since the KS delivered with standees and minis, we’re using the standees on the Beating/Buying order track, so thinking of taking out/tossing the townsfolk tokens and maybe one of the black pouches. We put the rulebook and map centered under the mini-tray, but we organize terrain just like you do! Great point of the very bottom tray hindering opening the card box… your vid gave me the idea to cut off that flap resting under the card box, then rotate the game tray 180-degrees so you have a low area to access the card box lid
Really wish I would have backed this one - artwork is so good. At this point I believe “I don’t have a catchphrase” is your catchphrase.

Haha I'll make sure I throw in a weird fact about myself every unboxing from here on out

Thanks! Yeah, I always find those little nitpicks come later haha. But still pretty pumped to get it to the table soon :)
Hey, you got some that Townsfolk Tussle that I need? Sitting on a bunch money if you decided to sell them all....
Thank you.
This is one I regret not backing, there were sooo many good kickstarters around the time this was on, so I got Primal, but will jump on the next one

Awesome
I got this in, but sold it for twice what I paid. I'll back the reprint probably.

Chris, the round tokens for the characters go in that rounded spot that's empty with the minis and standees!
I ended up putting the Bundits there, because they were beside the figure, is that what you mean?

@@RoomandBoardReviews see if someone in your group buy wants to swap duplicate pouches before they pick theirs up!

Is it too much to ask as KS backers that every game publisher support premium sleeved cards? We are backing their production after all... SIGH.

Oh great idea of how to use the standees! Definitely going to use that as well.
Those are good ideas! Even before packing in the card box is super hard to get put. Not unusual either though it's often overlooked
