Objectively I think it's pretty equal but I think most people like Coles verse more because we agree with what he said lol. The song was meant for Joyner to be somewhat of the bad guy while Jcole is a reformed bad guy that is now more wise.

No one really outshined the other. Joyners verse spoke a truth of she knew he wasn't shit from the jump, but she still chose to rock with him. Coles verse was more on the lines of, even though she knew he was a fuck boy, that the fuck boy she put himself in her shoes. It's basically both sides played a part in the failure of the relationship.
