Actually Ford was very smart to badge it a Mustang, I know Mustang/Ford purists don't like it but I have owned 8 V8 Mustangs and Ford knows the market is going electric and badging an SUV as a mustang and also having the mach e coupe (aka Mustang) gives them an electric brand that people on the street know and like, the Mustang. I predict GM may do the same with the C8 vette, having both an suv and two or more electric vehicles branded as Corvette.
