- WOW! A whole year has passed and Cookie is 1 year old on May 3rd 2017. It's been a whirlwind, a big learning curve, very hard work but with lots of fun, cuddles and cuteness! Most importantly she is part of the family :-)
If you have a little puppy, persevere you will get there in the end and it will all be worthwhile.

Such a beautiful breed! Makes me miss mine.. we had to put him to sleep on 4/8/18 can't believe a year has nearly passed already 💔🙏🐶 he was going to be 18 years old which is a blessing for a Cocker Spaniel since they live 12/15 years. Love and treat them with lots of love and care and you'll be blessed as I was. Unfortunately for congestive heart failure 💔

That's what ours died off, still miss him now. he got to 15 .Your right about love and care.Never wanted to go through that again so I thought,but been looking at puppies cockers of course. recently watch this space.😀

Well we finally did after 5 years , a cockerpoo named Jaxx not exactly a spaniel but he favours a cocker more . We thought about a cocker but I was a bit scare of comparing him to Charly So enjoying having a dog again took a while but hey he's a joy x

Got mine in 2018 my god never had such a loving dog she loves everyone (sometimes to a fault ) like to be close al the time when not active ver different then my poor gone to heaven Cairn Terrior but that is good in the way that the are both loed and cannot be compared at all . I have a Cocker Spaniel too! He is a boy,he's NAME is Kayro😋 he is 6 months old and he's growing sooo fast too!😍🐶😭 but he is still veryyyy cuutee😅😍😍🤗 I think yours too,even he is a big boy/girl now! 😉 I think every moment with our dogs is worth it!😊

hi, we are currently looking at getting a show cocker in the new year, I'm a groundsman so most of the time I will be able to take it to work with me, but on occasions I wont be able to, what are these breeds like being left on there own for around 4hours? thanks!
I would suggest you train them well. Use a cage from an early age. Cookie is cage trained. It was hard at first but now she goes in if her own accord and is fine for 4-5 hours if need be. Invest your time well when they are young, training classes and research. Persevere too, it won’t happen over night but there will be a tipping point where things drop into place. Good luck, amazing dogs.

She is half show and half working.

Ye the mix of the 2 is perfect, best of both worlds. We got her from a friend who breeds them locally in Staybridge, Tameside.
@@CarBoot_Chris aw you are super lucky! Yeah I agree with you. Hopefully I will be able to get a English Cocker spaniel one day. She reminds me of The Lady and the Tramp. Soo much, probably because of the long ears.
They are amazing dogs and she has such a great temperament and personality.
