Intended or otherwise achieved through conflict variances. It's logical. Removing is the reverse of that. Force them back to the centralized target and defeat to remove threat. Also logical. Its like boom, expand, battle, retract, defeat. Or boom expand, battle, fail, expand further. Fun times.

All of my ships are docked at Daedalus. What happens to the ships if the Thargoids destroy that station? I am going to move them away from Sol tomorrow, but I am just curious If it just acts like the ships are destroyed and I have to pay the insurance to get them back?
I'm pretty sure that Inter Astra is hauling your ships out of the danger zone as we speak. I think they hire a lot of people that want to get out of there to fly all the stored ships out of all the stations somewhere safe, probably filled to the brim with refugees...
What I dont understand is why we get a fine if we lose passengers. I overdrive my type 8 just to save lives and I get a fine?? It is not that you can make a turn and save the pods cause you ll lose more.
So we kicked their asses when they initially invaded the bubble, when they had 8 motherships. Now they send their last to the heart of human occupied space just to get god slapped by my corvette with all mod shards.
Something tells me this titan won’t do the same as previous ones. He might want to destroy earth or mars or both. Or do something else. Maybe he’ll do the freespace 2 ending? Or open some kind of portal?
The invasion was inevitable regardless, I mean even if the Thargoid alert was fully prevented the fact remains that the Titan is still going to show up which would have flipped the system fully anyway
You still can. Everyone pilot has been issued a temporary Sol permit. You just need to be aware that you may be hyperdicted entering and exiting Sol. Get a fast ship with lots of heat sinks. Drop a heat sink before you jump in or out of Sol so that your ship is at 1% heat when you enter hyperspace. After being hyperdicted, keep dropping heat sinks so that your heat stays below 19% and boost boost boost till your FSD comes up and then jump. So long as you stay fast and cold you should be fine. While you're in Sol, you're also fine. It's only entering and exiting that you can get hyperdicted. This advice only stands until Thursday (server time) - no idea what happens after that.
So this is a bad time to start playing Star Citizen? Just downloaded yesterday lol. After making almost 1 billion doing Sol rescue missions. Ill be back on ED to defend against the invasion in my fully engineered Krait fighter & Python mk2 bomber 💪
Fortunately installing one of them doesn't uninstall the other. And neither game has jealousy issues. It's only the players that act as if the games are mutually exclusive ;-)
F the people in sol. Went there to help save people and got interdicted and destroyed on the first jump by two thargoids while trying to transport hundreds of passengers with 10 missions full. Now my reputation is shot with every faction in SOL. Let the thargoids win. IDC. If SOL wants people saved it's gonna have to pony up for insurance rebuys or I'm back to my other pursuits. Oh- and don't take those juicy illegal passengers paying millions unless you want to get shot by 4 security ships right as you exit the port, and get a station fine that makes you anonymous instantly.
Surrounding systems will definetly be invaded. In the message sent to commanders announcing that invasion is inevitable, they talk about core systems (plural)
Every single time I get hyperdicted by scythes, and they empty half my cargo. I fuckin hate them. Nothing my G3 dirty drives can do, a Python just can't do 600 m/s when full of passengers... and my 4A G5 reinforced prismatics just vaporize leaving me on 50% hp at best once I'm rebooted. I'm out checking how many systems are impacted around titans for my own notes. It seems consistent they create a bubble of star systems around their central target. Intended or otherwise achieved through conflict variances. It's logical. Removing is the reverse of that. Force them back to the centralized target and defeat to remove threat. Also logical. Its like boom, expand, battle, retract, defeat. Or boom expand, battle, fail, expand further. Fun times.
This is next gen gaming!
Imagine sending a message pleading all available pilots to come help evacuate Sol, then blasting said pilot's ship to pieces because they have a passenger or two onboard that you consider to be an "unwanted" member of society. I was roleplaying this game as a bit of a scoundrel who still respected the Feds for who they were and what they do, but that ended yesterday.
"As sure as I know anything, I know this: They will try again. Maybe on another world. Maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people...better. And I do not hold to that.
So no more runnin'.
I aim to misbehave."
Sol MUST STAND!
Never there were the real chance to avoid it. It's a must in the story.

I love the hate going to the girl who was forced to take part in human experimentation meanwhile Azimuth Biotech contintues to survive as a legitimate company with zero criminal actions or litagations currently underway...
Have you ever taken a look at humanity? That seems pretty on par for us......
I think I missed something, what was that about human experimentation?

Either the Titan is making a final stand, or it was carefully waiting for this moment to spring a surprise. Either way, I get the feeling that when they said that the previous titan would possibly be the last chance to see it be destroyed, they might not have been kidding.
This titan is going to keep moving around, i can see it now
Dunkirk in space
So, just how many folks can the Cornwallis actually hold? How is it that it hasn't burst at the seams?
Guys so long as you have point defense turrets and can fly faster than 400m/s you can evac safely. I have NO SHIELDS AND NO WEAPONS and have been helping all day and haven't died once
ECM's are better, in this case but can be wonky. I prefer point defenses.
2 ECMs, 2 heatsinks, a ship that flies at 240m/s, and no boosting works perfect for me. No need to have a very fast ship.

The Starlight Mistress and her compliment of A-grade modules, AX supplies, and AX pilots will report to defend Sol.
'The Debugger' Mk XVI, prepared to deploy as well. They seem to be asking for the 'Indomitable Human Spirit Experience', and I think I can speak for most commanders when I say we will gladly oblige.
Would be interested to grep the total system habitants across all systems on a daily basis and plot it to see if the numbers change or just get redistributed. I got no idea how to that but it would be interested.
I figure Cojico will keep moving everytime it becomes vulnerable. It'll establish an octogon pattern of movement between systems and be with us 'forever' so we'll always have a need for the Ax stuffs.
Do I need special gear to be useful? I would love to take part in this. I have a Viper. o7
So Seo Jin-Ae is blamed for divulging Sol's meaning for us humans.Fine, just disregard the thousands or millions of escape pod prisoners the Thargoids have held for years, even physially embedded in Titans 😂😢😮
I'm trying to get to Sol as fast as I can. Where can I get cabin modules?!
Depends what size you need but stations in Sol have them. Head to Mars High.
What happens to ships and modules stored at stations in sol if they shut down?
Edmund Mahon: "Send out pilots, Mrs. President! You must call for aid."
Felicia Winters: "And who will come? Pirates? Commanders? We are not as lucky in our friends as you. The old alliances are dead."
Edmund Mahon: "The Empire will answer."
Felicia Winters: "The Empire!? Where was the Empire when the Pleiades Nebula fell? Where was the Empire when the Titans closed in around us? Where was the Emp-- hmph. No, Prime Minister. We are alone."
Brah, what if the thargoids land on..... which moon has the permit lock? Titian?
currently chilling on the dark side of pluto, waiting for the fireworks to start
I've landed on Mercury to await the Titan as I've done all I can for evacuation runs.
couldnt do anything about that, dont own a passenger capable ship
From a development gameplay perspective, I really hope the devs aren't trying to push everyone out of the bubble to try their new empire system because it really feels like that..... From a player perspective though, I'm so happy with these updates. The game feels exciting. I can't wait to see what happens with the narrative on this one. We hit them with a virus that almost wiped them from history and now they're coming for our homeland.
Tau Ceti Planetary Defence Forces are preparing and gearing up.Thank you guys :D :D
Titan passed nine poopies
For the Earth, CMDR's!
Those ax nerds have been fighting the goids for so long (35+ hours) they’ve developed severe cases of bug brain. Their brains deteriorate as all their neural pathways are dedicated to bug combat and talking in system chat, thus resulting in more and more unhinged chat messages.
All of my ships are docked at Daedalus. What happens to the ships if the Thargoids destroy that station? I am going to move them away from Sol tomorrow, but I am just curious If it just acts like the ships are destroyed and I have to pay the insurance to get them back?
they will be moved
I'm pretty sure that Inter Astra is hauling your ships out of the danger zone as we speak.
I think they hire a lot of people that want to get out of there to fly all the stored ships out of all the stations somewhere safe, probably filled to the brim with refugees...
It is possible that it won't ancor itself to Sol, as it has no ammonia world, but the closest system having ammonia world.
Isn’t Saturn’s moon Titan an ammonia world? It has ammonia in its oceans, anyway.
@CountArtha it is metan and etan, not ammonia.
Correction: Proper english name is methane, and ethane.
@@CountArtha the underground water oceans do have some ammonia mixed in it, but it is still not make it an ammonia world.

What I dont understand is why we get a fine if we lose passengers. I overdrive my type 8 just to save lives and I get a fine?? It is not that you can make a turn and save the pods cause you ll lose more.

Owh shi, i have 3 ship on sol, what happen to that ship?
Sol is cooked! Got my vanity pics yesterday while its still blue & green

So we kicked their asses when they initially invaded the bubble, when they had 8 motherships. Now they send their last to the heart of human occupied space just to get god slapped by my corvette with all mod shards.
Thanks for providing updates. I stopped playing due to bugs in Ascendancy. I'm happy to stay up to date right here while I wait for fixes.
Something tells me this titan won’t do the same as previous ones. He might want to destroy earth or mars or both. Or do something else. Maybe he’ll do the freespace 2 ending? Or open some kind of portal?
If only i could help. Im currently on mercury but i just got shoulder surgery.
Well Im on console so not sure Ill get to go help out
Not really possible to defend Sol or others , as we aren't allowed near them-the Thargoids can go where they please.
Good luck getting out of Sol on wounded missions. Lost about 14 escape pods so far, even after wasting three 'goids.
Ich muss schnellstmöglich meine gelagerten schiffe Evakuieren.
Ich hoffe das HR 244 noch sicher ist
It was always going to go into an invasion state.
We got not chance of completing this by Thu
I think cmdr's did not do anof just to see where this is going to go 🤔
The invasion was inevitable regardless, I mean even if the Thargoid alert was fully prevented the fact remains that the Titan is still going to show up which would have flipped the system fully anyway
Already moved my Thargoid hunting ships to Daedalus. Ready for combat.
I'll see you there CMDR. O7

Aw, fuck, dammit, and i wanted to visit earth! I was leveling up my rep with the federation for a reason!
I'm about 12000 LY away from sol...your problems I'm drinking a beer following the various news 😆😋
They failed shinrarta dezhra. They'll fail here
Of course they will. It's just going to take longer this time.
Nooooooooo !!!! Aaaaaaa !!!
Oh- and don't take those juicy illegal passengers paying millions unless you want to get shot by 4 security ships right as you exit the port, and get a station fine that makes you anonymous instantly.
pro tip use auto undock, the patroll wont scan you aslong you aren speeding up (above 99 spees) then you can go off unsnacth
@yudhat1700 i'll give it another try with illegal passengers but I do use auto undock. Maybe I just accelerated too soon.
Surrounding systems will definetly be invaded. In the message sent to commanders announcing that invasion is inevitable, they talk about core systems (plural)
maybe we don't have the need to be sued if we lost somoeone for a targoid attack -.-'
And I can't even fight them because there are always 2 scythes and one interceptor
Sounds like my luck
Just use EMC and anti-rocket turrets to make them NOT hit you with FSD disabling rockets and hatch breakers. Also, try flying smaller ships.
@@catladygames_size is not a problem, I've been doing evacs on python and I'm losing about 1% of passengers in 40% of interdictions. All the rest are delivered safely, though I have shieldless not engineered python.

This game has so much potential. Such a shame it is filled with barren wasteland moon like planets and only alien race are spinning plates in space...
But actual space is really really really empty
@@sideparting6845yeah. This is probably what other star system will actually look like . Rather than something like no man sky ( which I get the comparison might not be fair as it has a different vibe to elite )
There's only so much you can do while adhering to the semi realistic setting of Elite. Most planets are barren rocks, I agree we could use more variety but I really like the direction Elite is taking, instead of filling planets with procedurally generated races and biomes that all end up looking the same, Frontier is trying to make players feel invested in the universe, for the first time in years i feel like I am making history.
