It was amazing because it really feels like an anime from the 80s. I don't think there would be any romance between Jax, Pomni or Caine, because in the original series no one has a romance. We'll see Jax's "I love you" as friendship, since he acts like an idiot to avoid going crazy at the circus. In time, he can redeem himself and be friends with everyone. The scenes with Caine could be manipulation; he pretends to be friendly, but he's hiding something.

You're just paranoid. Caine just hates the lumpy colourful characters for reasons. Hes also just going through a hard time and nobody else cares so he just becomes an NPC villain, goon to goomba stomp. It could also just be a metaphor for self harm affecting others in the circus badly (see su'€idal contagion in mental facilities for more) so he had to be contained. His room says it all (dark art speaking to mindset) and his psychotic esque outbursting causing havoc so he had to be contained with the other "abstractions". The name abstraction also makes me think maybe he was just non relatable to reality / the plot so couldn't have a place.
Caine isn't manipalutive,he Is just an IA making to do adventures to the people in the circus,he truly thinks What he did Is right,if in the adventure something bad happens Is because ir can't be an adventure without conflict.But he also didn't understand humans,so he also didn't know the limit or What they truly want.

Seems like rather than planning out an adventure with characters in mind he planned the adventure out to suit pomni and left it at that while letting the others do their own thing and decide for themselves what would be best for themselves. All the while subtly picking up on what would suit them on the fly while keeping the main focus on pomni. I mean even the tea time with ghost lady while keeping the rabbit guy on a lock was a form of cathartic therapy I'm SURE XD
Okay this is just my opinion but I am 1000% a Caine x Pomni shipper!❤😊❤because I think the ship is cute and I could imagine Caine being a version of the beast from beauty and the beast. Also imagine if the was an anime version of The Amazing Digital that was a romance series. Like if a romance anime version of The Amazing Digital Circus came out I would watch it as i would be suspecting some Caine x Pomni and Jax x Ragatha moments and before anyone complains about my comment I just wanted to say that I respect everyone’s ships and think that everybody else should respect each others ships and opinions as well because shipping wars are bad and other people can feel hurt from them so that’s why I’m gonna respect others ships so everyone else can see how better it feels to respect each others ships rather than having a big war about what ship is better.
Def the cutest to me so far too, I never really saw Caine as intentionally manipulative to Pomni (Gooseworx literally confirmed he had no thoughts of actual negative things, he is just naive and is blindly thinking he's making everyone happy even if he seemed forceful) and he doesn't seem to cope the unhealthiest out of the cast besides those freak-out jokes. That scene with the Moon made me uncomfortable on Caine's part and while I don't understand the appeal, I still respected the people that like that kind of dynamic. If there would be anyone that would smack the reality to Caine, I'd want it to be Pomni. Out of them, she seemed the most insistent and is not afraid to speak out to him. Even if it would result to him getting punched at the face, I feel like he would still appreciate that lol (he's willing to listen and learn, that's what makes it all the more cute to me. Idc if it's not canon, I just like the concept of the ship than anything else. The thought of Pomni helping Caine make the circus an actual better place would be incredibly sweet, he's easy to talk to yet no one even tried to approach him about such problems. :,) )
Okay I definitely agree on the part where you said that the moon freaks Caine out and I do agree I don’t really understand the Caine x Moon ship myself because of that. But… that doesn’t mean I don’t respect the people who like it though. And as for the Caine x Pomni ship I just think it’s adorable and makes sense because a ringmaster and a jester is an unusual combination of a ship that it actaully makes the ship kind of unique. So that’s what I agree on so far and to be honest with you… Yes I do think the whole shipping war about The Amazing Digital Circus ships is ridiculous no matter what the ships are because the creator of The Amazing Digital Circus Gooseworx confirmed that we can ship who ever we like so yeah… Agreed I hate shipping wars too even if I love ships.
