I tend to agree, I’m not as much a fan when it’s the opposite, when there’s an Afrobeats producer with a SA vocalist because Amapiano is so distinct that when Afrobeats producers do their version it just doesn’t slap as hard because they try to imbue their style into it. Don’t get me wrong I love my Afrobeats too, but if it’s an Amapiano track I want it all the way Amapiano and it I want it to SLAP like my mom when I talk back and disobey her! 👋 👋 🤛🏽 😳😂
