    Thank you for these videos, you’re very straightforward and helpful. I will travel to Greece in July, and since I’m younger than 25 I can’t buy tickets in advance in order to be granted free admission. I will definitely go to the ticket office of the Acropolis at around 8am, but I won’t be able to reach other places that early, so I was wondering if you know how long the lines can get in ticket offices in other sites such as the Acropolis Museum, the National Archeological Museum or Mychenae in other times of the day. I wouldn’t want to waste too much time just waiting in line 😅 thank you in advance!

I'm worried about the entry to the Acropolis from now on because I've read there would be some changes and the daily visitors to the Acropolis will be timed (although I agree with this new rule, I fear there may be some issues trying to get an entry). What is the name of your tour company?

  • @heidiwesemann5484

    If you enter through the side south slope, do you still ascend up the hill the same way as the main entrance? Like up through the propylea or is there another path/trail up?

    • @GreeceExplained
      @GreeceExplained  3 месяца назад

      Both trails lead to the Propylea, but by entering (or exiting) through the side entrance, you also pass in front of the amphitheater of Dionysus and a few other monuments, which you dont see if you enter & exit through the main entrance.

    Is there a combo ticket that includes all 7 archaeological sites and the Acrópolis museum with a guide?

    • @GreeceExplained

      Nope. You need to hire the guides separately.

  • @diegocruz7919

    I got the combo ticket from the official website and chose to go tomorrow at 4 pm. I assume that would be the day and time for the Acropolis. Would I be able to go to another archeological site before the Acropolis? Today or tomorrow morning? Or for the combo ticket I would have to go to the Acropolis first and then the rest of the archeological sites?

    • @GreeceExplained
      @GreeceExplained  9 месяцев назад +2

      The date you chose is indeed the date & time for your visit of the Acropolis.
      Which means you can validate your ticket for the first time up to 5 days before that date.

    Hi - I found that => Free admission tickets are exclusively issued at the ticket office of the site you are visiting, upon proof of eligibility. If we are 2 adult and 1 child even if we buy ticket online we need to stand in the line?:/

    • @GreeceExplained
      @GreeceExplained  Год назад +4

      Good question ! If you have children, then yes you need to line up to get a free ticket for them. You cannot get a free ticket online. Of course there s always the option to pay for a full price ticket for your kid, and that way you can skip the line...

      Its a 10-20min uphill walk, part stairs part slopes. The elevator is only for wheelchair users.
