DO NOT DELETE YOURSELF FROM MINECRAFT...

- What happens if you delete a Minecraft world while you're playing on it? Usually that shouldn't be possible!! But I did it anyway. In newer versions of the game, it's pretty much SAFE- but in older versions, it can corrupt your world data and give you some silly looking terrain. So I definitely don't recommend doing this to a world you care about :P
If for some reason you do want to corrupt an alpha Minecraft world like this, all you need to do it delete the level.dat and the session file. When you load the game again, just create a new world over whichever world you deleted. (So if you deleted files from World 1, make a new World 1) and the chunks will mash together!!
Enjoy! :D

1:03 for those who doesn't know why minecraft din't crash i think its because of cache memory (im not really sure), essentially the world file is still stored in the cache memory in minecraft that's why it din't crash and will only be gone once minecraft closes.
yes thats how it works
I was going to comment this but you already commented first lol
Shorter version: Basiclly, the world’s stored in ram until you leave.
Even when you close the game it would save said cached file back to the normal position. there is probably also a safety check to see if the files still exist, if not it will prolly rewrite them to where they belong too. the only way the game wouldn't be able to save the data is either through a crash or closing using taskmanager.
“din’t”
"This is totally safe!" Squiddo says cheerily as the game is corrupting around them, screeching in agony at the conflicting instructions.
It's totally safe.
I feel like the reason squiddo keeps encountering wacky glitches is because she's being haunted by herobrien/womanbrine

Oh no! The chunks! They’re broken!
nooo not the chunks :((
THE CHONKS!! NOOO😊
i wonder if people actually get the meme tho?
well the chunks broke
oh NOoOoo OuR ChUnCkSsSsS, It'S bRoKeN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Squiddo is truly testing the boundaries of Minecraft as of lately. To see what is possible before the game crashes. Truly a Minecraft pioneer
Cringe pfp
not that much cringe
Yes
You are king of gay
I hate the pfp so much.
No Father ?
6:22 we're guessing what's happening here is the fact that when you pause the game, the world autosaves! this is defs a thing in modern mc and it might be in that version too :)
My lord I love 🌌 *minecraft experiments* 🌌
Me too
Me tree
The reason it still exists, is because the map had already been loaded into memory, and deleting the actual file would only come into effect as soon as the game actually needs to access the file data
I bet minecraft expectations will become series and im all here for it.
Keep the amazing content up Squiddo!
That lab design is so hecking nostalgic, I see you squiddo
I appreciate these nice doodles you add in the video to illustrate, so charming! ^^
the issue with this is that nowadays in order to prevent crashes like that, alot of the world is either saved in a temporary backup, and/or just loads your entire world into RAM which is something you cant normally access, and litterally just allows you to delete files and the computer still remebers it because its saved into ram. i strongly advise trying to mess with ram since data in there is flying around randomly and there is more than a good chance you will brick your computer.
probably something to do with how memory keeps stuff saved while you’re playing even if storage files are deleted :) Think of Microsoft Word-nothing is saved until you press save, but it retains all of the new informattion anyways.
Hey so, i think i know how the off screen bug happened, maybe you were doing some testing earlier and deleted a file that was the general Minecraft collision cells detection. Which made it so that mobs only stopped falling when they were INSIDE the floor instead of touching the floor, but the trees having one block missing may have been a result of something else like data structure being corrupted or smth.
Edit: forgot to mention but Minecraft mobs may turn black when they're overlapping with blocks, you can see it for yourself even in the newest versions of the game.
That's not how it works, it's just because they loaded ever so slightly under the top of the block
I've always believed you, no matter what. Weird thing can happen, especially in older versions.
Edit: on the trees and mobs thing
I really liked this series, please make more of it!
The „saving world….” feature was added back to 1.18 after getting removed later in beta 1.2/1.3 .
7:35 your an SCP now congrats 🤩
for the next chapter open the files of your world with "Notepad" and change a single letter or character, and see what happends
These experiments are so cool, and the Dragon Quest 9 town music is so nostalgic! :D
BABE WAKE UP SQUIDDO JUST POSTED
For me, Squiddo is extremely underrated. Her editing, her personality, and yes, her god like abilities are just truly amazing. Hope u get 1m subs :)
Squiddo has inspired me to try and delete THIS world while I’m still inside it!I’ll see how that goes!
*_AOOOORRGGHHHH_*
Paper Nezu was never heard from again.
This is so chaotic you gained a new subscriber!
Sqiddo your editing is just *chef’s kiss*
6:38 in the earlier versions of the game Minecraft confirms in a way that the don't look at the moon arg is real
i think it’s a star wars reference
these minecraft experiment videos remind me so much of old dantdm videos the nostalgia is SO insane
Squiddo’s is a gaslight gatekeep girlboss without the gaslight and gatekeep. 🌈✨
0:19 i love how it just played every windows 10 error sound at once
*foackground sound plays*
Idea: Transfer the World from the new version and then put random command or blocks that doesnt still exist in the old version
The world format is different so it will just regenerate the chunks and even if you changed it to the old format the game would just crash because those blocks are unknown
Glad to see Squiddo’s never heard of RAM before
My Squiddo plush came in the mail a few days ago! I absolutely love it!
shes back once again
also i have a video idea, try to combine a worlds files with another world files and see what happends
4:18 if that thing appeared on my computer i would be scared to death. reminds me of anti-piracy screens.
We need more, this is like the Chaotic version of AntVenom and I'm all here for it,
Try making 2 new words on the same save slot in old Minecraft
wow shes doing some MINECRAFT EXPERIMENTS
I fell on the floor laughing the whole video! I love your videos! They're just awesome!
Squiddo with scientific equipment is truly the most horrifying thing ive ever heard of. what horrific abominations will they create...
this was a fun video pls do more of these :)

You Got "Comparison method violates its general contract" crash in Old minecraft because Java changed default sorting method in Java 7 or 8 and you need to use a java argument to use the Old one and prevent the crash, also which BetaCraft does automatically.
Mobs are inside the floor because they load slightly under the top of the block for some reason (floating point error? not sure) and black because lighting inside of blocks is always 0 so it uses that value.
World being deleted didn't crash because it loads everything into RAM and only uses files for loading and saving chunks.
my guess for why nothing happened when deleting the data while in the world is that the chunks you're in are loaded into your ram, and are re-saved whenever you try to delete the save data. I'd imagine doing something in a chunk, leaving that chunk, deleting the data and going back to the chunk might reset it (if it doesn't then the entire save data is being loaded into your ram). I don't actually know if anything I said is true since I don't work at mojang or have any game dev experience so I'm sorry if I'm spreading misinformation.
Mobs in blocks in the past that didn't suffocate got visually bugged black
For anyone thats confused with the "upwards hand" thing, I actually did make this work, but it wont be instantly upwards, sometimes it can be kinda like how the hand looked like in survival 0.26 test, or can just dissapear. Heres how to do it!: 1. ALPHA MINCERAFT!!!! 2. Open inventory. 3. Move with WASD or arrow keyz ( i think you do that i discovered this long time ago ) 4. Close the inventory (while moving). If you open the inventory again, the hand will be normal. Like i said, I dont remember much, if this didnt work, im gonna try a different way, and fix this comment! And idk what version this is patched, so try some different versions if the version YOU tried didnt work. And dont upgrade the version, it will not work, you have to downgrade (go to earlier versions) the version! Thx for reading.
I think the game streams the assets while online, and those ones in the folder are there for offline play.
I think that’s how it works.
the reasons that the worlds run at the same time (that i think) is that they both run on the world that hasn't been overwritten by any saves, but since you didn't reload the thingy it says as the source thingy
5:56 it's when they spawn in the floor, entities go black.its a feature (atleast the going black)
1:40 , the world is still there, cause while the world is saved on your harddrive, while you are on it, everything you do is also saved in your ram and wont be purged until you close the game unless you can somehow get your operating system to purge your ram without your pc crashing
OMG I finally found your channel after weeks of trying to remember your name (ADHD memory problem and all) it just came to my mind to search minecraft far lands.( I accidentally reset my whole youtube account im dumb)
Idk why but your vids always make my day
:)))))
mobs are dark because they are inside of blocks so lighting is glitching out, also happens in new versions but when those mobs have there upper half's inside blocks
KEEP UP THE AMAZING MINECRAFT VIDS!!!!
i loved this type of experiments
5:36 This is just parallel universes Where there are Almost the same
100 years later sqiddo in heaven:ima do all gamebreaking things ever done
The playing two worlds at once kinda reminded me of the rotations from petscop...
My brain genuinely hurts thanks to these one-word subtitles
THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN
Also, the accurate subtitles really add to the experience.

Squiddo you're one of my favorite Minecraft RUclipsrs!!!!! I love your content keep it up, I wish I could have bought the plushie but I could not afford it.
Don't worry about the plushie, thankyou so much! I'm glad I can brighten your day :)
This is random but this video brought me back memories of how scared of minecraft I was when I was little, everything would freak me out and I would try different things trying to see something scary to confirm my suspicions
6:07 be like: here are some free sheep.
You need more subs, you deserve them
Experimenting with stuff like this might be the source of most creepypasta worlds
"sorry just wanted to eat the microphone" got me dying
Your my new favorite minecraft RUclipsr
squiddo mad science arc squiddo weird entity arc squiddo eldritch arc squiddo spooky arc we love to see it
The chunk thing happens when you move the world files around. Like taking it out of the folder and putting it in another in old versions of minecraft.
Ex: taking a multiplayer world and putting it into single player to edit and then putting it back into multiplayer will cause those chunk errors.
damn cant believe squiddo was herobrine all along
Very epic video, also my squiddo plushie got here!
Those weird seed fusions look like something Ant Venom would cover.
When you delete something its still there actually but the pointers that tell the computer what's there are telling the computer its empty so when you make a new world it will be on top of that because its now "empty" when it's really not and create a jumbled mess but i dont think this happens in the new versions or old ones only because of the specific circumstances (this is pretty simplified btw)
Squiddo: *DONT DELETE YOURSELF FROM MINECRAFT*

What If you die with stuff on you in one of the windows and then leave and rejoin?
Will you respawn with your stuff or not?
"Are you sure, y/n." It sounded threatening but sus at the same time..
absolutely hilarious I love this-
The black animal in the floor thing sounds absolutely terrifying
funnily enough i was messing around in the opposite direction today trying to fix a very important minecraft world
0:42 best sound ever change my mind
This insinuates the idea that every deleted minecraft world still exists in another void of time space continuum, which ultimately means all the abandoned doggos sitting on the world waiting for their owners to come home are still forever waiting.
I can confirm that yes stuff is moving because I saw a leaf dissappear whilst connected to a tree
Squiddo I feel should be voted Most Likely to Accidentally End the World by Offending an Eldritch Horror via Contract Violations

ngl the lavendertowne theme caught me off-guard lol. even though i listen to it everyday 5:47
I love these video that have no real topic
there's also a thing in bedrock where you can use a behavior pack to make a frog eat you, rendering the world unplayable
Wasn’t that a actual bug in a snapshot or beta?
@@lavaboatcubesupportsukrain7539 no, they could just eat goats
