3:30 Just a bit of FYI regarding the front guard on these bikes Taylor. They're act as part of the bracing for the forks. When you remove the front guard you need to pay attention to how you're replacing that bracing to avoid "flexion".
You can build a bunch of stuff on the down low without documenting it, especially if there's nothing special about the build, and no one would ever know. you get the revenue, and you get to reserve the special builds for extra attention that filming brings. But I'm glad you filmed this one :) I have a CB550 that's nearly original that I need to tweak. Runs like a dream. But this build is gorgeous, looks and sounds amazing, good work.
Hey Taylor great job on that bike! Just wanted to tell you that your carb rebuild video helped me a ton and now I'm riding my 76 cb550f. Thanks for the help!!
That bike is sick! I dig the combo of the scrambler, brute, cafe styles. I really enjoy your channel. No issues at all with running your business to catch up. Keep it up!!
My first motorcycle was a brand new 1975 CB550 K-1. Put it through hell. Best motorcycle I ever owned. Not the fastest, the fanciest, certainly not the most expensive, but all 'round the best.
that bike is beautiful! the owner is a lucky guy, and i'm sure he will be very happy. i know i would be. glad to see you're taking care of business. kinda missed the vids, but as a self employed individual myself, i totally understand.
Love the look of that bike! Colour of the tank and seat are perfect. Glad you are doing well. You have a business to run and totally understand your focus. Keep it up.
Feels so bizarre that you ended up using the same color I'm doing on my CB750 tank. Video started and I was like.. "Hmm, that's a nice color.. Oh its a ford color? Wait a sec.." It looks great here and I've been getting compliments on the pics of mine as well.
Glad to see you happy and healthy! Gorgeous build and paint color, and very well done build. Would love to actually see one of your builds in person someday!
This bike really looks outstanding. Actually, after all these modern rules how a cafe racer or a scrambler has to look like, they virtually look all alike. Good to see that somebody has his own ideas.
Happy to see you're OK and thanks for the video.....I'm currently building a 1986 Honda XL250R (don't know if this model was sold in US) in my garage and your videos are really helping/inspiring me. Hope to finish it soon!
Good to see you're back safely from the lockdown! Looking really forward to the m-unit Honda upgrade video. your video will be the motivation for me to upgrade mine as well. Could not do it without your support. Thanks a bunch
Another great build , I did wonder if you were unwell . Glad to see you back . Keep them coming, would like to see you work on a kz 650 that would be awesome
Great job Taylor you certainly know your way around these Honda fours. They are beginning to dominate your garage lol. Love all the bikes really though.👍
He is nothing but a pup. (I 60 this year.) Love your builds! Have you ever built a 350cc twin? My Dad had I always liked it. A bit buzzy on your feet and hands.
Glad you are back. Awesome build!! Love it. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Thanks for the videos Enjoy watching your builds and will it run videos. Keep up the good work
I would love to see a video on a full m-unit wiring. Also just throwing this out there for a future vid if you ever get some down time but another full motorcycle wiring video but without a m-unit kinda like the apocalypse motorcycle where you wire up a motorcycle with just the basics to be street legal. Looking forward to painting a gas tank vid!
You could fill the gap between the seat and the tank with a small crescent shaped padded bag in the same material as the seat or just black, that you could push in the gap. Maybe tuffside could make you one? I think they'd be a good seller for them.
Also you could weld a slightly curved metal plate on the rear of the frame triangle to act as a rear mudguard to stop all the crap flying off the tyre and into the pod filters/bottom of the battery box. You could brand it and also it wouldn't affect the aesthetic.
You could, but you have to remember that the rear suspension moves in an arc, not straight up and down, so it might hit the guard. Also, if you ever change the gearing (which will require you to move the tire closer to the frame), the tire could rub in that situation too. And let's be honest, 90% of vintage customs are strictly "sunny day short trip" type of bikes.
Call me a grumpy old man, but I just choose not to eliminate the rear fender. To me, it makes the bike look incomplete. The “something is missing” look. Other than that I agree with you about the color scheme. It looks great.
I feel the same. I'm also not a fan of the "let's pretend this skateboard is a seat" trend. I spend the extra and have seats professionally upholstered (I build the pans). The look, and more importantly the comfort level, blows the off-the-shelf seats out of the water. A seat that is purpose built will also eliminate the huge gapping hole between the tank and the seat that screams "I'm custom ... but not really".
I wanted to say fenomenal work with this build. One small little detail would have been nice to use the same same color to paint the head light from black to jade.
Love it! You sir, always do an outstanding job. Thank you for the videos and all you do in the motorcycle community. Also, I'd love to see you do your magic to that 305 dream. I'm building one right now myself!
Beautiful build. The green and brown color combo looks amazing. What brand of shocks do you recommend. Also do you ever change the springs in the forks?
No worries, we appreciate you've got a business to run. Thanks for updating us on your progress. Sweet bike!
Thanks for all the links for parts in the description. Really helpful and not many people do it. Thank you!
Love the green tank. In fact, love the color contrast with the seat. Overall, great looking machine....
Love the noise of that muffler every-single-time you fire it up, it's going on my build 'must have' list

Great job Tyler I'm sure your customer will be very happy with his new bike
Hey Taylor great job on that bike! Just wanted to tell you that your carb rebuild video helped me a ton and now I'm riding my 76 cb550f. Thanks for the help!!
I love the fact that you combine al these diffrent styles in to one bike. Nice work!
It's a beauty. The " Bullit" green tank with tan seat is a perfect combo. And sounds great. Your customer will be very pleased. Cheers 👍
That bike is sick! I dig the combo of the scrambler, brute, cafe styles. I really enjoy your channel. No issues at all with running your business to catch up. Keep it up!!
That's a beatiful motorcycle, well done!! I got my first bike in April, an '81 Honda twinstar. Got it running and now I'm having a blast!
Damn that sounds crazy good. Love the color of the tank and fender.
My first motorcycle was a brand new 1975 CB550 K-1. Put it through hell. Best motorcycle I ever owned. Not the fastest, the fanciest, certainly not the most expensive, but all 'round the best.
This bike is absolutely beautiful. Incredible job
Really happy to see you’re OK. I was afraid you were sick.
All good here. Happy to be back!

So glad to have you back! The Bullet green looked slightly blue in the vid, but I can imagine it with the distressed brown seat/grips... tasty choice.
It has a blueish tint with my LED lights but in the sun its more green.
Love the look of that bike! Colour of the tank and seat are perfect. Glad you are doing well. You have a business to run and totally understand your focus. Keep it up.
Very good result. I don’t mind missing the progress build but I really appreciate seeing the end result , nice and clean.....

this dude is having a blast right now.. PA back roads are made for cafe bikes
Glad to see the larger turn signals. Safety (for others) should always come first!
Glad to see you happy and healthy! Gorgeous build and paint color, and very well done build. Would love to actually see one of your builds in person someday!
Another C.O. Masterpiece, nice work Taylor.
Nice to see you’re busy - did see a sneaky photo of the bike on Instagram. Very nice and a perfect colour.
This bike really looks outstanding. Actually, after all these modern rules how a cafe racer or a scrambler has to look like, they virtually look all alike. Good to see that somebody has his own ideas.
Good to have you back missed your videos, Hello from Ireland

How did the build go? Those are cool dirtbikes.
@@verrofy The bike is finished and back on the trails! Probably will put it again on the garage for a proper paint job, but it’s running great
Curious to see your next build , looking forward to the change in manufactures, nothing against the the tried and true Honda's.
Welcome back. Was watching an old video last night wondering when the next would be.
It's gorgeous. I love it, man! I have a 78 CB550K and this video is inspiring my build. Thanks for sharing.
Can't wait for both that gas tank paint video and also the m unit! 😄
Nice walk around, I also like the parts list in the description. Good job, glad you're back!
Looks terrific, I live in pa and my inspection mechanic gave me crap for no rear fender. My setup was just like this
Another great job, I enjoyed seeing the finished bike. Thanks Taylor.
Start's bike at the 11:40 mark, sounds fantastic! Awesome build!
Yay the videos are back!!!
All good brother. We all understand how life is. The bike turned out great 👍🏼👍🏼
Very well done my man....All the parts in all the right places.....😎
Good to see you're back safely from the lockdown! Looking really forward to the m-unit Honda upgrade video. your video will be the motivation for me to upgrade mine as well. Could not do it without your support. Thanks a bunch
I really like this build, great setup! Thanks for the video!
CB550 is cool. Had the 750 first... and it was a tank on the turns.
I think the 550 is a good balance between power and weight.
Enjoyed the video. Under that lighting, the bike looked sort of blue. That too, was a good color combination.
The LED lights in my shop make it looks a little more blue than it does in the sun.
You're getting really good at this!
Another great build , I did wonder if you were unwell . Glad to see you back . Keep them coming, would like to see you work on a kz 650 that would be awesome
Great job Taylor you certainly know your way around these Honda fours. They are beginning to dominate your garage lol. Love all the bikes really though.👍
absolutely beautiful. 😍
Dang man thats so nice man. Love the colour! Keen to see the how to paint gas tank video next! Awesome work as per usual
Wow this bike is super clean! I’m editing the exhaust video for my Budget Brat Cafe Build today and this was all the motivation I needed!
Where do you mount the licence plate? and with no rear finder won't water and dirt kick back under the seat and on there back? It does look amazing.
That's a beauty, well done!
" Old man" Taylor? The beard doesn't fool us T.
He is nothing but a pup. (I 60 this year.) Love your builds! Have you ever built a 350cc twin? My Dad had I always liked it. A bit buzzy on your feet and hands.
He’s feeling old but not yet grumpy, lol
Old. man ???? lol....I'm. 71, dude....and I don't consider myself old
Cool, ill be following on the cb750 work, just about halfway done with mine
Beautiful job. It sounds freaking like a classical song...
As always you have created yet another awesome bike
Nice build, Taylor.
Awesome work !! Please what Color code is the tank paint?????? Thank you so much for sharing
Glad you are back. Awesome build!! Love it. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Thanks for the videos Enjoy watching your builds and will it run videos. Keep up the good work
Great looking bike man. You’ve really come leaps and bounds from when you first started out making videos. Good work 👍🏾
Great build.... and good business decision.... keep em coming.....🏍
Totally what I’m looking to do to my racer inspired thanks
Do you mind sharing the pod filter link? Also, which electronic ignition are you using?
Here you go amzn.to/3ghg5Nr I usually run the Dyna S but on this one I have a Pamco.
@@ClassicOctane thanks!
Looks really good! I wish that was my bike!
I think you might have cut the front fender far. In wet weather it might still throw water on the rider ? Looks good.
I like this one too. Looks fun to ride.
OMFG, I love this color !!!!
Awesome build! Bike looks 👌

Work of art!! I’m very curious how much the customer payed for the bike to be built. It was definitely worth every penny! Keep up the great builds!
Love the process!! And the before and after! Art 😎
Hey man great build, do you remember where you got the shocks for it? And what kind they are?
You could fill the gap between the seat and the tank with a small crescent shaped padded bag in the same material as the seat or just black, that you could push in the gap. Maybe tuffside could make you one? I think they'd be a good seller for them.
Looks and sounds good 🛠

Le son est incroyable, très bon travail
Beautiful build!
Thank you!
Good you got alot of work, makes a fan happy :D Keep going.
What kind of tank does this have? It is beautiful!
I wanted to say fenomenal work with this build. One small little detail would have been nice to use the same same color to paint the head light from black to jade.
beautiful build. love the color combos and the style choices you made!
May i ask where in TX, love the perfect color scheme
I'm in Austin.
@@ClassicOctane Do you have a walk-in shop that's googleable?

If you get a chance, can you put some still images of this up?
Hey love your stuff. The link for the muffler is not working. Can you tell me what you used? Thanks
Where do you get the brake light from? And do you have a video of wiring the speedo to the wiring harness?
Brake light: amzn.to/3dIn3t7 I cover wiring this exact speedo into a stock harness in this video. ruclips.net/video/3KZcme8a47w/видео.html
Love it! You sir, always do an outstanding job. Thank you for the videos and all you do in the motorcycle community.
Also, I'd love to see you do your magic to that 305 dream. I'm building one right now myself!
Bullitt Mustang colour ? Dark Highland Green?
Great bike👍
look forward to the tank painting video
Love it. How did you mount the motor to the engine stand?
Savage job as usual man. Can't wait to see yer next build. I'm guessin a 2 stroke!!
Did you have to drill extra holes in the headlight side mounts for the signals?
just SUBSCRIBED .. what rear shocks did you use? great videos .. THANKS
Ever thought of strapping a camera to the ceiling on time-lapse for when your too busy to talk? "Rough footage" type video? As always, love your work!
Beautiful build. The green and brown color combo looks amazing. What brand of shocks do you recommend. Also do you ever change the springs in the forks?
Dang bro, that looks and sounds amazing!
