Woah, this is incredible! When I searched for Green Star remixes, I really wasn't expecting to find very many results, and to see that one of the few existing ones is produced with such love, creativity, and skill was such a delight! I really, really like your style of music, how it uses a variety of instrument types, dynamic rhythms, and most of all - creative arrangements that use alternate chord progressions, melody variations, and plenty of original composition. This remix is a perfect example of that, how you went and created entirely new parts that still sound entirely in-theme with the original. The chord structure remains largely intact, but you use that opportunity to create this kind of mystical interlude, complete with atmospheric spacey sounds, punchy drums, and... wow, vocal chops, too? My favorite aspect of all here, though, is that syncopated 6/8 style beat that sounds like a powerful ballet dance (which is fittingly reflected in the image of Rosalina) - the rhythms and drum choices are so good, and I like that the beat constantly evolves, too, adding in new percussive elements. I never imagined someone would go all-in with a forgotten theme like Green Star, but this is just pure ear candy. Your visuals look great, too, and I like the dual frequency spectrum analyzers working in tandem on the sides. It feels reminiscent of a very well-known remixer, who I'd say your skills are on par with - and I mean that sincerely. The shifting, twinkling stars in the background, the spinning Power Star, and the emergence of that Luma mid-way through all add to the visual appeal and make for an even more engaging listening experience. The effort you put into your music and visuals is crystal-clear, and I've been enjoying a lot of your other music. I know the term "hidden gem" gets thrown around a lot on RUclips, but it's really warranted here. Stay motivated, and keep up the excellent work, Awedecai! 🌟
Wow... This was a phenomenal breakdown of this remix, my art--everything! I am at a loss for words (which is a lot for me, haha). Your passion for music is incredibly inspiring and contagious. You don't know how much I appreciate the hearing you acknowledge the little things I put into my music that most people do not notice... :) And I gotta say--reading your comment makes me look at Green Star in a completely different way. Now I want to listen to it over and over! You even had something to say about the ballerina-like vibe to the music/artwork x3 Thank you so much for the warm compliments and analysis of my creativity. Being able to experience music through the perspective of others is truly a beautiful thing and this comment was a work of art. ...What a fantastic eye for detail. Thanks again, dude! Motivated! :)
I've listened to this like 5 times in a single day, this is so good. I literally can't stop rocking my head to it, and that part where the chopped up vocals come in oh man! It's a crime that you aren't more popular for how amazing these remixes are. Seriously great stuff!
Dude, that's... so awesome, thank you so much for your kind words, and for listening to my remixes! I'm really overjoyed you like the vocals too. I was wondering what people would think of them! :p But wow... thanks so much for becoming my Patron... I don't even know what to say, other than: I hope I can deliver to you the best music possible, that meets your expectations! Thank you for choosing to find me and my work worthy of this kind of generous support!~ Enjoy your weekend! :)
Man you keep stepping up your game! Big fan of the intro in particular, but the whole thing is really great sounds like something you could easily relax and space out to ha... space out... because... Mario Galaxy... is in space... No? no but seriously, I literally spaced out while listening to this, with no other thoughts other than just listening... especially the last 3rd of the track
Hey, look who it is! :o Dude... thanks a lot, I'm really humbled that you think so, man! I'm trying to get better and better, so your kind words are really... ahem... out of this world ... ... ... ... Anyway, I'll do my best to put out some real great music man--I'll try :) I have so much inspiration at the moment so, thank you for listening too. Hope you're doing well, too! Take it easy, L~
@@AwedecaiMusic I mean, I'm steadily developing a little concept for a "return to form" for 2D Mario, that uses all returning music tracks from past and present, so...

This shows why Nintendo need to bring back their old music in newer games for nostalgia
Agreed. We also need a need Galaxy 3 or at least Galaxy 2 ported to the Switch. One day, I hope!~
