I can't draw a straight line with a ruler! lol I remember when my brother was little and a nurse came around to check his development (can't remember at what age, probably just after turning one) and they tested dexterity by getting him to draw a line, a circle and a square, and his were all perfect. But I'm 7 years older than him and couldn't get anywhere close. Still can't manage it. My circles never join up properly. I could accept them being sort of wonky/squashed, but I can't even manage to finish the line where I started. I draw them as if I'm trying to do them joined up like writing Os in cursive. ROFL.

I agree. I actually shaved my legs for the first time in over two years recently because we went to the beach and so I wasn't going to be wearing my usual leggings for paddling and stuff and felt like maybe I should get rid of the forests on my legs (the hairs were nearly 2 inches long so....). And now I remember why I hate it so much. My legs are so prickly! :( I sit cross-legged a lot, but keep stabbing myself with the stupid pokey hairs. Can't wait for them to grow out again.

Never shaved my legs, don’t see the point. Why shave when it’ll just come back and be torture when it does? My dad shaved my armpits once. It hurt so bad for a while, all the prickles..Never again!
I don’t care if women are “supposed” to shave, I don’t like torturing myself just to please others. If guys don’t have to, why do I?

I feel like with the background being so saturated, it makes the "skin tone" tone down. Like the skin now looks more 'normal' with the bright tones next to it. I really like it tbh

They're SO CUTE! This is so inspiring, I love the simple characters on the textured watercolor background. Daniel Smith paints granulate SO much though, so if that's not your thing, they may not be the paints for you.

Daniel Smiths are soooo good! Although admittedly, I'm not really a big painter; I've used them pretty much exclusively for gum bichromate prints. At the very least I find they excel at that process as compared to other watercolors I've tested ^_^

Oooo a sketch and wash pencil! Those can be really fun. I had to draw a few skulls using one in my 2 drawing classes in college
If you want to start using colored pencils with watercolor I would suggest doing all your watercolor first and then just going in with a black prismacolor Pencil where you want the shadows to be. I do it all the time and I LOOOOVE the effect it gives.
I know people are so happy to make it right away after a video goes live, I know that it is what the algorithm likes, but I really like saving a Kasey Golden video. I just know she puts out quality videos and they brighten my day. Keep going as you are Kasey! I am not a Dan Smith fan, Yes, they are artist quality but I feel that they are a bit overrated, there are better brands I would rather spend my money on! DaVinci Paint in California is an easy choice! Wonderful video, thanks Kasey!!

The reason the paint didnt spread as much as you expected is because youve worked with Qor! Qor has an EXTREMELY fast dispersal due to its unique binder, aquazol. DS uses oxgall, like most brands.

The tye-dye background makes me think that maybe they got married or grewup/met in the 70s. Like they were having there anniversary and started reminiscing about how they used to be hippies, like real hippies, and decided to have a hippie based anniversary party. Its just a little detail that happened on accident, but it created the entire story for me. Against the white clothes made it even better.
