Greg is going to be taking us with him on a journey across his various tiling projects. First up you'll be getting a double whammy! Some joints quite close to each and out of line, my ocd kicked in, what am I missing? I'm no pro.

5.37 them joints looked really close together by the door, almost straight jointed
With the large floor tiles, some of the joints are basically inline with each other, shouldn’t they be at-least 100mm apart?
More of a look thing, on a wooden floor you need more of a stagger for strength but with free length tiles you do end up with some close joints, people usually have a similar grout colour to the tile so once that’s all done you hardly notice the joints

Great job by Greg and his team. Would be interested in an explanation/demo on the "expansion joint" Greg keeps mentioning. I get the concept with the longer lengths, just can't visualise what is done.
Amazing job we love Greg! Would you always recommend prepping a floor before tiling vs building up a few extra mm of adhesive to fill voids etc… Greg always gets the best jobs with fresh spot on floors and walls

A full bed is the only way to go. As a handyman I go to fix tiles especially in bathrooms. 3mm hollow tiles never stood a chance😁.

When talking about back butting the tile at 11.43, did you use the the straight edge of the trowel on the tile not the keyed edge you used on the wall ?

Absolutely right to slag off dot and dab tiling. My first house had bathroom done like that in small format tiles and only a few months later i started to find them in the bath as if by magic. No anhesive on the wall but little dabs on the tiles🙄

Always enjoy watching a quality tradesperson (politically correct people) at their work. As has been already mentioned I'd be interested to see expansion joint explained in more detail too. Keep it up A&E
