Yep! You drawing on your tablet is way more fun than a PowerPoint. ✌🏼

i agree. i was going to say that ive watched endless videos over the last few years with truly great presenters/teachers/etc, and it will be a straight hour of slides of powerpoint and even sometimes very well and clearly done. i realize that for many much more intelligent people than myself, thats all they need. but for me with powerpoint, its very difficult for me a lot of times to follow their thinking or reasoning behind their math, so im just left usually with 'well, heres the formula or whatever or the configuration for this circuit," and i just try to memorize basically that and nothing more. watching you work through the problems as you would be thinking through them yourself has exactly the reaction you mentioned at the end of this video. it has helped me learn to look at everything in the circuit and work out how it is actually expected to operate on my own FINALLY. and im almost certain that was a key factor in m e coming back to your lectures on youtube now for quite some time. and many of them more than once. these are awesome.

I do agree to the sentiment of circuit classes (intro or adv.) never presenting this suppositional thinking. Yes, we do know it exists and utilize it in exams etc. but not to actually understand the basic circuit itself. Very nice explanation of a voltage subtractor, thanks

So happy I found this channel! What an amazing resource for audio hardware and software for that matter! I also love the idea of presenting things in a way that enables more creative thinking, when it comes to generating new circuit ideas, instead of just teaching it in an analysing capacity. I found that a similar thing is happening when looking at music theory books like from Schoenberg, Schenker, Riemann etc. Some of these just have a different outlook on things that will help you come up with stuff and ideas while still being able to analyse stuff properly of course. It's just a slightly different mindset and approach, aiming to teach flexibility of thinking instead of just throwing schemes and formulas at you! 🙏

I am very pleased I stumbled onto your channel Professsor! I especially enjoyed hearing the remark about developing the intuition, as that has been a major stumbling block in my education. I am not someone who can stomach very much memorization, and I dont find that to be helpful if you dont know where to apply it.
