Glad you found it useful, I'm trying to do my videos like this along with timeline points so if someone is stuck on a certain thing then they can quickly access it without having to scrub through the whole video. Thanks for watching :)
Again, very helpful and I thank you. While I own the DT2, with your series here I'll be able to get by most confidently. I've subbed and saved your DT playlist to watch (I figure) countless times over. Your attention to detail and confident instruction will be essential to my progress as a beginner to digital music creation.
@@j5_music I'm enjoying it! My first Elektron box was the Model : Samples and before I really gained much proficiency, I somehow convinced myself that the Digitakt 2 would be most worth the time investment. I'm new to working with sequencers and digital sounds but have a basic understanding of music theory. My current goal is to understand the midi capabilities of my few devices and how I can get them to work together. I own the DT2, Model : Samples, Modal Cobalt 8 VA synth, Meris Mercury7 Reverb and a guitar with a pickup. Thank you for your guidance in these videos. Your explanations fit well to my current level of understanding and I already feel quicker and more confident at the buttons.
@@crimsonfancy Glad you're enjoying it, you've got a nice set-up there :). Yeah the MIDI can be confusing especially if you are mixing new with oldish hardware, I find the user manuals as you've already done are the best bet but newer devices such as the DT2 allow many more options in terms of the sequencer etc. Really glad you've found the videos useful :)
Simple, and to the point without going down rabbit holes like others tend to do. You give a great snap of each point, and move on. Thank you so much!
