    OMG, Christian is probably going to be at least 6ft. Protect your body, you'll need your body this whole lifetime. My athletic friend has a small (4'10)14 year old girl with cerebral palsy and now her body has all types of wear & tear issues from handling her daughter. Take care. You all are such a beautiful family.

    Thank you for showing the deep pressure you do on him when he gets hyper. I will be definitely try this with my son he is chill by nature but of course has those hyper moments as you mention with Christian. Sensory needs when and what to do for my son is still challenging for me to understand and do what would help him😐

    I have autism and am Hypersensitive. I get too much input at once I hear lights and every conversation around me. The beeping of the check out line. Clocks ticking and squeaky wheels on the cart. I wear noise canceling/ white noise headphones in the store. But still sometimes it doesn’t block enough and it hurts. It feels like I’m being shot with a bow and arrow. I have some “alarming” stims where I bang my head with my hand and it scares people but it really does calm me and it doesn’t hurt. It’s just my way of coping with all the sounds coming at me like bullets all at once. I create output to block out the input and it helps.
    I hope this comment will help explain some of his or other neurodivergent people’s behaviors.

    I know how you feel I like to clean before ABA for my little one also girl how is OT I only have ABA and speech therapy but I still need to get OT

    • @ROCKNSTIMS
      @ROCKNSTIMS  4 года назад +1

      OT is a game changer! I highly recommend but I suggest you make sure to find someone that will work on what you think will benefit your child best. For my son it’s sensory integration, having OT has helped us understand why he does certain things and how best to support his needs.

    What do you do when little kids stare at Christian when he gets noisy or throws meltdown’s in public? I would get so mad if people started staring

    • @ROCKNSTIMS

      I get a little annoyed internally but unless they say something to him or are being overly mean I let it be. My son thankfully doesn’t notice 💙

    Hey. I've been wanting to ask you whether you give him any medications for hypersensitivity...my son will be 5 but is still too hyperactive and hypersensitive. Please share me what helped

    • @ROCKNSTIMS
      @ROCKNSTIMS  4 года назад +1

      We haven’t done any medication, what we have tried is only deep pressure squeezes and sensory activities.
