Really enjoyed this. I remember the first time I saw both the Thoughtworthy Co. home tour, feeling such a strong intuitive pull toward that home and lifestyle. I've been slowly removing furniture from my living space since then, but still need to clear my floor space some more. You've highlighted some of my other favorites too (yours is included in that!), but I hadn't seen homes 2 or 3 before. Looking forward to checking them out more thoroughly too. :)
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed this video 😊 Yes, Thoughtworthy Co are amazing and very inspirational. I can relate to the strong pull you felt watching that video the first time:) and how lovely that it had inspired you ever since! :)
Hi Anja, I don’t know how I missed this one from May! I just watched it and you asked if we liked this format. YES! It was fun to watch other people and how they set up their homes in a minimalist way. It is very inspiring, like you said. I loved the last home the most. Though minimal, it seemed very warm and easy to be in. I think this is a wonder format for sometimes, but I do totally love your regular videos very much!
Thanks Adrienne, I really appreciate your feedback! It's good to know. Yes, every now and then it's nice to look at how other people live for some inspiration 😊 The last home is my favorite too! It's still so warm while very minimal, I agree.
Hi Anja, thank you for sharing other minimalists homes, this gives me ideas and ways I change and improve my home. I particularly like the bed on the floor, longer term this is what I want in my home. Your video gives me lots of inspiration.
Hello Anja, I enjoyed seeing the tours of other minimalist homes with your commentary and insight. I should add, I also enjoyed your past videos with commentary on books about minimalism. I hope you'll consider doing more. Home tour 5 was my favorite because it had a nice homey/lived-in feeling with natural fibers and colors with a modern twist. Some of the others reminded me more of post-college bachelor pads, but everyone has their own style and there was something I liked about each one. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing, Kristina! Yes, very well said, think that is exactly what makes the vibes of the homes different. The last tour definitely is the most realistic and made to live there. That's also why I like it the most. Also, thanks for letting me know you liked the videos on minimalism books! I will look into that again :)
Lovely homes and very harmonious as well. I wish our home looked a bit more like that. Your home is definitely awesome! No clutter, tranquil and Olivia is adorable 🥰 I’m not about a favorite, I think I like them all equally. I would love to take a thing here and a thing there, I mean ideas and inspirations, to apply to our home. Not easy when you’re living with a non-minimalist lol! But it’s getting better, especially after decluttering more from selling our apartment. Right now we live in chaos. Not very comfortable to look at, but… it’ll get better. I’m decluttering like crazy every day. Thanks for sharing a very inspirational video 💗🌹
Thank you for sharing. I am not a minimalist. Here whole year round of 35 to 42°c hot hot day and night. So simple especially light and easy daily living is top important ever. As such bedroom only have a bed with pillows in use (zero decoration) is important to avoid extra housework. Whatsoever extra work is not to do. 'Raw' or 'as it is' are the way of easy living. (Organisation in nice containers or peel off label or just to look pretty is not required at all at all time.) Do the very must. Avoid the extra effort that not a must. Enjoy life to the fullest with the loved ones. 🌸
I love your videos and especially how relaxing you talk. I am a retired woman in the USA and have been working on a minimalism and environmental safe lifestyle for a few years. I am hypersensitive to clutter, noise, distractions, chemicals, fragrances and much more so that's why I started this journey after a doctor diagnosed me with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder (MCS). I was thinking of getting a pet and wondered about your rabbit and if he is litter box trained and if you can walk him on a leash if you went outside and do you ever take him with you to the grocery store if you were traveling. God bless ❤
You would love my home I think. I have one grey sofa, grey floors, tv on the wall rarely used, a bookcase for bubs library books and 6 Ikea boxes of kids board games and toys, a double bed frame and a cot for bub. The clothes fit in the small wardrobe, there is nothing under the beds or sofa, the kitchen counters have only a kettle, a toaster that I often store away and a microwave and the milk machine for bub. In the shed I keep the rest of the stuff for outside in the brick shed. stuff to sell or rarely use but cant be in the shed is under the stairs and then any big stuff that can't be stored in the kitchen [hoover, toilet paper, winter blanket etc] is in the cupboard in the hallway.
Hi Anja, I very much enjoyed this video. I’m have seen a couple of these channels before and now I’m going to go back and check them out. I’m always looking for inspiration to make my life more simple and minimal. I enjoy your other videos as well. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Anja, I really love your usual format in your videos but this was just wonderful today! It was like a whole new outlook on minimalism. I haven’t seen other apartments that are minimal except yours, and this was fun. I got more ideas too, for my own place. See you next time and sending hugs to you and Olivia 🌺🌸💐💐
Hi Adrienne, thanks so much for letting me know. And it's so nice to hear that you could get some ideas from these home tours! 😊 Hugs back to you and your cats! 🤗
hello Anja ,i myself-- need to not look at to many people and their choice of simple living with less then i never feel that what is do is going to work--thank you for sharing----deatra
I can understand that very well, Deatra. There is a fine line between inspiration and feeling like needing to change too much. Very true. Good that you are aware of that, that's very important indeed. Wishing you a good day, take care! 😊
Forgot to mention I also do mostly raw food, organic, and juicing with my wonderful quiet Omega Slow Juicer....and have Dr Grundy's book, that's a coincidence.
I've seen all of them except Bea Johnson. I don't think I've heard of her before. Thanks for sharing. There's video one of a family in Seattle that has a good minimal set up but I forget the channel name though.
Thanks Minimally Leah! :) Yes Bea Johnson is very inspirational I find. I also could not find a video of a family, don't know if they were from Seattle but an amazing home, well there were a couple of videos I could not find back actually. Hope I will come across this video that you mention.
Thank you so much. I love your videos. Do you have a tour of your new apartment? I would love to know where you got your lovely futon sofa from. It is so stylish. I have found one similar but it is $1000 which seems crazy!! 🥰🙏
Thanks so much, Mystic Wanderer. 💛 Yes, I will make a new tour of my apartment soon because I've changed some things. The sofa is from the brand Karup. I think officially they sell them for something like 500/600 but I was lucky to get it on a huge sale. Sometimes they have them on sale in the stores, maybe also online, keep an eye on that :) It's this one: amzn.to/3qNaztF and this is their official website where you can find a store in your neighborhood if you want to: www.karupdesign.com/en
@@AnjasArtWorld Thank you lovely goddess! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question so much. I have not heard of this company before but they look amazing with a great combination of style and durability. I see why you like this for your home. Have a nice day. Clair x
