Great reaction, she says it's a story about her life. She been brought up in the spotlight and has always looked the part. In this song it seems she is talking about how it wasn't always rainbows and sunshine but there were some dark times too. We have to remember, her whole life she was shuffled around all over the world and seen as the Pride of Kazakhstan, her home country. She had to represent all her people so there was a lot of pressure. She had always had plenty of praise but she said in an interview that she was scared to read the comments of her videos because of the few negative ones that would ruin everything and make her unhappy.
Now she getting older and has already gone through a few different management teams trying to find the right fit, people who want what's best for her. Her first couple of experiences with music executives in America didn't go well. They didn't want her to do what she wanted and just gave her some cookie cutter songs to make a buck and they didn't really perform to her expectations.
Before her first time in America she didn't really experience negativity but the TV show The World's Best did her wrong in the competition, then on AGT she was robbed for political reasons so she felt used. After a while she didn't feel the same about music and it wasn't what she wanted but it was expected of her by so many fans and people who saw her as a payday.
This past summer she's connected with a group of people who are working with her, helping her write her own music and allowing her to be involved in all parts of the business so that she can learn and make it on her own. This new team seems to realize her worth and are marketing her, making moves to better her situation, and allowing her to be artistic.
This is just part of her story and she has promised to tell us more about her real life in her future music. It sounds to me that she is definitely looking to make a career out of her music but has been plagued in the past by mismanagement. I think she's got a solid team now and is finishing high-school. She'll be 18 next summer and I think that is her plan for her real unveiling. I think she's just warming up and working on building her strong foundation for fame in the future.
Anyway, this is my thoughts and I have been following her for years. I can only hope that this is the case and do all I can to support her in my own way, that includes watching and support you and your channel Philip. Thanks for all you and Clinton have done for Daneliya!!
My favorite artist. Thank you for this reaction. She is still very young; just turned 17 in July. She is also away from her family. Plus, she is in high school full time. I will support her in whatever she does.
Love Daneliya & her new song is spectacular. She wants to share her experience thru songwriting. Even it's a sad song but I think she's happier now. I think she has past that episode. She now knows what she wants. Whichever path she choose..i wish her all the best. Tq for your reaction Sir.
This is a really cool song, the thing I can’t get over is the fact that she has one of the most beautiful voices it’s really hard not to love this girl, personally it wouldn’t matter what she sings she always seems to give us what we want, which is her voice.And her passion
Excellent reaction Philip, your reaction was very similar to mine when hearing this track for the first time. I have also seen her Patreon vlog of this production and I'm now aware of the bigger picture. She tells us that this is the first time that she has had say in a production of hers and she actually co-wrote these lyrics, which is fantastic. She explained that up to now she felt just like a model that is told what to wear and how to perform. Thankfully this is no more and she has taken charge of her own career and now has a great team around her. Daneliya has now dropped her second co-written song "Cynical" which is different again to this track but still awesome and she tells us that there are many more tracks to follow.
I think you felt the message really well, I guess, it’s partly Daneliya in there, but „overarticulated“ to make it stronger. Recently, we felt she is more relaxed, even giddy sometimes; I think she really found a caring production team that DOES NOT tie her down 🥰🫶
This kid has always blowed me away. Like Howie from AGT. There are alot of singers out there. But Daneliya always sounds like Daneliya and i love watcher her perform. She will be a household name by 20 years old
Thanks for reacting to Daneliya’s new song. Along the way sometime it appears that there will be a music video too. We can only see what the future holds from this point. For a while Daneliya had indicated an interest in attending law school but it seems like at this moment that college isn’t the plan anymore at least at this moment. So perhaps she has decided to go for music 💯. If so hopefully it is what would make her the happiest. I feel near certain that these feelings in Tied are absolutely true over time but perhaps her new management and team have removed some disillusionment and provided her with a level of control and empowerment that has made music fun again for her. I wish for her to be safe and healthy, and for her to chase happiness wherever she will find it, whether that is a career in music or some other arena.
Thanks Philip. It's such a healing action for Daneliya to be able to share her secrets and emotions with us. I love every song she has performed in her past. Her voice is so magical. I love this song even though it makes me very sad for her. It is so touching with a powerful message. I only wish her the greatest success in whatever she chooses do in life. She does have more music coming and it is incredible. This new production and writing team she is working with seem to be the right people for her. Her writing partners are 2 young woman from Toronto Canada in their mid 20s. I think she can relate to them because they are much closer to her in age, than the other group.

There are two artists that are Daneliya, one is the artist that we want her to be, and the other and the other is the one she is growing to be. She is seventeen, and like most people of her age, she’s changing and trying to establish who she is and where she wants to go. I had NOTHING figured out when I was seventeen, or eighteen, or twenty two. Breaking free from people who she feels are holding her back is vital to her growth. The EP was nice, but she was being held back, and she wasn’t allowed to take risks. The performer that started all of this, took huge risks. She sang songs that were huge, but someone told her that she wasn’t a little girl with a big voice anymore. They weren’t thinking big enough. They told her that the novelty will where off. Angelina decided from the start that she was going to be this sultry temptress, because that’s her style. She has never varied, never wavered or questioned her ability. Daneliya is a better singer than Angelina, but up to now, she hadn’t decided to take control and follow her own instincts. This could be the beginning of her rise to greatness. It’s not going to win a Grammy, but she needed to express these thoughts and feelings in order to be free of them.

Well , Shirley Temple was never abel to breakaway from her child persona . Daneliya is trying to breakaway from being one of the most adored child singer on the planet . Now she has to re invent herself as sexy young adult performer. Its going to be a process because none of us old fans is use to it yet . Because she is like our own child . And it kills us to see her as a adult . She is and will always be our little baby.
