I’ve always loved the story of Joseph, but don’t ever remember reading that he was given Asenath as his wife. I’m halfway through Mesu’s book now and really enjoying it. I’ve read all of her previous books and I just love how she adds more meat to the Bible stories.
This is one book that I’m going to have to listen to the audiobook after I finish reading the paperback.

I recently finished a Divine Romance which is also a telling of Joeseph’s and Aseneth’s story. It was good but I can’t wait to read Mesu’s book
That one looks like a good one! I love that so many can take Joseph and give their own spon on it!

I love how Mesu takes someone who is almost hidden in scripture and gives us the historical context
