Omg this farmhouse is absolutely beautiful love how you both are so respectful and careful with this home. This is why you guys are the best of what you do 🫶🏼❤️
Never thought I'd see a couple so adapt to visiting abandon homes and show us their history of how life was in those days. Sandles were a bad idea but she dose have sweet feet, but you acts more teachers about the past then just a couple merely exploring a place. Another beautiful video. Well done. Looking forward to the next one.
Completely gorgeous place. Love the old unique wood stoves and fireplaces, as well as the colours throughout it! Thanks for another wonderful trip, since I'm not able to travel. Love you guys, keep up the great work
A beautiful homely place with surprises around every corner! I love the richness of the colours used to decorate the place. I enjoy seeing unusual staircases as they always bring character to a building. Another amazing explore! Thank you Sam and Jess xx
Lovely house, I too loved the staircase and hallway colours so sunny, warm and pretty. Felt a little sad because you could see it was once alive with a happy family, but to see the hoarding overtaking it leads me to believe the last person there was lonely. Great job guys. ❤️❤️
Hi Sam and Jesse,😁 Want to thank you for such a busy but beautiful house that took in not just one family but also some extra relatives possibly, and the second generation may have put a lot of things upstairs, too heavy for the parents to carry all those things, and or, could’ve been families that lived there at different times, the scary reason for so much variety of many things. Two of my favorite explorers, watch your foot work,as it was challenging to walk around in there!Loved the furniture and windows, wallpaper and agree with Jessica about the beautiful light orange gleam against the wall s,Love the pictures, all of them. And Sam finding that little toy dice game.Imagine playing w/that on a train back in time w/someone,friend,stranger,or family member.Even something that small is a treasure. And Thanks for showing us all this treasure.
I have to say this as an American, I simply adore the accent that you both have. It is very pleasing to the American ear. Kudos to you! Whoa! I can tell, right at the beginning, that Jesse is an excellent driver! Something that we Americans might find rather interesting having to decide what side of the road do we stay on where we are! Great!
Awwwwwe, I feel so sorry for that gorgeous mansion 😢. I love the wallpaper upstairs 😍 💕, so cheerful and bright 🌞. Thanks for sharing this Awesome exploration, my Dear Sam&Jess. Have a lovely Week together. Stay Safe and Healthy! As always friendly greetings from us:Anne&Harry from Amsterdam. 🖐🐾🐾❤❤❤❤❤🙏❤❤❤😘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌
They made us learn recorder here over the pond too. We were required to purchase 1 for $4. And we're made to take it home and practice daily for like 3 years. I think mine was passed down to 1 of my sisters . My parents learned to hate them by the time the youngest of 4 had to learn.
That was a lovely surprise. Such a lovely colourful house looked still full of life and joy. Such a shame people become hoarders. Easily done. After my 5 kids left home, I called them all, told them to collect what they wanted to keep and fill the skip with the rest. Then reclaimed my home and put it back into some semblance of order! There but for grace of the Gods - that could be any parent of multi kids! Lol Much love both. 😁🤗💜🥰
Glad you liked this place nanny 🥰 Nicely done! 👌🏼😁 These places always blow me away 😳 There’s one coming up that was the most hoarded I’ve ever seen!! Have a great week, love from us both!! ❤️❤️❤️
Am back on you videos Sam n Jess not missed any of them, looking forward to you going to Holland I have family and friends there since I was a young child. Enjoy xx
What an Amazing find! It’s a literal time capsule. It’s kind of sad though. All the old photos of someone’s family just left to decay. Thank you for another wonderful exploration! Peace be upon you both.
I had to play the recorder. As I reflect I feel my teacher's pain and desire to be deaf. To be fair the place was ransacked and maybe picked. Perhaps the hoarding isn't what is now. The depression taught my parents to save and collect. I do the same. Younger folks are minimalist but may regret that choice some day.thanks for the tour 🐟
Watching this vid finally, and this certainly is a beauty. Had to pause at this point🤣🤣Yes, absolutely had mandatory Recorder lessons, and so did my children, and the older grandchildren 🤣I don't remember washing it in the same water though Jess. Ok, will carry on with this gorgeous country farm home💞💞💞
A uniquely decorated stunning home, It feels like at 1 time that home was filled with happiness & positivity, I imagine children laughing & having fun, Happy parents, The beautiful smell of home cooking flowing through their home. It feels like it holds so many happy memories but something big happened that changed everything im not sure what possibly the mum passed on early & suddenly, I hope I'm wrong but it's what I feel. Thank you both for another great video, Take care, Much Love ❤️ Blessed Be. 🙏🏽🤍💫🕊🤗🕯🌻🌹 xx
We had recorders as a compulsery class, I hated it lol. Very nice explore, I enjoyed watching it. Has the weather started to cool down for you? I haven't been on the eurostar but have caught ferries across the channel, we comendered nder a stair well as it was the quietest place and people didnt bug us. Take care. Much love to you both
I grew up in rural California, and I had to take recorder lessons, though we called it the flutophone. This place is incredible btw. Great explore guys.
I think the mess inside this beautiful home is from people rummaging & throwing everything out into the room as they empty closets, cupboards & storage, rather than from the tenants. The rummagers could see there was nothing valuable in things like the buffet with china so left it alone. The decor & the rest of the home seems orderly like they cared for their belongings & possessions. Or it could be family who began going through things but were overwhelmed & just gave up. That staircase is amazing with the glow from the sun coming through the windows. It's an over all impressive home & outdoor views. Think about what our own places would look like if everything we had tucked away was tossed from closets, cupboards & chests... it would look like a big mess too. But the further you go it does appear furniture was certainly stored. When Mom died, I had trouble letting go of her things, just kind of out of respect. It took about 3 years to finally be ok with giving it away or tossing things. There was a huge amount in this condo with her things plus what I brought of my own when I moved in after her death. Wonderful video, guys. I truly admire your photography as well. I enjoy your comments during a walk through, giving us your on the spot thoughts & observations. Thanks for a lovely tour!
Dito Jess! I was in primary school late 70s early 80s and yes they made us "learn"..(I use that word loosely)..the recorder! Bloody awful noise, my poor mothers ears! Another great explore from my favourite explorers! Many thanks again 😊👍
Another great Video!! Y'all enjoy the warm weather while you can before you know it, brrrr cold 🥶 Sam and Jess I too played one of them flutes that y'all said was a recorder. It's sad that men work their whole lives and build a beautiful house for their families only for it to all fall to rot and decay. Be safe and happy you two prayers for safety always 🙏🏻💞
Yup!!! 👍 I said it once will say it a lot more... You two love birds. Beautiful Couple taking us with you as you romanticize these places respectfully telling there story is really beautiful ❤❤you are the EST in Best ❤😉
Very nice! I also loved the stair case an wall paper. I'm not usually fond of 60s/70s wallpaper but i like that house's. They must have been very wealthy to have so many vintage photos of the generations. US is a new country so i have some photos but they probably only date back to late 1800s. Probably not a priority when they had to come here an put everything in trunks with things they needed. I have a dresser(big) with locks on the drawers that i think came here from England on a ship in the 1850s. It has wheels too so it would be easy to transport. I saw one in a castle in England. I wish people wouldn't go through all the boxes an throw everything all over the floors. It hides so many cool things. Thanks guys. I loved that place.
Glad you enjoyed it Chris! 😀 Wow! What a cool piece of furniture to have! Agreed, such a shame anyone feels the need to touch 😔 Thank you for watching! ❤️
Hey guys. Safe trippings! So happy you did this house. Have you no idea, this home is haunted. If you can ask Dark Arts to investigate it paranormal wise🤔... You know Abandon World Explorer, Dave! He did it justice too. Yip, caught things happening! Again, thank you so much for the upload! ❤️Watching from New Zealand with love ❤️
Yes!!! Thank you! I posted about it being haunted also!! I think it was Dave and he had some things happen upstairs in the hall way!! Creepy but awesome!!!
Beautiful place. So many memories made in those old places. It’s always hard to see them decay away. We did have to play the recorder in school. I hated it so much. They had us take ours home. Like it was a gift or something fun. I have no idea what happened to mine but I know i never touched it again after school. Lol
I first saw this house on Dave's Abandoned World Explorer. Its gotten worse since that was filmed. I've fallen in love with this place. I wish I could buy and renovate it. I don't know if I could keep Grandma's painting, she is pretty creepy. ❤❤
