Vagrant Story needs a sequal. I disliked it my 1st playthrough and Loved it my 2nd and 3rd playthrough. The closest thing to it is FF XII, the Zodiac Age.
I couldn't get into Vagrant Story, I wanted to, but I couldn't even beat the first boss. Like fundamentally, I didn't know how to, the combat system and the sphere of influence was just WAY too abstract for me.
I would love a sequel to Diddy King Racing. Eternal Darkness, Bully, and L.A. Noire are high on my list to play, I just haven't gotten to them yet. Days Gone is a game I'd like to see a sequel for. It's too bad they canceled the one that was planned. It's the perfect mix of The Last of Us and The Walking Dead.
Freedom Fighters, made worse by the fact a sequel was announced as coming almost seventeen years ago but never arrived. Star Wars Rogue Squadron III Alpha Protocol Starflight II Colony Wars III Rival Schools: Project Justice Sunset Riders Robotrek
Another game I keep hearing about is Blue Dragon. Some people love it, some hate it. Might deserve a sequel. The 7th Saga deserves a remake and a sequel. Crystalis on the NES could have a “rebuilding civilization “ type sequel. So many choices.
I do enjoy what you do. I also like your honesty about games you dislike. I enjoyed playing Bully and LA Noire it’s too bad they don’t have sequels. I like how LA Noire ended.
I want a sequel to Star Wars Republic Commando. The characters were great and the four man squad mechanics made me enjoy it more than Halo 2 from a few months prior. The fact that this game spawned a popular novel series should have been enough to show there was interest in a second game. Imperial Commando would have been a natural sequel concept.
Great synopsis on Hagane! I still have to beat it before I can say if we need a sequel, but on paper yeah... we do. I like how you have a diverse group of genres from different generations. Keeps things interesting as a viewer and shows you give a damn about exploring what's out there. A true gamer!
I appreciate that! I never know what will come my way, it really depends on the focus that the viewers want. Right now I'm working on "franchise frenzy" which is a bag of different franchises, you never know what we will be playing.
Magic of Sherazade on NES was a fun action/RPG combination game that was supposed to have a sequel, unfortunately the company that produced it,Culture Brain, went under before it was finished. Too bad,it really should have had a sequel.
@@Fortefyre It had a unique Arabian theme to it where you played as a prince who's sweetheart got kidnapped by an evil wizard (Of course...) and you were aided by genies and magical beings.
@@Fortefyre It got some flack early on from framerate issues on PS4. However if you have a PS5 you can have a great experience from what I understand at 60fps. I played through it on PC and had a great time.
Full Throttle (1995 point and click adventure game from Lucasarts, by Tim Schafer) It deserved a worthy sequel. They were working on one, for PS2 and Gamecube, but as i could have seen, it wasn't going to be good. Plus, Ben's voice-actor died in 2002. So i don't think we will see a sequel to that game anytime soon. It's better left alone, in my opinion. There IS a remaster of the game though, which is pretty good as well.
Thanks for the great list! Interesting games in there! And that dude who suggested it sure was a handsome devil!

@Fortefyre Combat system is why I hated it the first playthrough. Once you figure it out, it's fun as hell.
Despite having never played them, I second Eternal Darkness and Bully. I’ve heard nothing but good things about both of them.
You HAVE to play Eternal Darkness, Bully is whatever' it's a Rockstar game through and through, but Eternal Darkness is a must-play.
I would love a sequel to Diddy King Racing. Eternal Darkness, Bully, and L.A. Noire are high on my list to play, I just haven't gotten to them yet.

It took me a LONG time to check out many of the games I mentioned. There aren't that many games that "speak" to me in terms of storyline.
Yup, Torin's Passage...I've always wanted to return to the Lands Below.
P.S. Chrono Trigger too...cuz Chrono Cross doesn't/shouldn't count.
It gets even more frustrating when you see the plans that were laid out for the series!
Freedom Fighters, made worse by the fact a sequel was announced as coming almost seventeen years ago but never arrived.
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III
Alpha Protocol
Starflight II
Colony Wars III
Rival Schools: Project Justice
Sunset Riders
Robotrek
All exceptional games!

There truly are!
Damn Rockstar! They're the Daniel Day Lewis of the video game world. Masterpiece, and done. Except for GTA
That's what I've noticed at least.
I do enjoy what you do. I also like your honesty about games you dislike. I enjoyed playing Bully and LA Noire it’s too bad they don’t have sequels. I like how LA Noire ended.
I honestly don't think it could have ended any other way!
Immercenary! Classic haha. Glad you included it though! Now get that long box copy!
And made a fucking typo. Lol. I left out the damn C. 🤣
Great list by the way. Do 10 MORE games that should have had sequels. Like Legend of Dragoon
Added to the list! Don't forget, I do a monthly firefighter episode giveaway at the end of the month! It's on the community page when it happens :)

Absolutely! I heard it was AWESOME.

Going through and giving thumbs up on lots of videos that I wasn't logged into watch. I know it helps. You do a real good job here man. Thanks.
That's beyond kind of you! Thank you!
In Eternal Darkness, Alexandra is awakened by a phone call from a nightmare at 3:33am. 333, half the devil.
I still get weirded out by that statue that follows you on the 2nd floor.
My answer: Final Fantasy Tactics. A game on the Gameboy Advance does not count.
BIG FACTS
I wish there was a Dantes Inferno sequel myself
Where he goes to the 7 layers of heaven :P
@@FortefyreAgreed
I agree with Diddy Kong Racing. I had that game as a kid and enjoyed it and played it a lot
It was awesome!
Magic of Sherazade on NES was a fun action/RPG combination game that was supposed to have a sequel, unfortunately the company that produced it,Culture Brain, went under before it was finished. Too bad,it really should have had a sequel.
I've actually never heard of that!
@@Fortefyre It had a unique Arabian theme to it where you played as a prince who's sweetheart got kidnapped by an evil wizard (Of course...) and you were aided by genies and magical beings.
Sleeping Dogs…..man, that game
Right? It was SO good.
I want body harvest to have a sequel
I've never played that one!
Axelay 2 was teased if you beat Axelay on hard difficulty twice.
We never saw it. 😢
It's such a shame when developers have high hopes for a sequel, so much that they put a teaser for the next game, and it just never happens.
Oh wow an axelay 2 would have been amazing.
Symphony of the night 2
That would have been interesting!
Bully for sure.
I swear that Rockstar is the source of these "leaks" so they have a justifiable reason to cancel a game.
I’ll say Earthbound, only because I don’t consider Mother 3 real until it gets a proper English translation and port.
I've SEEN footage of Mother 3, but it doesn't look as fun.
Also, I'd love to see a top 10 best sequels to games. Metal Gear Solid would be all up in that. Pick your sequel
Added to the list!
I’m struggling to think what you could add to Raft in a sequel.
MORE. WATER. I don't know lol.
Days Gone and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance comes to mind.
I really need to check out days gone, it's not often that I get modern recommendations from the twitch side of things.

The Dig needed a sequel too!
Once again, the optimal take on these games. That nail is hurtin from getting smacked on the head so much 😅
I have a badass episode coming out tomorrow, it's about the first 30 NES games, I'm excited to see how it does!
@Fortefyre oh I'm sure it's gonna be a banger, can't wait to see it!
