⁹/16"... 14 mm to be exact. I recommend the Motive MX2320 oil filter cap wrench. Ultra Platinum is a bit overkill unless your vehicle has a GDI engine; then you need a low volatility oil. Anyway... Good video. Better than I could do.
Had to Google GDI. :). Isn't the 2GR-FE engine in the Sienna a direct injection engine? You're right though, Ultra Platinum is overkill. I figured I'm saving money by doing it myself so I'll spend a little more on the oil and filter. Thanks for the feedback though! Would love to hear anyone else's opinion on oil, filter, anything else.
@@Moretimethanmoney I'm not sure what year the engine became a GDI... I was thinking a little like you. But I decided that since I'm changing my own oil instead of buying more expensive oil, I would buy the economy brand that still meant the Toyota specs and simply change it every 5K instead of 10K. So I use SuperTech full synthetic 0W-20.
4:12 "There's a special tool..." Darn it, Toyota. I don't have a giant wrench thing like that, so ugh. And you don't have that tool, either, so you didn't torque it to spec at 6:56, which is fine. Most people don't torque to spec in their oil changes. Good video, though! Showed me all the steps. Good commentary.
Do we have to reset anything from the dashboard once we finish doing the oil change?

What Jack capacity do you need 3 ton Jack?
Thanks for the video and the torque specs. I use rhino ramps for my oil changes, and that gives me enough clearance.
Don’t forget to replace the oil plug gasket. 😅
