Yes once I met a mage Pikachu with 23 kos (they did 147k damage)
And I have had a couple of games with 15-16 kos myself

Seeing damage numbers in the tall grass is another small buff for Pikachu

they kind of delay the hype for new release by gem lock / long and hard objectives to unlock for free. im really excited to play it and thats when ill watch the videos, until then im playing HOK, if they released the mon so you could play it within a few days it would be so much better. this game was awesome though always watch some pika action lol
Ho-oh didn't get as much love bcz it's a defender and not broken as much as previous ex releases its not doing insane damage numbers and 50 kills that's why
Bro it's not meant to have high damage numbers. U r going to see other E mons nerfs anyway as they are getting rid of the Ex classification

I always love this build. Definitely my favourite mage build and definitely prefer using it over the cringe Volt Tackle/Electro Ball build.
Even if there are Speedster i always go for the mage build or thurnderbolt/eball

@@player-ty2sy just a flame chicken? It's a legendary pokemon. The Defender angle holds ground but Ho-oh is very much loved.
@@sechabatheletsane9784 nah bro, they would have gotten more positive feedback from Lugia, flame chicken is boring all the way around.... That or the game is dying, I think both hold weight

Pika one of my favorite mages. On one hand I’m sorry to hear ho-oh numbers haven’t been the best, on the other hand I’ve actually enjoyed the content recently. The Pokémon you’ve showed off recently are the ones I enjoy, like pika and garchomp, so your content has been extra enjoyable

I'm not surprised the hype/interest in this game is dying down. They haven't done enough with it to retain players.
Imo, the number one issue affecting long term enjoyment for more competitive players, is the matchmaking/ranked system. There's also nothing particularly worthwhile to grind for. Reaching master rank or 1600 isn't much of an achievement, and you don't get anything significant for doing it. And if they can't fix those issues, they should at least be giving us a decent amount of content, but they haven't done that either.
Our best hope is that we get a good amount of content added from the Chinese version, otherwise this game will slowly die.

I wasn’t super interested in Ho-Oh bc it’s just one more legendary that the devs brought in. I’m way more interested in balance patches and major changes to abilities/item than yet another 1 week, pay-walled new release.
On the last anniversary, a lot of pokemon with NEW AND UNIQUE mechanics were released other than mew2. Moreover, ig there was no Ex classification at that time. Bullet seed, talon fly and zard ult, dragapult dragon dance, isn't this release just some repeat mechanisms with minor changes.

About the drought of viewership this year compared to last year, it's probably also a marketing and publicity issue. Last year, for Mewtwo's arrival, there were a lot of advertising about it, sponsorship for poketubers, etc... But this year, nothing.
If the game is already well established, it can survive even without ad (e.i. Counter strike, League, etc...), but i don't think unite is that established of a game. Especially for a Nintendo game.
Sad to think about it, but Unite will probably fade like most of Nintendo's live service games (Splatoon in mind. Who has played splatoon 3 a few months after launch?)
Maybe not the video to make comments about that, but Cris was commentating about it, so I pondered a little
Unite is just Pokken tournament. People need to realise THIS is the level of the loyal fanbase. If they maintain their stride they can hope to see these numbers consistently.
Ho-Oh being a defender is odd to me
When you think about it this was the best anniversary because nothing happened, no mew-mime combos, no mewtwo dropping 250k half asleep, nice and boring

I don't really like the Ho-oh they implemented into Unite, it just feels boring as hell with only 2 interesting choices design-wise, being Fire Spin and the Unite Move, and it's mostly the Unite Move.
They made Ho-Oh, arguably one of the pokemon with the best potential for visual spectacle as a legendary and made it boring as hell except for a unite move.
(This is regarding at least why I don't wanna watch Ho-oh content and my speculation on why others may not.)
The Anniversary events kinda just keep getting worse in terms of rewards. Each time they seem to not benefit veteran players that much who have unlocked most things.

How do you choose which moves to pick on Pikachu?
Ig you play volt tackle if the opponents have a lot of melee pokemons especially speedsters, and mage build to catch squishy attackers

mage means they deal damage from range is it right?
Deals damage mostly with abilities and they use the special attack stat
And aoe damage
