- I built a new enclosure / habitat for my 3 new rhinoceros iguanas that were part of a rescue. These lizard rhinos are loving their new outdoors life!

HA! I laughed so hard @3:50. The ramp! Right. I do a nice water feature for my sulcatas. They run away. Our animals don’t appreciate us! 🤣 lmao. But that is so awesome. I loved seeing them get in there and the interactions between slinky, Petra, and the 3 rescued. I’m so glad they have made it to the Kamp!! Such a great role model! Xo

You should definitely put a visual barrier between slinks and the iguanas. I liked your use of bamboo before.

I’m not sure about those iguanas but green ones needs high humidity. I’d add a water dish big enough for them to go into , or you could put them in bath once a week. This helps their skin from being dry. They also need an area to get shade. Great looking iguanas you have there.

Cindy Huot iguanas can regenerate their tail fully when they have a proper outdoor inclosure. That one with the stubby tail couldn’t heal properly because it probably had substandard artificial light.
@@trustymilkshake It's gonna do them all a world of good!! I can't wait to see the changes in them from getting the care they should have gotten from the beginning!! They couldn't be in better hands now!!
Cindy Huot I would never do this, but maybe they should cut off that stump and let him try again with the regeneration process. It might help him balance is body better if he had a proper tail.
@@trustymilkshake I wouldn't do it either!! We (all living beings) are designed to heal, adjust & adapt!! He will do just fine they way he is!!

I'm not anyone with knowledge and I know you understand more but do you think they'd try to nibble on the foam hanging down from the inside of the cave? It's probably not too tasty
It could happen but once they realize it not food they wont eat it.

All 3 can fit into the hide for warmth? When the female went in it doesn't seem like the other 2 would be able to fit. The solid board to separate slinky from being able to grab them would another divider be good as well to stop the other iguanas from being territorial, does it stress them? What's the blood from on the monitor's toe? Are there any dangers having a heat pad being pinned between the pipe and rocks as far as over-heating without sufficient airflow around the pad or is it connected to a thermostat somewhere?

Hi I noticed in the end of your video you said you have 2.5 acres. I was curious if you have ever done a video on some of the dimensions of your tort and turtle enclosures. We have recently moved and would love to move most of our stuff out doors ourselves
What kind of locks do you use for the cages? Mine are spring locks and they open and shut only from the outside. When I'm in the cage cleaning,etc, someone else has to open it.

Two questions, 1. we all know that Slinky ate one of your other animals and yet it doesn't look like the fencing will be enough if he wants to get to his neighbors. Wouldn't it be a good idea to put steel plates between the iguanas and Slinky? Perhaps some businesses or construction companies may have some scrap medium to large steel plates that could be bolted together? That would keep him from getting through to the iguanas. I know they were all together one time but you can't guarantee if he wanted a snack or if they get territorial, and it end badly for the iguanas. 2. Like your new home for the iguanas but did you make an access point for cleaning or removing a reluctant or sick ignana and is there a thermostat attached to the heating pad? Thank you in advance

What happens to the iguana that was tied up as a hand bag? So sad but I think it was a few years ago!
I know Kenan doesn’t like morphs but he’s gotta get an axanthic green iguana. That’s where it’s at. Rock iguanas are cool but they remind me of the land before time.
Also that rhino has a poorly regenerated tail. But that’s the fault of wherever you got them from.

Kenan what happened to the iguana you rescued with the legs tied down and was in a sling? I think meter reader found him. I’m just curious to see if he survived. It was so sad to see him all tied up like a purse. 😢
He did mention the Iguana in a later video. It recovered but he ended up rehoming it to someone else.

How to get your parents to let you get a bearded dragon I really want one and I’ve had turtles in the past and we let them go in our pond
Wish that all 50 states required a permit and restrictions for invasive species. I believe the laws should require a yearly inspection and spot inspections of invasive species owners facilities. They would be checked out for the following: owner is a competent reptile owner for the breeds they own, knowledgable and financially able to provide care and containment suitable for the species' needs, plus a plan in place that if the owner can no longer provide proper care for the animal that there is an approved person or some organization who will take the animal if the owner can not care for it. Plus all invasive species would be registered with an id number and tagged in some way, with id number with owners having the responsibility to account for all such animals at all times. Fines should be in place for when animals have escaped and/or are unaccountable. We are ruining our native wild places with invasive species taking over and I think it is a significant problem. If we made people be accountable for owning invasive species, then perhaps we could stop so many being dumped into the wild. I am sure it is irritating to you when people get these animals and then dump them.
