I think training ankle mobility is overlooked. If you do it, it seriously can make you almost immune to rolling your ankle, which is great. I think you can even let your knee go pass your toe if you like have good ankle mobility.

Hi Aylex! I really loved this video, I found it explained a lot of the troubles I'm experiencing during my games right now. However, a problem I'm really having at the moment is with my smashes. I'm using my arm correctly and following a lot of the steps I've seen if some other videos of yours, but for some reason when I hit the birdy to smash, it soars instead of shooting in a direct path. For example, I'll hit it, but then it'll go far and will stay in the air for longer instead of going down fast and diagonally. Do you have any tips for fixing this?
It's on how u hit the birdy I think. As the harder you go, u will really hit it to hard so it will fly over. If it keeps happening Idk what is the problem.
I might have a few ideas as to what might be causing your smash issue but I don’t want to guess. Instead, if you are still struggling with that issue, I suggest you record your smash form (during both practice and games) and compare to the form shown by Aylex in his smash tutorial.
