- As Langrisser has recently been released with a new SEA server, I thought I would go back and do some new player guides, videos on each of the 3 "core" factions that are played, etc.
Here is the first video, which covers 10 tips on some of the most important parts of the game (and also things that I wish I did early on, such as getting a 6* Tiaris!).

I started Langrisser a couple of months ago actually, mostly because I ended up finding your videos. They ended up peaking my interest to try it out.

Very first thing is plan out how you're starting Matthew. I started as Shadow and now he's perma-benched until further notice. Starting as Cavalry, Dragon or even archer will provide more benefits.
Striker Matthew is still the strongest Cavalry unit in the Glory faction, as Scott does not have strong enough skills.
Dragon Matthew provides insane group mobility and gale.
Archer Matthew might not be as good, but can still clear flyers which are fairly common. Even then, Narm is just $2 and can do more than Archer Matthew.
Shadow Matthew's only benefit is Ninjutsu, but lacks mobility to make use of it.

Well I've been screwing up since day 1. I'm level 40 but clearly need to be in the mindset that I'm level 30ish. Thanks for the help!

I’m just going to note that for world arena position rewards is very dependent on your server, because in mine top 100 is generally late silver, I think in Nitros case a lot of he people in his server dropped the game or aren’t just interested as it is an older server.

25:43 Is the Gaea's Armor better then the Aeneas' Armor for Ledin? I have both (the Aeneas' Armor is max lvl and I haven't built the Gaea's Armor yet because I just got it). I know Cherie is supposed to be a good attacker but she seems like a glass cannon compared to Leon. Leon can actually take hits, if Cherie gets attacked she's usually dead or close to it.

Was quite lucky to get Leon Bernhardt and Liana in 130 pulls.Luck and tickets dried up trying for ledin and the latest altmuller. Got Cherie and bozel free from events so now have these 5 set to work with. Cherie seems the odd one out here.
How do you power up your character? and where do you find the Weapon and Accessory?

AWAKENING quit this game asap. This game is not good whatsoever, there are plenty of better gacha games. I was a launch player and quit after 2 months. Take my advice. Getting the good units is rare as there are no summon rates

@@Nitroglycerine just some basic pointers and directions as to how to approach the game at this point. For example, back then jugler was quite unpopular but now I see that he is totally a must for many high end pve content involving aoe. I was just looking for some directions on how to approach the game from that perspective. I see that I am missing some key sr colab characters too and not sure if I will get to grab them again and such. Overall, just your thoughts on how to approach things at this point really, would be helpful. Thanks :)
@@shadmannoor5878 can't really make a video on that since everyone's situation will be different.
What I can say is: Just take it step by step.
1. If you're still working on clearing PvE content like lv70 dragons and anikis continue to focus on maximizing your parties for that content for now.
2. Those SR collab events will re-run, a few months from now.
The game kind of progresses in that manner.
Step 1: Clear timeless trials, dragons and anikis.
Step 2: Start aiming to clear lv65 eternal temples (55 & 60 can mostly be done with characters leveled up for Step 1. 65 generally needs specialized parties).
Step 3: Start aiming towards S Rank on all ancient beckoning battles (many characters used in eternal temple are also shared with AB, but you'll have to build some other ones like Jugler as you mentioned).
I mean, you can always refer to my videos on clears to see what parties I used too.

For the Sakura event sir what u suggest to exchange ? I’m in 38 levels , it’s the iris better then tiaris? I’ve tiaris on hand ( senpai teach abit I’m a 2nd week player with no luck )
Well, I was able to exchange for everything when the Sakura event was on international. So I don't remember anymore. You'll have to figure out what items you want to prioritize.
Tiaris is one of the 2 best healers in the game, the other being Liana. However, Tiaris has to be 6* to shine. Iris also has great utility.
Long term, you will want Tiaris, Liana, Iris, and Sophia all built.

I've two little questions since I seen this excellent video, grats for her. I've play since the beginning with SR characters and one R (Jessica). I build one character of each class, either, 10 charaters. I play with a mixt of SR and SSr gear and some characters are full SR gears. In 6 months I can play lvl 49/50 missions and I'm at the chapter 28, Battle of Cellier.
My first question is : Could I in the future, play high level missions and contents with only SR characters with a mixt of SR/SSR gears or I need to change to more SSR characters with SSR gears ?
My second and last question : What is the difference between SR and SSR spells/enchantements ? It's the only thing that you haven't speak about it or I miss something ^^

For Question 1: you can clear all content with only SR characters, as long as you picked the right ones to level up. It's just more difficult, and you generally need more powerful gear. Effectively, it kind of balances out where: SSR heroes + SR gear can clear most content, or else you need SR heroes + SSR gear.
That's a ROUGH guideline, not 100% accurate.
However, given that, as a F2P, I've gotten 1600+ draws on banners, why would you choose not to use any SSRs? ^_^

Quickly summed one. SR scrolls only have a 2% chance of getting a "maximum" enchant, while SSR scrolls have a 5% chance of getting a maximum enchant.
Also SR scrolls can have only 2 enchant values, while SSRs always have 3 enchant values.
@@Nitroglycerine Currently I've Tiaris, Shelfaniel, Bernhardt, Joshua, Altemelluer, Elwin, Landius and Listell in SSR (I forgot in my last message, I use Landius and Listell are two SSRs that use daily for demon and rider class so....not full SR :-p) . They have the same levels as my SR characters and I switch gears between my SRs and SSRs when I need more power (thumb smiley). The little problem that I've is, that I got attached to my SR group lol ^^.
For enchancement, I maybe forgot this old video ^^, I've just two SSR enchancement (moon & sea) but when I will have more SSRs enchancements, it will time to switch.
I start to increase the level "in off" of some SSRs gears so when they reach the lvl 40, I will switch for some characters and use SRs gears for others.

About trinity summons, I've just 582 for me ^^
I upgraded Matthew to first tier, then switched branch, then switch back again for maximum rune cost. And it was a Shadow Matthew.

well. You have a very powerful hero Matthew if needed? He's actually quite good for Scylla 65 and Phoenix 65.
Eh I wish. It's difficult to prioritize gold distribution.
The only true tips for new players is to follow Nitro guys. I mean, really.
not to nitpick but I'd say that origins is a better team than princess because of le doge, luna, tiaris, sophia, pineapple head (ugh) and freya. all of whom are very good despite pineapple head being a horrible calvary only needing strike from it
and you may think that I'm biased towards origins, but I also use princess and imo it's a very well balanced faction
Not really beginner tips? Like lvl 35 and up tips...
My curiosity is why the protagonist faction gets hated on so much, Since Leon can be ran out of faction just fine my team comp is Flier Mathew, Ledin, Elwin, Liana, and Leon and i have no problems with doing Pvp or Pve I can also switch out for bozel for the debuffs or Lana for Magic Damage. Can you give any comments on why they are considered the worst faction Nitro? Thanks!
Origins is actually considered worst faction. As for protagonist, it is considered an off-shoot of legion of glory, really.
Your party basically just replaced Cherie with Matthew. Which is kind of a downgrade
@@Nitroglycerine thanks for responding, right now part of the reason I'm running Mathew instead of cherrie is he has 2 stars over him, and I much rather have Matthew's faction buff rather then ledin's since his only activates when attacked. I could run elwin's, but then he can't run sword soul and roar at same time. Along with Mathew giving me a heavy hit at range every once in a while I feel it overall comes out better as long as you keep your people grouped, which is a risk for pvp but anyone with mages that I worry about I bring bozel. Is buffed cherie really that much better? And if so, would this be better on the stuff where cherie can't be away from group (like dragons and the like?)

Fully upgraded, Cherie with Ragnarok and Tiaris' ATK blessing can 1-shot 2 targets in 1 turn, due to her talent wild princess.
It makes her very efficient for clearing out ranged attacks and such, and being able to finish time rift maps within the time limit.
Whats the use of locking /unlocking items? Theres that padlock icon. Whats the use of that?
Locking an item makes it not available as a forge ingredient so you don't accidentally use your favourite equip as a material or sold at alchemy. By default SSR equips have a lock :)

I play in sea, i dont understand about firs21 banner from taiwan, can u provide from ur experience (event n banner) thx.
On international. We got the same banners as Taiwan. There were a few minor modifications here and there in the dates we got them, but the banners were the exact same. Event order was also the same. So it was easy to plan everything out in advance
what does the green colour means on the banner image and wich banner would u recommend us new players to wait for , i'm waiting for the quimera doggo ,
It was mainly just shading.
The green, as far as I can tell, is "first release" of the characters.

You should have done it from now dates instead of game release with banners and events alot of people will be confused with the free ssr events

You need to build up Bozel's MDEF for him to have high intelligence.
So he relies on gear that gives +MDEF%, enchants doing the same, and a high level +MDEF helmet and speed boots.
So basically you have to get ssr as a new player or you won't get through the game? So Rs and SRs are useless that's what I got from this new players don't start with ssr because they are hard to get?
Actually, the game is super friendly when it comes to giving out trinity crystals and vouchers. So getting SSRs aren't hard in this game. Furthermore, gate of fate allowing you grind SSR shards makes it possible for you to level them up at practically the same rate your R and SRs do.
I mean, there was a CN server guy who did clear 90% of the game with just the basic "Free" characters. Meaning: Jessica, Lance, Matthew, Grenier, Almeda, Scott. I think he also used Klose and Iris from the events.
So even that is possible. But you really need to know what you're doing, and these heroes definitely are outclassed by good SRs and SSRs.
Is it worse to up Leon. I havnt Bern or Alt. He is my main dps now. 58 lvl. I have cherie, ledin, elwin, tiaris, liana, bozel, lana, rene, joshua. Pleeeeeease tell me what team shoud i use?
Off faction Leon is generally ok due to chivalry.
You will probably use what I did, minus Bernhardt, but with Elwin

Unfortunately, at this point, it's too late to farm for the shards to do the exchange.
You need 50 shards.
However, the event ends August 7th.
I got tiaris after i got liana to 6 star.. after that i started on tiaris. She is 5 now. Almost....
also whats the main idea behind doing 2, 4, or 8 hour training?
2x2hr gives more resources than 1x4 hr, and so on. So it depends on how often you login.
Keep in mind that not everybody was as lucky as you !
I did not manage to pull Zerida or Landius !
Both character do appear on focus banners, and in the case of Landius, you can trade for him during the couple token event. You might not get them early, but you will definitely be able to get them sooner or later. Especially if you farm every character's Gates oF Fate for free Trinity vouchers and crystals. Ultimately, it's not about luck, but proper management of your trinity crystals and vouchers.

Since Iris is empire healer can we count that healer issue was fixed?
You would still rather use Lana, tiaris and Sophia as your primary healers.

Well, in your situation, you're clearly an empire / strategist / dark player.
I think the characters you still need are now:
Elwin, Tiaris, Altemuller, Luna, Lana, Zerida, Listell.
Try to plan it out so you can also rely on the "Destiny Summon" (focus banners) for guaranteed new SSRs.
@@Nitroglycerine absolutely, I am trying to complete my empire as it's lack only Alte and Elwin atm, but for long run I also aiming for princesses too, since I saw your princesses video is too annoying should there be a live pvp
@@ai-am-DAI live PvP actually favors the newer characters in general. For international server that is Yeless legends and time and space mostly.
There is no real reason for you to seriously branch into princess, other than Luna and Lana who are already good characters for you.
You forgot that the game is p2w and the summon rates for ssr are so damn terrible. You get to the paywall I would say around level 30. And I’m being generous about the level. If you’re f2p good luck after that unless you take out your card.

Also a CN server guy cleared just about everything except lv65 event challenges with "free only" characters AND no SSRs heroes. Never used Cherie or Bozel in his videos.
He used Grenier, Matthew, Almeda, Scott, Jessica, Klose (trails in time free SR), Lance, Lewin in his videos. I might be missing a few characters, but yeah.
Nah dude. The game just gets really hard after level 40 or so. I wish it was pay to win sometimes. I'd fucking pay lol

Yea, in Langrisser Mobile, Elwin is basically a must have, and a character that makes your life much easier if you have him at 6*.

is it critical to use teams based off of alliances?
Generally, yes. Because at level 35, characters get a faction buff for the alliances: characters of the alliance all get +20% ATK, +20% DEF, +30% MDEF, and a potential extra buff effect.
You can run "mixed factions", such as having 2 faction buffers in the party of 5 or 6 characters. But you generally want everyone to have a faction buff effect.
One exception is Leon, because his chivalry effect lasts 2 turns and basically gives him +30% ATK. But then he has 2 downtime turns after that (although I compensate by bringing Sophia for rewind).

There are 2 Trails in the Sky collaborations. See the video description for the banner order images, but the 1st one has the SSRs Estelle, Joshua, and a free SR Klose from the event. The second one has Leonhardt, Renne, and Olivier.

There are people lower (e.g. 1.7%), and people higher (I know one person near 2.5%), but everyone hovers around 2%.
Im at 3 ssr out of 280 pulls sadly.
Kwok Wei I have Lana, Leon, Ledin, and Landius out of maybe 5 times 10 summons. I actually got two Leon. I guess I am kind of lucky in the beginning. Afterwards, 4 times 10 summons got nothing though. Have played for less than a month, and very addicted now.
