You do know these Hummer H2 are like Chevy Tahoe / Suburban chassis with a Hummer looking body on top it's all GM there's nothing really Hummer about it LOL they look cool though....

Actually that is totally incorrect. The H2 frame is is totally unique to the H2 and is loosely based on a Chevy 2500HD front suspension section and a custom 1500 rear section. The H2 was also built by AM General at the AM General factory right alongside the H1. The H2 does use much of the same drivetrain and electrical system as a Chevy but the full time 4WD transfer case and Eaton locking rear differential are also somewhat specific to the H2. The H3 is as you describe though - those essentially are a different body on a Trailblazer chassis.
@@shadetreewrenching the H3 is not a rebodied anything, it uses a HEAVILY modified GMT345 chassis, and shared only 15-10 percent of parts (depending on year). The H3 could come with an Eaton rear locker from 06 to 08, and then could come with Eaton front and rear lockers from 09-10. It also had a unique to it traction control system. It also had a full-time 4wd not shared with anything tmk. And could come with a 4.09:1 low range Tcase. Also, it came standard with 4.56:1 final drive with the I5, and a 4.10:1 with the V8.
It was certainly not a rebodied anything.
My dream was to own a Hummer H2 pickup, but my financial means did not allow me, but with determination and persistence, I will have one.

I love my hummer it is the greatest SUV I have ever owned and I’m glad to know the capabilities of it in case I’m ever in a jam but I’ll be damned if I’m going to do this on purpose just for fun lol

☝️If you come with Hummer or Fire !? It doesn't even make a difference! In all these scenes, the tires of these cars were not specifically for off-road swamps and mud, now you want to have 4 cylinders, or 8 cylinders or 100 cylinders, if you do not have the wisdom, you will not go even 1 meter forward. Just ruining your car tires and clutch, you do nothing, you also accelerate environmental pollution. Having a brain is a good thing, which unfortunately many have failed to have.🤔

I bought a Hummer H2 brand new in 2004 , also had a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee limited , V8 at the same time , 2005 . The hummer never got stuck once , the Jeep did though . Hier H2 was amazing off road , I loved it , and miss it lol

My 2012 grand cherokee V6 does pretty good in mid. Ive put an H3 to shame.
I loved my H2 and it never got stuck and I tried all the time. Tires do make a difference. I've pulled many jeeps out of mud holes. Way to light and short wheel base hurts them alot. Tried getting it stuck at soggy bottom and a smart ass with the H2 Recovery sticker on his jeep windshield made a comment about he's going to get paid and a new sticker. I laughed and told him to get out of the way. And throw mud all over his jeep as I drove out.😂🤣😂
we have to be friends!! we have 4 hummers and we tried to get them stuck and they just won’t! i relate with you there. we have a couple jeep recovery vehicle stickers on each of the hummers. if you have IG go check mine out i post the hummers on it @big.blues.big.adventure

@@TipsyTubers while you are correct the hummer H2 does not have a turbo, I suggest you add one it’s makes the engine come to life and with an added turbo cam as well ah man, Your H2 will thank you and you’ll never want to drive anything else.

Little I5 manual with 27gal tank getting just shy of 525 miles out that tank. That manual makes it so worth the drive.
I bought Hummer H 3 2007 model n toyota landcruiser 1998 model . Hemmer gear box is so many problem but landcruiser is still all good
